The song ‘The Twelve Days of Christmas’ holds a truly special place in my heart. As I reminisce about my childhood, I remember how my mother ingeniously created her own version of the 12 days of Christmas, infusing delightful connections to the original song. Those cherished memories inspired me to create this collection, A Pear-fect Christmas. From the partridge in a pear tree to twelve drummers drumming, the whimsical and joyful lyrics brought the enchanting collection together. I hope to evoke the same joy and anticipation that the song brought to my own life and invite you to relish in the timeless magic of the holiday season.

@gigis_thimble I’ve been calling Alpine, Utah "home" for about 25 years now. Many of the prints in this collection were inspired by peaceful walks through my lovely small town, hikes through the majestic nearby mountains, and my actual home - my favorite place to be! 6. Sew 1/4”; bias tape* around all edges with narrow side on top. Take care to catch the underside of the bias tape as you sew. You will need 1 1/4 yards of bias tape for each hot pad.

7. Before ending, form a hanging loop with the bias tape for hanging. Fold raw ends of loop under before sewing into place. Backstitch to secure. *You may use two layers of heat resistant batting with 1/2”; bias tape for thicker hot pads.

@thecottagemama Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle all the Way! The Jingle Bells fabric collection was inspired by the vintage velveteen Christmas stocking my mom had growing up that was sewn by my great-grandmother. Each stocking has an applique Christmas tree with little tiny ornaments, bells, and tinsel. My mom kept the tradition alive by recreating a replica of her stocking for my brother, myself, and all my children — all with different ornaments representing each of us. I hope you feel the nostalgic love of Jingle Bells and create all sorts of family memories and projects with this fabric collection!

I’ve been thinking about designing a fall collection for a little while and I wanted to create a group of prints with colors that could transport you to the perfect autumn afternoon any time of year! For me, a perfect autumn afternoon is a walk out in the sunshine under some beautiful oak trees and spending some time in my garden with my favorite fall flowers. Zinnias are my absolute favorite as they bloom forever and come in many pretty colors that go so well with my style of quilts. So, I’ve included several prints with zinnias, along with black-eyed susans, daisies and mums. Combine those flowers with a few oak leaves, acorns and pumpkins, along with some sun washed colors and it captures the look of fall that I love so much. I hope this collection transports you to the perfect autumn afternoon too!

When I was 11 years old, my dad was away on a business trip when my grandma called saying her friend had black lab puppies. My mom had us all hop in the car and drive to Oregon to pick one up, all before my dad could talk us out of it. Chloe was my first dog and first true friend. She comforted me when I was sad or anxious and would sleep on my bed to keep the nightmares away. She could also be very sneaky and wild (she broke my arm — story for another day), but I loved her so much. She passed away from cancer during finals a few days before I came home for Christmas to say goodbye. I was so heartbroken that I vowed to never get another dog so I wouldn’t have to feel that pain. As it turns out, I couldn’t stay away from that unconditional love forever. Now I have Luna, and she fills the void when I am sick, or sad, or anxious. She is joy and light like the colors and patterns in this collection. The Chloe collection is life through a dog’s eyes--always having the best day.

Serenity Blues may look a bit familiar to some or possibly most of you and you would be correct. Serenity Blues represents my favorite prints from the original Serenity Collection introduced in 2019. Based on a survey I did on my social channels; I was pleasantly surprised that most of you prefer a blue palette over a red palette which helped determine the palette for Serenity’s new coloring. I LOVE how quick I can get answers to questions I spend way too much time pondering over. Oh, the convenience and power of social media; you gotta love it! Serenity Blues does not disappoint either. @nat.juan Through the lens of a young, cute style, Northern Lights is a collection full of arctic creatures. Polar bears, penguins and reindeer are depicted amidst the magic of waves of light, the flicker of snowflakes and the never-ending polar nights. Cold hues take over this collection: from an ocean navy to the cool greys of snow and clouds, the turquoise of the aurora and the aqua blue that we find deep in the glaciers. The whole collection conjures a scenery that I know my younger self would have loved to be wrapped up in.
