PROJECT DESCRIPTION Football is one of the most popular sport in the world and its also becomes one of the most popular sport in Indonesia especially in Lampung. But it’s not supported by the good facilities whether it is of national and international standard. Therefore, we encourage the Lampung Provincial Government to collaborate with ITERA in planning the sports facilities in the form of a football stadium in ITERA with an area of ± 28 hectares that can accommodate ± 30,000 spectators. The main objective of this project is to design an international football stadium with a bioclimatic architectural approach which will be designed according to FIFA regulations by meeting the requirements and commercialization needs. Important elements that are used as references in this design include circulation, visibility, safety, and stadium user convenience.

SITE ANALYSIS

According to FIFA and SNI standards, the stadium's orientation must be longitudinal from North to South for sunlight stabilization.

The wind blows from the Northeast to the Southwest. Its related to the openings / natural vents of the building

Jl. Pangeran Senopati Jl. Endro Suratmin

From very early in the process, it became clear that the project was not just about a stadium but it was set to be a huge redevelopment of the surrounding area.

This retention basin (embung) will be used as a rainwater reservation that will be distributed for garden watering.

11

Circulation of Vehicles Vehicle circulation is made radially around the stadium to make it easier for visitors to access the building.

Pedestrian Path 11

11

Pedestrians can get around in a pedestrian path and plaza. There are plazas on each side as a transitional space between the building and the outdoors.

Parking Lot 11

The parking lot is divided into 5 parts ; spectators, staff, VIP spectators, media, and Convention center visitors. For spectators, divided into 2 parts to avoid chaos and traffic jams.

DESIGN ISSUES

Utilization of Embung

Supporting facilities are provided to make this stadium still in use even though a football match is not being held.

Arrangement Of Mass The main stadium is laid out in the middle of the site so that it becomes the focal point of the site.

The viewer's visibility to an object in the field is at least 90 meters from the center of the field and a maximum of 190 meters from the corner of the field.

DESIGN TRANSFORMATION The form of the stadium adapts the General Football Stadium in accordance with FIFA's recommendations.

Then given the additional space in the west area according to the results of the space program analysis.

This stadium is a football stadium with a bioclimatic architectural concept. Bioclimatic design – combining “biology” and “climate” – an approach to the design of buildings and landscape that is based on local climate. So, the resulting design strategies is linked to the physiological and psychological need for health and comfort.

Cross Ventilation

Fasade Concept

The outside air will enter the building through the holes on the facade and then flow into the field through the vertical grid around the field.

Basically, the application of this material is a very effective way to liven up the façade. This perforated cladding provides natural lighting and natural ventilation so that it will reduce the energy consumption.

Daylighting Sunlight that entering the building could minimize the usage of electricity during the day

A touch of Lampung culture is given to the façade by covering the center with a 'Pucuk Rebung' pattern . Not only to raise local wisdom, the pattern also aims to reduce light that Colorentering Schemethe building.

Wind Tunnel The west side of the 1st floor is a very thick building, in that a solidvoid proportion will be applied to regulate the air circulation technique so that the temperature in the room remains cool.

The yellow color matches well with the stadium's character. This color would be able to radiate warmth, light and bright, inspiring, encouraging selfexpression and intellectual abilities. The orange color describes friendly, confident, friendly socialization and an impression of hope, creativity and vitality.

Warm Up Area Concept The indoor warm up area’s wall is not a massive wall but a wooden partition. then air can flow into the building.

As a result, this house was made for the young family who has an active lifestyle. The shape also supports the concept of tropical architecture with its sloping roof. The facade uses exposed brick material to makes it warmer, homey and unique. The use of large windows aims to create natural lighting and good air circulation (cross ventilation).

Currently the Institut Teknologi Sumatera is intensively constructing a lecture building so that it can accommodate all of its students. Institut Teknologi Sumatera has 35 departments, while there are only 8 lecture buildings available. This is what encourages the design of the lecture building for each department. This project is a mid-rise building design for the PWK (regional and urban planning) department. This building consists of 6 floors which cover all the needs of the department. This project is located between the architecture and DKV department building .
