Town of O.B. officials claim new bureau will be beneficial By WILL SHEELINE wsheeline@liherald.com
The Town of Oyster Bay is moving forward with its plan to create a Bureau of Administrative Adjudication, a court that would cover misdemeanor level cases. According to representatives from town government, the new bureau would cut through red tape and reduce the time it takes to hear cases. They also claim it will make it easier for residents to comfortably report neighborhood issues without fear of social repercussions or physical reprisal. It will also eliminate CONTINUED ON PAGE 16
