ANIME SPOTLIGHTS STELLVIA In 2167, an electromagnetic wave--the result of the explosion of a supernova--bathed the earth in harmful radiation. Now, 186 years later, an even more harmful "second wave" is on its way. Meanwhile, a fifteen-year-old computer genius named Shima Katase has just entered a space academy and is teetering on the brink between star pupil and class troublemaker. The online Gainax diary states that 2004 was "the year of Honey" and that Hideaki Anno has moved on to a new project for 2005. Photography and preparations have begun on this "new project," but no further details have been made available.

ADV Announces A Tree of Palme Theatrical Premiere (2005-01-06 18:23:49)

ADV Films sent out a press release today announcing the North American theatrical premiere of A Tree of Palme in Houston Texas on January 14th. Following Houston, A Tree of Palme will be shown in Nashville, Portland, Hartford, San Francisco, Boston and Detroit.
