Tribute From Siblings
In the words of your big sister, Sister-Npka,
I visited you on Thursday, the 8th of June. You lined up all the bottles of perfume you had been given on your birthday. You asked me to choose one. Perfumes, we all love, good things, we all love, I chose a bottle of Coco Noir. Never in my wildest dream did I think you were saying goodbye with a bottle of fragrance. Nyanyo, you will forever smell great. Sleep eternally in God’s fragrance”.

Menubea, my little pretty sister. I remember when you sacrificed to go all the way to Nigeria, just to buy school stuff for our younger sister. She was about to go to boarding school. After thanking you, I remember saying to you that, “nobody knows who will take care of one in the future”. I will be forever grateful to you. I am grateful for all that you have done for my family. My pretty sister, may you rest in perfect peace.
The word GENEROSITY keeps popping up whenever you are mentioned. Ofeibea remembers;
Abena Menubea. My younger sister who always introduces me as her younger sister. GENEROUS! That’s what I know you to be. I cannot hold my tears as I write this tribute. Sis, rest in perfect peace in the bossom of your maker. Menubea, wor odzogban Da yie, Menubea.
Ofori says this;
Menubea was our nurse when we were children. She was responsible for delivering and enforcing the taking of our weekly anti-malaria pills. Even that duty was discharged with alacrity and poise. Sleep peacefully, big sis.
Your closest ally, Kwakyebea also has this to say;
Menubea. Nyanyo, my sister. You and I were closest to each other. Maybe it's because we went to the same basic schools. I remember being very protective of you, even though you were older. I was always on standby to fight for you to and from school. We grew up playing together and you would call me up at any time to pray. I so admired you for your faith. You NEVER gave up when you were troubled. Oh Nyanyo, we will not see you again when we get together as a family. Maybe, you need the rest. Rest well, my beautiful sister.
