I KNOW THAT THE CHOICES we make today will create the future that we are dreaming of. Hannah Walz, West Hempstead High School I HOPE THAT AS A NATION, we will be able to emerge from the political and economic turmoil we are currently experiencing having learned valuable lessons and grown as a result. I hope that the people and opportunities that I and other students in this graduating class will encounter in college help us reach our full potentials, rather than putting us on a bad path. Finally, I hope that I’m able to learn from whatever failures I’ll inevitably face in the future instead of getting discouraged and losing sight of my goal, since I have seen and heard of many individuals who let their shortcomings keep them down, and I’d like to avoid such a fate.
