DANE ACKER

POSITION: PITCHER | DOB: 4/1/99 | HEIGHT: 6’2” | WEIGHT: 189 HOMETOWN: COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS

Acker finished his college career at the University of Oklahoma and was drafted by the Oakland Athletics in the 4th round in 2020. He was traded to the Texas Rangers before his professional debut and now enters his fourth season with the Rangers organization. The Rangers No. 28 prospect recorded a 2.74 ERA with the RoughRiders across 12 starts in 2023.

MAXIMO ACOSTA

POSITION: INFIELDER | DOB: 10/29/02 | HEIGHT: 6’1” | WEIGHT: 187

HOMETOWN: CARACAS, VENEZUELA

An infielder from Caracas, Venezuela, Maximo Acosta signed with the Rangers in 2019. He did not appear in a game for the organization until playing for the ACL Rangers in 2021. In 2022 he played 107 games for Single-A Down East and hit .260 last season over 110 games for High-A Hickory, posting career highs in hits (112), homers (11) and RBI (60) last season. Acosta has moved up a level each season and makes his Double-A debut for the RoughRiders in 2024.

BEN ANDERSON

POSITION: PITCHER | DOB: 5/2/98 | HEIGHT: 6’4” | WEIGHT: 200

HOMETOWN: REXFORD, N.Y.

The 6-foot-4 righty was a 2019 13th round pick of the Texas Rangers and enters his fifth season with the organization. Ben’s twin brother, Ian Anderson has been part of the Atlanta Braves starting rotation since 2020, but missed all of 2023 with an injury. 2024 will mark Ben’s first season in Double-A after tossing a total of just 10.2 innings last season between the ACL and High-A. Across 42 career professional appearances (19 starts), Anderson has posted an 8-5 record with a 3.87 ERA.

MITCH BRATT

POSITION: PITCHER | DOB: 7/3/03 | HEIGHT: 6’1” | WEIGHT: 190

HOMETOWN: NEWMARKET, ON, CANADA

A native of Toronto, Bratt was drafted by the Rangers in the fifth round of the 2021 draft. He was the youngest regular starter in the Single-A Carolina and High-A South Atlantic Leagues the past two seasons, as well as the youngest player (19) on Canada’s 2023 World Baseball Classic team. The 21-year-old is ranked as the Rangers No.21 prospect and the lefty strike thrower works with a fastball, slider and changeup.

BRYAN CHI

POSITION: PITCHER | DOB: 3/22/99 | HEIGHT: 6’0” | WEIGHT: 205

HOMETOWN: HAVANA, CUBA

A native of Cuba, Chi signed with the Rangers in July of 2022, pitching for the organization in the Dominican Summer League before opening the 2023 season with the ACL Rangers. He was promoted to Single-A Down East and finished his 2023 campaign with a 3-3 record paired with a 3.51 ERA. He opened this season with High-A Hickory, working in four games without allowing an earned run. 2024 marks the first season for Chi at the Double-A level.

SETH CLARK

POSITION: PITCHER | DOB: 11/18/99 | HEIGHT: 6’4” | WEIGHT: 220

HOMETOWN: LOGANVILLE, GA.

The Rangers signed Clark in July of 2022 after going undrafted out of Georgia State. In 2022 he tossed just one scoreless inning and opened 2023 in Single-A Down East where he didn’t allow a run across seven games before spinning 46.2 innings for High-A Hickory on his way to a 4-1 record and 2.53 ERA. The 24-yearold lefty will make his Double-A debut this season.

GAVIN COLLYER

POSITION: PITCHER | DOB: 5/12/01 | HEIGHT: 6’1” | WEIGHT: 165

HOMETOWN: LAWRENCEVILLE, GA.

A 12th round selection by the Rangers out of Mountain View High School in Lawrenceville, Georgia, Collyer has converted from a starter to a reliever. In his first professional season, the former Alabama commit struggled. The righty has found success since becoming a reliever following the 2022 season. He opened this year with High-A Hickory where in 40 outings he recorded a 3.24 ERA to go along with a 3-3 record.

RICKY DEVITO

POSITION: PITCHER | DOB: 8/21/98 | HEIGHT: 6’3” | WEIGHT: 195

HOMETOWN: STATEN ISLAND, N.Y.

DeVito enters his second season in the Rangers organization after being traded by the Pittsburgh Pirates last March. It wasn’t the first time a trade has sent DeVito to a new team as the former 8th round Atlanta Braves selection was acquired by the Pirates at the 2021 trade deadline. He is originally from Staten Island, New York and played his college baseball at Seton Hall. DeVito appeared in just 4 games for the RoughRiders last season, but tossed 26.2 innings for High-A Hickory on his way to a 5.03 ERA across three levels in 2023.

KOHL DRAKE

POSITION: PITCHER | DOB: 7/17/00 | HEIGHT: 6’5” | WEIGHT: 220

HOMETOWN: OREM, UTAH

Originally from Orem, Utah, Drake played his college baseball at Walters State CC in Tennessee. The left-hander was an 11th round selection by the Rangers in 2022. In 2023 he made his professional debut, pitching in rookie ball and for Single-A Down East. The 24-year-old made his Double-A debut with the RoughRiders in April, but has split most of his season in Single-A and with High-A Hickory. He boasts a 7-5 record with a 2.48 ERA in 19 games (15 starts) across three levels this season.

CODY FREEMAN

POSITION: INFIELDER | DOB: 1/5/01 | HEIGHT: 5’10” | WEIGHT: 180

HOMETOWN: POMONA, CALIF.

The Rangers 4th round selection in 2019, Freeman enters his fifth season with the organization. The Pomona, California native was committed to play college baseball at Baylor before signing with the Rangers out of Etiwanda H.S. in Rancho Cucamonga, California. The infielder made his Double-A debut with the RoughRiders last season, playing just one game on September 16 after he appeared in 94 games for High-A Down Hickory, batting .236 with 55 RBIs.

SKYLAR HALES

POSITION: PITCHER | DOB: 10/24/01 | HEIGHT: 6’4” | WEIGHT: 220

HOMETOWN: RENO, NEV.

The Rangers used their fourth round pick in 2023 on the righty from Santa Clara. Originally from Reno, Nevada, Hales grew up wanting to play college basketball, but elected to stick with baseball. During his collegiate career his fastball was clocked over 100 mph and the reliever has carried that heater into professional baseball. Over his time with Hickory this season, Skylar posted a 1-0 record and a 4.39 ERA. Entering his time with Frisco, Hales has appeared in just 27 professional games.

THEO HARDY

POSITION: INFIELDER | DOB: 11/27/01 | HEIGHT: 6’1” | WEIGHT: 185 HOMETOWN: BERKELEY, CALIF.

The native of Berkeley, California attended San Jose State to play college baseball. Following his senior season, the switch hitting infielder went unsigned and elected to play with an independent baseball team in the Pioneer League called the Idaho Falls Chukars. Hardy was signed by the Rangers in July of this season and played 11 games with High-A Hickory, hitting .207 across 11 games before being promoted to Frisco.

JOSH HATCHER

POSITION: OUTFIELDER | DOB: 9/3/98 | HEIGHT: 6’2” | WEIGHT: 200

HOMETOWN: ALBANY, GA.

Drafted in 2022, Hatcher enters his second full season in the Texas Rangers organization in 2024. He was born in Albany, Georgia and went to highschool in nearby Leesburg, eventually playing four years at Mississippi State. After winning the College World Series in 2021, Hatcher returned to his home state and played for Kennesaw State in 2022. The Rangers selected him in the 10th round after the season and Hatcher saw his first action in Frisco in June of 2023, batting .261 with seven homers over 50 games.

COOPER JOHNSON

POSITION: CATCHER | DOB: 4/25/98 | HEIGHT: 6’1” | WEIGHT: 209

HOMETOWN: LOS ANGELES, CALIF.

A 2019 6th round pick by the Detroit Tigers, Cooper Johnson was signed by the Rangers at the beginning of 2023 after being released by the Tigers following the 2022 season. The Los Angeles, California native grew up in Illinois and elected to attend Ole Miss rather than sign with the Reds after being drafted in 2016. Johnson appeared in just five games for the RoughRiders last season, but played 42 games at High-A Hickory in 2023.

JACKSON KELLEY

POSITION: PITCHER | DOB: 4/26/00 | HEIGHT: 6’0” | WEIGHT: 185

HOMETOWN: MARIETTA, GA

The 24-year-old originally from Marrieta, Georgia signed with the Rangers in 2022 after being selected in the 12th round. A righty sidearmer has climbed the ranks quickly with his career 2.79 ERA. He made a scoreless debut for the Riders on July 31st, spinning 2.0 scoreless innings against San Antonio.

LARSON KINDREICH

POSITION: PITCHER | DOB: 6/21/99 | HEIGHT: 6’4” | WEIGHT: 210

HOMETOWN: MEDFORD, ORE.

An eighth round selection in 2021 by the Rangers, Kindreich is originally from Medford, Oregon and elected to play college ball at Biola University in California. Should he make it to the big leagues he would be the fifth player from Biola to make a MLB debut and the first since Josh Staumont in 2019. The left-handed pitcher found success in his first two seasons of professional baseball, but struggled in 2023 with Hickory, posting a 5.14 ERA. This season he has allowed just three runs across 12 outings (1.62 ERA) in High-A.

NICK KRAUTH

POSITION: PITCHER | DOB: 9/6/99 | HEIGHT: 6’3” | WEIGHT: 170

HOMETOWN: CONCORD, CALIF.

A 6-foot-3 right-handed pitcher, Krauth crossed from one corner of the country to the other before settling down with the Rangers organization. Originally from Concord, California, Krauth transferred from New Mexico to UConn. A terrific start to the 2020 college season - one earned run in 24.2 innings - was enough to earn a deal with the Rangers after the NCAA season was cut short. He spent 2021 with Down East, 2022 with Hickory and was elevated to Double-A for the first time in 2023. He led the Riders last season in wins by a starter (5) and innings pitched (106.1).

RYAN LOBUS

POSITION: PITCHER | DOB: 9/8/00 | HEIGHT: 6’2” | WEIGHT: 180

HOMETOWN: MARIETTA, GA.

The 24-year-old righty from Marrieta, Georgia originally went to junior college as a position player, but quickly switched into a pitching role. After following in his brother’s footsteps to pitch at Mercer, Lobus signed with the Rangers in 2023. He began his professional career in rookie ball before opening 2024 with Down East. The righty boasted a 7-5 record with a 2.86 ERA across Single-A and High-A. He made his debut for Frisco on September 4th, earning a six-out save against Wichita.

BRYAN MAGDALENO

POSITION: PITCHER | DOB: 2/22/01 | HEIGHT: 6’1” | WEIGHT: 202

HOMETOWN: SANTO DOMINGO, D.R.

Magdelano hails from Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic and signed with the Rangers in 2019. The left-handed reliever opened his 2024 campaign with the Down East Wood Ducks, posting a 1.33 ERA across 35 appearances before being sent to High-A. With Hickory, he delivered seven scoreless appearances and was quickly sent to Frisco. At the time of his promotion, he had made 13 consecutive scoreless outings.

DANIEL MATEO

POSITION: OUTFIELDER | DOB: 7/03/01 | HEIGHT: 6’1” | WEIGHT: 165

HOMETOWN: BOCA CHICA, D.R.

The 22-year-old outfielder from Boca Chica, Dominican Republic signed with the Rangers at 18-years-old in 2019 and has steadily climbed the ranks. In over 300 games within the Rangers organization, Mateo has posted a .272 average with 25 homers, 169 RBI and 109 stolen bases. He made his Double-A debut with the RoughRiders this season after batting .262 across 14 games for High-A Hickory to begin his 2024 campaign.

LUIS MIESES

POSITION: OUTFIELDER | DOB: 5/31/00 | HEIGHT: 6’3” | WEIGHT: 180

HOMETOWN: SANTO DOMINGO, DR

Mieses inked an international deal with the White Sox in 2016, making his professional debut shortly after. The outfielder elected free agency in 2023 before signing with the Texas Rangers. At High-A Hickory, Luis hit .270 with 40 RBI, earning a promotion to Double-A. He made his debut for Frisco on July 31st and mashed his first homer with the Riders on August 4th.

TUCKER MITCHELL

POSITION: CATCHER | DOB: 2/10/01 | HEIGHT: 6’1” | WEIGHT: 210

HOMETOWN: IRVING, TEXAS

The 23-year-old catcher is a native of Irving, Texas and was drafted by the Rangers in the 14th round of the 2021 draft out of the State College of Florida. After hitting .282 last season for Low-A Down East and High-A Hickory, he opened this season in Arizona and hit .338. In 39 games prior to joining Frisco he has tallied 7 homers and 32 RBI.

ABIMELEC ORTIZ

POSITION: INFIELDER | DOB: 2/22/02 | HEIGHT: 6’0” | WEIGHT: 230

HOMETOWN: BAYAMON, PUERTO RICO

Touted as the Rangers No. 12 prospect entering the 2024 season, Ortiz brings power to the RoughRiders lineup this season. He attended high school at the Carlos Beltran Baseball Academy before playing college ball at Florida SouthWestern State JC. The lefty bat from Bayamon, Puerto Rico signed with the Rangers in 2021. In his second full season in the organization he collected High-A South Atlantic League MVP and Tom Grieve Rangers Minor League Player of the Year accolades. In 2023, Ortiz split time between Single-A Down East and High-A Hickory where he posted a .294 average with 33 homers and led the minors in slugging percentage (.619).

ALEJANDRO OSUNA

POSITION: OUTFIELDER | DOB: 10/10/02 | HEIGHT: 6’0” | WEIGHT: 185

HOMETOWN: AHOME, SI, MEXICO

Osuna, a native of Mexico, became one of the youngest players in the Texas League at just 21-years-old. He was originally signed by the Rangers in October of 2021, making his first professional appearance in 2021. Osuna begane the season with High-A Hickory and in his final game with the Crawdads went 5-for5 with 5 RBI on his way to hitting for the cycle. His nine homers for Hickory this season matched a career-high.

ANDY RODRIGUEZ

POSITION: PITCHER | DOB: 12/8/98 | HEIGHT: 6’1” | WEIGHT: 165

HOMETOWN: HAVANA, CUBA

Rodriguez, a right-handed pitcher hailing from Havana, Cuba was signed by the Rangers in 2022 after attending Miami Dade Community College. During his first season with the organization last year, he dominated at the High-A level. Across 32 relief appearances in High-A Hickory, Rodriguez snagged 59 strikeouts in 47.1 innings of work on his way to a 2.66 ERA and a 4-1 record. The 25-year-old was called up to Frisco, where he pitched in six games for the RoughRiders.

KEYBER RODRIGUEZ

POSITION: INFIELDER | DOB: 10/24/00 | HEIGHT: 5’8” | WEIGHT: 178

HOMETOWN: MARACAY, VENEZUELA

Rodriguez enters his sixth minor league season, signing with the Rangers out of Venezuela and starting in the Dominican Summer League in 2018. He was called up to Double-A in 2023 after Luisangel Acuña was dealt to the Mets organization midseason, and Rodriguez now dons the same #3 jersey that his fellow Venezuelan wore with Frisco. He debuted with the RoughRiders on July 30th, notching an RBI triple in his first game. Keyber finished the season with six extra-base hits over his final 15 games of 2023.

ALEJANDRO ROSARIO

POSITION: PITCHER | DOB: 1/6/02 | HEIGHT: 6’1” | WEIGHT: 182

HOMETOWN: MIAMI, FLA.

A native of Miami, Florida, Rosario slates at the Rangers No. 3 prospect in the organization. Though he logged a 6.53 ERA in three seasons with the Miami Hurricanes, the Rangers saw enough potential to draft him in the fifth round in 2023. After making some changes to his delivery and the manner in which he deploys his pitches, the righty saw a drastic change in K/BB ratio which has allowed him to soar up the rankings. Across Single-A and High-A this season he has posted a 2.25 ERA while fanning 129 batters in just 88.1 innings.

WINSTON SANTOS

POSITION: PITCHER | DOB: 4/15/02 | HEIGHT: 6’0” | WEIGHT: 160

HOMETOWN: PAYITA, D.R.

The 22-year-old flamethrower from the Dominican Republic made his Double-A debut on June 28th for the RoughRiders after working his way to a 6-3 record to go along with a 2.80 ERA for High-A Hickory. Santos, a right-handed starter was originally signed in 2019 by the Rangers, making his professional debut in 2021 in the Dominican Summer League with the DSL Rangers. He has tallied over 300 strikeouts in just 70 career appearances.

JOSH STEPHAN

POSITION: PITCHER | DOB: 11/1/01 | HEIGHT: 6’3” | WEIGHT: 185

HOMETOWN: DESOTO, TEXAS

A 2020 non-drafted free agent signee for the Rangers out of DeSoto, Texas, Josh Stephan enters his fourth season with the organization. Stephan has progressed at a consistent rate, playing for two teams each season of his career. He made his Double-A debut last July, but missed the remainder of the season due to injury. The majority of his work last season came in 12 games (11 starts) for High-A Hickory where he boasted a 6-3 record and a 2.17 ERA which was enough to earn a postseason All-Star accolade.

EMILIANO TEODO

POSITION: PITCHER | DOB: 2/14/01 | HEIGHT: 6’1” | WEIGHT: 165

HOMETOWN: BARAHONA, D.R.

The 6-foot-1 native of the Dominican Republic, Teodo is tabbed as the Rangers No. 16 prospect. He signed with the Rangers in 2020 and has quickly found success with his fastball that regularly reaches triple digits and a power breaking ball. Teodo worked his way to a 5-3 record with a 4.52 ERA in High-A Hickory last season where he fanned 84 batters in 61.2 innings. The righty was named the Arizona Fall League’s Reliever of the Year after leading the league with five saves. He did not allow a run over eight appearances (11.0 innings), surrendering just three hits while striking out 19 and posting a 0.55 WHIP.

SEBASTIAN WALCOTT

POSITION: INFIELDER | DOB: 3/14/06 | HEIGHT: 6’4” | WEIGHT: 190

HOMETOWN: NASSAU, BAHAMAS

Ranked as the Rangers top prospect and the No. 37 prospect in all of baseball, Walcott is one of the youngest prospects in all of the minor leagues. The power hitting infielder is originally from Nassau, Bahamas. He spent just nine games in the Rookie-level Dominican Summer League before making his U.S. debut last summer, then finished his pro debut in High-A at age 17. In 2024 with High-A Hickory, Walcott played primarily shortstop as he hit .261 with 10 homers in 116 games. On September 10th, he became the youngest player to appear in a game in RoughRiders franchise history.

AARON ZAVALA

POSITION: OUTFIELDER | DOB: 6/24/00 | HEIGHT: 6’0” | WEIGHT: 193

HOMETOWN: KEIZER, ORE.

The Oregon native showed off his offensive skills at the University of Oregon, setting a program record in on-base percentage (.465) in his final year before being drafted by the Rangers in the 2nd round in 2021. After batting .278 over 81 games with High-A Hickory while leading the South Atlantic League in walks and OBP in 2022, Zavala was added to the RoughRiders roster to end the year. The Rangers No. 21 prospect played solely for Frisco last season, appearing in 95 games.
