INTUITIVE GRAPHICAL DATA ACQUISITION The transfer of burn injuries onto the 3D model with standard input devices is as easy as drawing on a sheet of paper.
OBJECTIVE BURN AREA TRANSFER Digital pictures can be superimposed on the 3D model in order to allow objective verification of wound borders and surface areas.
INTEGRATED DIGITAL PICTURE ARCHIVE The integrated digital picture archive allows the structured archiving of digital patient pictures. A comprehensive search function provides fast post-processing of imported pictures.
ADDITIONAL BURN-RELATED DATA In addition to the graphical input of burn areas, BurnCase 3D offers a complete data set of burn-related information, which is based on international standards.
3D LANDMARKS ON PATIENT MODEL Besides burn regions BurnCase 3D allows to insert 3D landmarks on the model surface which can be assigned to multiple digital pictures. These pictures can afterwards be found easily visually instead of common textual search functions.
CONFIGURATION MANAGER This tool simplifies the adaptation and verification of the burn-related data set to special needs of the institution. CHECK FOR COMPLETENESS Visual feedback whether all mandatory data fields have been filled and what is missing.
