Spring has sprung – and after a particularly chilly winter, I’m absolutely loving this sunshine and 75-degree vibe. Beyond flowers in bloom and perfect patio temperatures, another way to know its springtime in Scottsdale is the plethora of events and activities happening this month.

The lively energy is palpable, and we’re here to fill your calendar. Flip to page 72 for our annual March Madness feature, which showcases a wide range of activities, from sporting events (we’re looking at you, NBA and MLB!) and adventures for outdoor enthusiasts to happenings in the art world and some exciting places to sip and savor.

For even more must-do events, we’re shifting gears to galas and other charitable gatherings. This starts with one of the biggest events of the year: Celebrity Fight Night. Hosted by Gateway for Cancer Research, this year’s star-studded gala will be one to remember. This is partially thanks to Nile Rodgers (page 48), this month’s cover star and one of the stellar performers at the soiree this year. We bet you’ll also love the Saguaros’ upcoming Cards for Kids gambling event (page 68), and those with a need for speed should head to Glendale for the Mecum Auction (page 53). Additional highlighted happenings can be found on pages 68 and 70.

For more spring things: enjoy the best ways to shake of the winter blues as we head into the new season (page 66), women-owned businesses to support on International Women’s Day (page 64), and canned wines and cocktails that are perfect warm-weather patio sips (page 106).

In the way of food, check out the new Sunset Wine Bistro (page 122), delicious duck dishes at local restaurants (page 110), and one of the new menu items at Fat Ox (page 107).

Enjoy all that this month brings, whether you’re catching some famous Arizona rays or headed out after-dark for one of the many exciting events.

All my best, Gabby
