Shrimp and Grits
• 1 lb large shrimp, peeled & deveined
• 1 cup stone-ground grits
• 2 cups sharp cheddar, shredded
• 4 strips bacon, chopped
• 3 garlic cloves, minced
• 1 cup chicken broth
• 2 tbsp butter
• 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
• Salt, pepper, hot sauce to taste
• Fresh parsley for garnish

DIRECTIONS
1. Cook grits per package directions. Stir in butter and cheddar until creamy.
2. Fry bacon until crisp. Remove and sauté garlic in drippings 1 min.
3. Add shrimp and broth; cook 3–4 min until shrimp are pink.
4. Stir in lemon juice. Season with salt, pepper, and hot sauce.
5. Spoon shrimp over cheesy grits. Top with bacon and parsley. Enjoy!
