PHASE 1: Total Grade: 14%
IN LAB TASK 01 REQUIREMENTS: Using their acquired skills from Arts and Architecture and proficiency in Rhino tools, the student is expected to transform provided 2D curves into a 3D building model, encapsulating form, expression, and creativity.
OBJECTIVES learn Rhino commands and how to use them
REFLECTION: The task of learning all of the instructions in a short amount of time proved to be difficult, and I remember having a hard time concentrating while the TA displayed each command and the function that corresponded to it. In order to keep up with the pace of the lesson, I took notes on the commands and made an effort to enter them into the computer as rapidly as possible. The three hours that I spent in the lab each week were spent practicing all of the instructions that we had learnt and experimenting with the program. This was done so that I could become proficient. This practice proved to be really valuable since it gave me the opportunity to explore the entire amount of Rhino's creative powers in an unrestricted manner. This is in contrast to the in-lab exercises that we completed, in which we were required to carry out tasks with given instructions. I was able to learn about a new aspect of Rhino as a result of participating in these sessions.

ASSIGNMENT 01 REQUIREMENTS: Create a 3D form composition of two antonym concepts. The forms need to be integrated rather than two independent components and the message must be clear but also cannot a direct analogy.
OBJECTIVES This assignment aims at precising, thinking, and understanding some basic concepts of creating three-dimensional form compositions that consist of abstract shapes using the basic 3D modelling methods in Rhino
REFLECTION: A number of factors contributed to the fact that I considered the task to be rather difficult. In the first place, I had not yet achieved comprehensive mastery of Rhino, which made it challenging for me to finish the assignment. In addition, I had a tendency to overthink things, and I was adamant on coming up with a design that was one of a kind, which made the task even more difficult. In addition, the ideas that Sol presented were difficult to understand and difficult to execute in Rhino, which made it difficult for me to find a balance between adhering to the instructions and incorporating my own thoughts. On the other hand, I persisted through the process of trial and error, and as a result, I was able to learn and master Rhino commands that went beyond what was taught in the classroom classroom. My trust in the software was strengthened as a result of this, and it assisted me in developing my talents even further. My overall experience with this job was beneficial, as it provided me with the opportunity to acquire a more in-depth knowledge of Rhino and the possibilities it possesses.

ASSIGNMENT 02 REQUIREMENTS: For the purpose of this assignment, students are given a Rhinoceros model that contains required dimensions. The difficulty is in accurately duplicating the architectural details and design of the structure, making use of the dimensions that have been provided in order to bring about a faithful three-dimensional reproduction of the building within the Rhino software.
OBJECTIVES Using the fundamental 3D modeling techniques in Rhino, the purpose of this project is to provide a concise, thought-provoking, and comprehensive grasp of certain fundamental concepts related to the creation of three-dimensional form compositions that are composed of abstract shapes.
REFLECTION: I attributed my perception of the work as being rather challenging to a variety of different elements that contributed to my perception. The fact that I had not yet reached a level of complete mastery of Rhino was the primary factor that made it difficult for me to complete the task. In addition, I had a propensity to overthink things, and I was keen about coming up with a design that was one of a kind, which made the work even more challenging than it already was. In addition, the concepts that Sol offered were not only difficult to comprehend but also challenging to implement in Rhino. As a result, it was challenging for me to achieve a balance between sticking to the instructions and implementing my own ideas. On the other hand, I persisted through the process of trial and error, and as a result, I was able to learn and master Rhino commands that went beyond what was taught in the academic classroom. As a consequence of this, my confidence in the software was bolstered, and it was also of assistance to me in further strengthening my skills. My whole experience with this job was excellent since it gave me the opportunity to obtain a more in-depth knowledge about Rhino and the possibilities it holds. This was a fortunate opportunity for me.

PHASE 2: Total Grade: 6%
ASSIGNMENT 03 REQUIREMENTS: A 3D representation of the Rhino model that they had previously made in Photoshop. It is important that the image properly reflects the methods that were covered in the lab lectures. Students need to make sure that their Rhino model has classified layers and cast shadows before they export it so that they can effectively visualize it in Photoshop.
OBJECTIVES In order to improve students' ability to visualize architectural designs using Rhino and Photoshop, the purpose of this work is to reinforce those skills. Through the process of exporting their 3D Rhino model to Photoshop, students are able to apply the concepts they have learned and gain an appreciation for the significance of model preparation for efficient visualization. The result is an increase in their level of expertise in these complimentary design fools.
REFLECTION: In addition to being one of the easier assignments, this one was also one of the more difficult ones simply because it was our very first experience working with Photoshop. The idea of the levels was foreign to me at first, and as a result, I had some difficulty understanding them. In the event that I were to go back, I would select a grass scale that was smaller, and I would modify the colors so that they were more realistic. The trees are not of the highest quality, and the sky showed an excessive amount of vibrancy. Therefore, I would select a variety of tree PNGs and then add a little bit extra shadow to the trees.

MINI PROJRCT REQUIREMENTS: In order to fulfill the requirements, we were required to construct a shadow of a pavilion in which we experience shadows and the patterns they generate.
OBJECTIVES Through the use of Rhinoceros application, the purpose of this project is to provide you with the opportunity to practice and enhance your modeling skills in order to create three-dimensional form compositions that have a meaning as well as an architectural function. In addition to this, it seeks to comprehend fundamental ideas of visualization. utilizing the Photoshop software and presenting a poster of your project that was created after it was completed.
REFLECTION: In terms of my future, I am extremely thrilled about the possibility of attempting to construct actual buildings, and I have the impression that I have decided to accomplish that for my first assignment in digital, but the lecturers were seeking for the abstract element of thinking. In terms of my future, I am extremely thrilled by the possibility of attempting to construct actual buildings, and I have the impression that I have opted to accomplish that for my first assignment in digital. IN LAB TASK 02 REQUIREMENTS: Take into consideration the line weights of the section and elevation, and then create and upload the 3D Revit model as well as the PDF format for the section and elevation drawings that follow. It would be helpful if you could include the ground floor drawings, sections, and elevations.
OBJECTIVES Acquiring the knowledge necessary to produce the construction technical information necessary to model a building with proportions that are accurate.
REFLECTION: In light of the fact that the roof was sloping, this task was of a medium difficulty. Due to the fact that we had more experience with Revit, the process was less difficult than the initial lab in Revit. In comparison to the other projects, I was able to do it in a shorter amount of time because it was simple and uncomplicated.

ASSIGNMENT 04 REQUIREMENTS: Make the remaining facade using the projections that have been provided as well as the three-dimensional composition. In addition to providing the plan, section, and elevation, any elements that are missing (over 1.5) should be displayed as hidden lines.
OBJECTIVES To learn parallel projections and construct them on Rhino.
REFLECTION: Due to the fact that it was uncomplicated and I already had a background in parallel projections, this was the assignment that I found to be the least difficult. Consequently, I began by drawing it on paper, including all of the measurements, and then I repeated it by drawing it over rhino. Because the "ortho" option in Rhino automatically draws straight lines and it draws to scale, it was an excellent piece of software for using in this situation.

ASSIGNMENT 05 REQUIREMENTS: Interoperability is the practice of seamlessly operating a three-dimensional model between different software platforms, such as Rhino and Revit. Architects offen use this concept to create curvilinear forms in Rhino and then export them to Revit for generating two-dimensional projections. This assignment focuses on operating the Bosjes Chapel model between Rhino and Revit, involving designing the curvilinear roof in Rhino and exporting it to Revit, followed by designing the curtain wall system for the rectilinear nbody.
OBJECTIVES This assignment covers multiole objectives, including learning diverse 3D modeling techniques. implementing interoperability, connecting 30 imagination to 2D projections, developing precise archirectural arawings. enhancing BIM modeling skills, and solving technical connections between building components. These obectives aim to enhance students proficiency in digital design and modeling processes.
REFLECTION: The idea of interoperability was rendered surprisingly easy to understand thanks to the combination of Rhino and Revit. It seemed as though there was no break in continuity when switching between the two software platforms, which enabled the effective transfer and integration of data.

ASSIGNMENT 06 REQUIREMENTS: To print out soft copy PDF sheets for the 2D projections (plans, section, and elevation) at 1:50 scale from the Revit model created for in-lab task 03 (Two floors guest's cottage). Then, we had to render them as realistlcally as possible while adding cast shadows for daytime nd artficial lights for nightime. We also had to include furniture.
OBJECTIVES Firstly, to produce 2D triadic projections with correct dimensions. Another main objectives is to render on photoshop by assigning materials and cast shadows while making them look as realistic as possible.
REFLECTION: This assignment was of medium difficulty because it was challenging to find the same furniture from differently perspectives. So I had to get similar Loong furniture's and do the edits on photoshop (whether it was to manually add parts or to change the colors/materials/textures. One trick I learned is to go to a furniture website because sometimes they take pictures of the furniture from different angles. However, I enjoyed it because it was a chance of practicing interior design.

Final Project REFLECTION: During the course of this work, I was exposed to a wide variety of new tools, some of which I had not anticipated being related to science. In spite of the fact that I am taking the class again, I surprised myself by realizing that in the future, when it comes to projects. It is not enough to simply complete the project or the assignment; rather, it is the concept of discovering new possibilities, gaining knowledge of different styles, and stepping beyond of your comfort zone.
