In 2019 with Low-A Hickory, Anderson made 37 appearances, going 7-4 with a 3.22 ERA. Anderson split time between Hickory and Frisco last season, striking out 61 batters in 54.2 innings. OF 8/17

An eighth-round selection of the Rangers in 2018, Biggers spent two seasons at the University of Arkansas, helping the Razorbacks reach the College World Series Finals in 2018. In 2017, he was a semifinalist for the Brooks Wallace Award, given to the country’s best shortstop.

POSITION: INFIELDER | DOB: 3/12/02 | HEIGHT: 5’10” | WEIGHT: 181 HOMETOWN: CARACAS, VENZUELA Looking to follow in the big-league footsteps of both his father and older brother (Ronald Sr. and Jr.), Acuna became the first player born in 2002 to play for the RoughRiders. The Venezuela native stole 44 bases in 2021 for Low-A Down East while clubbing 12 home runs. Before his promotion to Frisco, the No. 7 prospect in the system hit .317/.417/.483 with High-A Hickory.

Bradford missed most of his 2019 season after undergoing surgery for Thoracic Outlet Syndrome – which causes the nerves that pass between the collarbone and first rib to become compressed. in 7 starts with the riders, bradford ended his season with 41 STRIKEOUTS IN 34.2 INNINGS OF WORK. his 128 strikeouts led all texas farmhands in 2021.

A CONVERTED INFIELDER, CHURCH HELD HITTERS TO A .210 AVERAGE IN 27.1 INNINGS IN 2021 WITH 49 STRIKEOUTS IN HICKORY. THOSE NUMBERS IMPROVED IN 2022, AS CHURCH BEGAN THE YEAR BACK WITH THE CRAWDADS AND STRUCK OUT 57 BATTERS TO JUST SEVEN WALKS IN 34 INNINGS BEFORE EARNING THE PROMOTION TO FRISCO AT 21.

POSITION: INFIELDER | DOB: 6/17/97 | HEIGHT: 5’11” | WEIGHT: 200 HOMETOWN: MOBILE, AL After being picked up by the Rangers in the 19th round of the 2019 draft out of mississippi college, crim hit .335/.398/.528 with Short Season Low-A Spokane and he continued that in 2021, bashing 20 homers while hitting .300 with Hickory before being promoted to Frisco. in the 2021-22 offseason, crim took home the batting title for the liga de beisbol profesional roberto clemente (lbprc) after finishing with a .402 batting average. crim’s milb career ops sits at a .923 in 163 games.

POSITION: PITCHER | DOB: 10/12/96 | HEIGHT: 6’5” | WEIGHT: 230 HOMETOWN: OKLAHOMA CITY, OK corbett continues his climb through the rangers system after making his frisco debut in june of this year. corbett has 116 strikeouts in his 68 minor league game career. west texas a&m graduate, corbett recorded 27 wins and only 4 losses throughout his college career. he is continuing this progression as he made his professional debut in 2021.

The final infielder of three to come through Frisco that came to Texas in the 2021 Joey Gallo deal with New York, Hauver has been an on-base machine in the minors. Originally drafted by the Yankees out of Arizona State in the 2020 third round, the outfielder started 2022 with High-A Hickory. With the Crawdads, he hit .217/.376/.413 over 82 games while clubbing 13 home runs and driving in 58 runs. When he was promoted to Frisco, Hauver led the South Atlantic League in walks (69).

POSITION: OUTFIELDER | DOB: 7/8/99 | HEIGHT: 6’2” | WEIGHT: 185 HOMETOWN: TAMPA, FL dustin harris begins the 2022 season in a riders uniform, making his double-a debut. entering as the organization’s tom grieve minor league player of the year, harris knocked 20 hr and swiped 25 bags on 27 tries. listed as an outfielder, harris has gained all of his experience since 2019 as a corner infielder, and holds a career fielding percentage of .992 at first. in 50 games in down east, harris didn’t commit a single error in 357 chances at first base.

KEVIN GOWDY GOWDY WAS A SECOND ROUND SELECTION BY THE PHILLIES IN 2016, BUT ONLY MADE FOUR APPEARANCES BY THE START OF 2019, DUE TO A TOMMY JOHN SURGERY IN AUGUST 2017. THE RANGERS ACQUIRED GOWDY FROM PHILADELPHIA, ALONG WITH TWO OTHER RIGHTY PITCH ERS, IN THE CROUSE/KENNEDY/GIBSON TRADE IN JULY 2021.

POSITION: INFIELDER | DOB: 3/2/99 | HEIGHT: 6’0” | WEIGHT: 205 HOMETOWN: HUNTSVILLE, AL After Foscue was not drafted out of Virgil Grissom High School, he attended Mississippi State, where he hit .297/.380/.482 over three seasons. In 2020, he was drafted 14th overall by the Rangers, making him the high est second baseman ever drafted out of Mississippi State. Before being promoted to Frisco in 2021, Foscue hit home runs in seven-straight games for the Hickory Crawdads. He entered the year as the No. 5 prospect in the Rangers system according to MLB.com.

POSITION: PITCHER | DOB: 4/21/00 | HEIGHT: 6’1” | WEIGHT: 205 HOMETOWN: SUMMIT, NJ after high school, leiter’s name was called by the new york yankees in the 20th round of the 2019 draft, but deferred to a college career at vanderbilt for two years. leiter dominated his four appearances before covid shut down 2020, striking out 22 batters in 15.2 innings. the following season was what 2020 promised - leiter finished tied (with teammate kumar rocker) for most strikeouts in the country (179) in 18 starts, earning a unanimous first-team all-american nod and the rangers top draft pick in 2021.

POSITION: CATCHER | DOB: 11/27/96 | HEIGHT: 5’11” | WEIGHT: 198 HOMETOWN: WALKERTON, IN Kapers was a 17-round selection by the Rangers in 2018 out of Valparaiso as a defense-first catcher. In 2022, his bat came around in High-A Hickory, hitting a career-best eight home runs over 37 games (also the most games played in a season) while batting .261/.321/.496. High School teammates with current RoughRiders outfielder Josh Stowers at Mt. Carmel in Chicago, Kapers helped the Caravan to a 103-18 in his three seasons behind the plate.

POSITION: PITCHER | DOB: 2/24/98 | HEIGHT: 6’3” | WEIGHT: 208 HOMETOWN: HENRICO, VA Kent was picked from Virginia Military Institute in the ninth round of the 2019 draft by the Rangers after a wonderful career with the Keydets. To start 2021, Kent went 6-2 over 14 games with a 2.83 ERA, striking out 78 over 60.1 innings with High-A Hickory before being promoted to Frisco. in his six games with the riders, kent waived 39 batters in 28.2 innings.

POSITION: PITCHER | DOB: 9/4/97 | HEIGHT: 6’2” | WEIGHT: 225 HOMETOWN: MESA, AZ nordlin played his college ball at junior college gateway (az) before being drafted in the 13th round by the rangers in 2017. Nordlin broke the complex in 2018, striking out 79 batters in 68.1 innings for the Spokane Indians in 2018. Spending last season in Hickory, Nordlin upped his strikeouts to 87 in 20 appearances, and makes his Double-A debut with the Riders in 2022.

SCOTT KAPERS

The newest member of the Texas Rangers organization, Kelly came over to Texas in a Trade Deadline deal with the Milwaukee Brewers on Au gust 2nd, 2022. The trade sent former RoughRiders pitcher Matt Bush to Milwaukee for Kelly and infielder Mark Mathias. Kelly led the Midwest League in strikeout rate and was second in total strikeouts at the time of the trade with High-A Wisconsin while owning a 3.86 ERA over 19 starts. Kelly was drafted by the Brewers in the second round of the 2019 draft and immediately became the Rangers No. 14 prospect.

POSITION: INFIELDERS | DOB: 5/26/00 | HEIGHT: 6’1” | WEIGHT: 195 HOMETOWN: PEORIA,AZ texas drafted high-schooler jonathan ornelas out of kellis hs (glendale, az) in the third round of 2018’s draft. ornelas averaged .302 at the plate in the complex league in his draft year, finishing 48 games with an .848 ops. ornelas averaged a .259 in his last two seasons spent with hickory, and makes his double-a debut in 2022 with frisco as a 21-year-old.

POSITION: CATCHER | DOB: 3/11/93 | HEIGHT: 5’10” | WEIGHT: 185 HOMETOWN: CALGARY, CAN Pronounced pro-SESH-en, the 28-year-old has seen plenty of action over his seven seasons in professional baseball. Originally drafted by the Red Sox in the 14th round of the 2014 draft out of Northern Kentucky, Procyshen spent five seasons in the Boston organization before heading to the Dodgers’ High-A and Double-A in 2019. Procyshen has logged 532 inning behind the plate.

POSITION: PITCHER | DOB: 12/20/96 | HEIGHT: 6’0” | WEIGHT: 190 HOMETOWN: INDIANAPOLIS, IN polley was assigned to the riders in june from hickory crawdads where he had a 6-2 record with 33 strikeouts in 27 innings. polley attended indiana state where he earned all-mvc honorable mention and finished his senior year with an 8-1 record including three complete games and two combined shutouts.

POSITION: PITCHER | DOB: 9/15/97 | HEIGHT: 6’4” | WEIGHT: 222 HOMETOWN: LONGVIEW, TX slaten continues his climb through the rangers system after making his high-a debut in hickory last year. in 19 starts, slaten struck out 110 batters in 82.1 innings. a native of longview, tx, slaten’s name was called by the rangers in the 3rd round of the 2019 draft out of new mexico, following 90 strikeouts in 75.1 in 2018-19 with the lobos.

After a 2019 in spokane and hickory, Starr dominated with down east to begin 2021, holding batters to an .059 average in five outings. the right-hander finished with hickory, waiving 52 batters in 33.1 innings.

POSITION: OUTFIELDER | DOB: 2/25/97 | HEIGHT: 6’0” | WEIGHT: 200 HOMETOWN: CHICAGO, IL a former Louisville Cardinal, stowers was acquired from the new york yankees in april 2021 for former riders infielder rougned odor. Stowers was a Third-Team All-American in 2018 at Louisville after hitting .336 with nine home runs, 60 RBIs and 36 steals. Stowers mashed 20 homers in 89 games with the riders last season.

POSITION: PITCHER | DOB: 5/31/96 | HEIGHT: 6’6” | WEIGHT: 195 HOMETOWN: LAKEWOOD, CA Tiedemann began the 2021 season with High-A Hickory before being promoted to Frisco in early August. After being selected by the Rangers in the eighth round of the 2016 draft out of Long Beach City College, Tiedemann pitched with Short Season Low-A Spokane in 2017 and 2018 before spending 2019 with the crawdads. After being a starter his entire career, Tiedemann moved to the bullpen in 2019.

POSITION: OUTFIELDER | DOB: 4/25/97 | HEIGHT: 6’1” | WEIGHT: 215 HOMETOWN: EUGENE, OR drafted in the fifth round out of san jose state, strahm ranked as a northwest league mid-season all-star in 2019 before the call up to high-a last season in hickory. strahm slashed .281/.388/.448 with the crawdads, only playing in 50 games dealing with injury.

POSITION: PITCHER | DOB: 6/6/97 | HEIGHT: 6’1” | WEIGHT: 220 HOMETOWN: FLAGSTAFF, AZ weems joined the rangers organization in 2020 in an off-season trade that sent lance lynn to the white sox in exchange for weems and dane dunning. his lone season with the rangers, weems punched out 124 batters in 85.1 innings, allowing 27 walks. weems minor-league career has seen a k/9 rate of 12.23, and makes his double-a debut in frisco in 2022.

POSITION: PITCHER | DOB: 1/7/96 | HEIGHT: 6’6” | WEIGHT: 235 HOMETOWN: HOLLAND, MI drafted by the texas rangers in 2018, wolfram has worked his way up through the organization and was assigned to the riders in march. wolfram was selected in the 17th round in 2015 by the detroit tigers, but decided to forgo professional baseball at the time and continued on to central michigan university and later transferring to davenport university where he held many school records.

POSITION: PITCHER | DOB: 8/09/99 | HEIGHT: 6’3” | WEIGHT: 199 HOMETOWN: MOUNT ULLA, NC white was a three-sport star in highschool and drew college football interest before being drafted by the texas rangers in the 2018 draft. White had “tommy john” surgery back in may of 2019 and made his official professional debut in may of 2021. White has a 12-3 milb record and made his debut in double-a frisco on friday, july 1st.

POSITION: OUTFIELDER | DOB: 6/24/00 | HEIGHT: 6’0” | WEIGHT: 193 HOMETOWN: KAISER, OR The Oregon native showed off his offensive skills at the University of Oregon, setting a program record in on-base percentage (.465) his final year before being drafted in the 2nd round by the Rangers in 2021. Playing in just 22 games during his professional debut last season, Zavala hit .293/.419/.400/.819. To begin 2022, Zavala hit .278/.424/.441/.865 over 81 games with High-A Hickory while leading the South Atlantic League in walks and OBP.

POSITION: PITCHER | DOB: 7/24/93 | HEIGHT: 6’0” | WEIGHT: 170 HOMETOWN: DOWNERS GROVE, IL Wivinis (pronounced WIH-vin-iss) went undrafted out of Eastern Illi nois before being signed out of the Independent Baseball ranks by the Yankees organization in 2017. Following three seasons with the New York organization and going 2-5 with a 2.50 ERA over 37 outings in 2019, the Rangers selected him in the 2020 Minor League Rule 5 Draft. Wivinis joins the RoughRiders after undergoing his second “Tommy John” surgery that forced him to miss the 2021 season.
