Greek fest fun brings I.P. together

The Panaghia of Island Park Greek Spring Festival brought together hundreds of attendees from May 1 to May 4 for four days of food, music, and fellowship under the big tent. Volunteers in bright blue “Panaghia Festival” shirts worked alongside local police officers to ensure a welcoming and safe environment for all.

Families enjoyed traditional Greek cuisine, lively music, dancing, and games, while visitors browsed vendor booths and connected with community members. The festival, organized by the Panaghia Greek Orthodox Church, highlighted both cultural pride and civic spirit.

The festival, now a spring tradition in Island Park, was open Thursday and Friday evenings and all day on Saturday and Sunday. For more about the church and future events, visit www.panaghiaip.org or call 516432-4086.
