Our kids, our future W
elcome to the class of 2031! As these irresistible kids begin their school journey with hope and excitement, take a look at the next generation who will make their mark on our communities, the nation and the world. This is a magical time to be cherished — and that’s what the K-Kids commemorative section is all about. Enjoy the faces and the enthusiasm of your children as they embark on their school years. These are photos to look back and reflect on for years to come — and share with your kindergarteners when they reach adulthood! The Herald extends a hearty thank you to the Elmont Union Free School District for its enthusiastic support and extensive assistance with the project. We wish to acknowledge Al Harper, Superintendent; Shawnée Warfield Alden Terrace School principal; Stacia Walfall, Clara H. Carlson School principal; Mary Natoli, Covert Avenue School principal; Amy Buchan Buchanan, Dutch Broadway School principal; Marshall J. Zucker, Gotham Avenue School principal; Hope Kranidis, Stewart Manor School principal, and, of course, all of the wonderwonderful teachers and staff who helped us out. With much excitement, the Herald celebrates this year’s incoming Kindergarten class and introduces everyone to these delightful children.
