Our kids, our future W
elcome to the class of 2030! As these irresistible kids embark on their school journey with hope and excitement, take a look at the next generation who will make their mark on our communities, the nation and the
world. This is a magical time to be cherished — and that’s what the K-Kids commemorative section is all about. Enjoy the faces and the enthusiasm of your children as they start their school years. These are photos to look back and reflect on for years to come — and share with these kindergarteners when they reach adulthood! The Herald extends a hearty thank you to the Merrick Union Free School District for its enthusiastic support and extensive assistance with the project. We wish to acknowledge Dr. Dominick Palma, Superintendent; Kerri Galante, Birch Elementary School principal; Dana Bermas, Chatterton Elementary School principal; Libby Trencheny, Levy Lakeside School principal; and, of course, all of the wonderful teachers and staff who helped us out. With much excitement, the Herald celebrates this year’s Kindergarten class and introduces everyone to these delightful children.
