Our kids, our future
We are proud to celebrate the next generation that will shape our neighborhoods, schools and communities for years to come. Take a look at these delightful young students who begin their school journey with excitement, curiosity and endless potential.
The kindergarten years are filled with important firsts — first classrooms, first friendships, first lessons and unforgettable memories. This special K-Kids commemorative section captures a moment in time that families will treasure in the years ahead as these children grow, learn and discover who they are — on their way to adulthood.
Within these pages, you’ll find smiling faces, joyful personalities and the enthusiasm that makes our community so special. We are sure parents, grandparents, teachers and loved ones will treasure this opportunity to recognize and celebrate these remarkable children as they begin an exciting new chapter.
We also extend our sincere appreciation to the superintendents, principals, teachers and school staff whose dedication, encouragement and support help every child thrive. Their commitment to education and to our community makes K-Kids possible.
The Herald is honored to celebrate this year’s kindergarten class and share in the excitement of this milestone with our readers. Congratulations to the Class of 2038 — your future is just beginning! with

the Experts Agree
At Mount Sinai South Nassau, patient safety isn’t just a priority—it’s a standard, one we work on every day. And the experts agree.
We’ve earned national recognition for patient safety, including an “A” Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group and the Healthgrades Patient Safety Excellence Award.
That means better outcomes for our patients with lower risk of infections or hospital acquired conditions.
When it comes to your health, nothing matters more than knowing you’re in a place where patient safety matters most.
