Those in the market for a new luxe pad can now add another hotspot to their list: Silver Sky. The custom home enclave, from Scottsdale-based Silver Sky Development, will be located on Coconino Road and Mockingbird Lane in Paradise Valley. Named in honor of the beautiful sunset views from the Mummy Mountain site, the 17-acre community will house 12 sprawling, luxurious properties with views of the McDowells and Four Peaks. Fantasy merges with reality with the new Monopoly: Scottsdale Edition. The iconic board game gets a Southwestern twist with this new version, which debuted last month. The Scottsdale Edition replaces perennial board game’s famous Atlantic City squares (from Boardwalk to Park Place) with representations of much-loved Scottsdale geographical sites, cultural destinations, local nonprofits, historic landmarks, and time-honored businesses, alongside customized Community Chest and Chance playing cards to ensure each detail of the game pays homage to the city. Two local beer distributors launched new brews to try this season. PHX Beer Co. introduced a Zanjero, a new citrus-forwrad IPA paying homage to those in charge of Arizona’s water distribution. Since the late 1800s, the Zanjeros would travel near and far opening our canals to ensure water flows out of our faucets and grow our crops. Huss Brewing Co. recently rolled out both Papago Blueberry Wheat and Rio Salado Mexican Lager. The Papago, joining the brand’s family of fruit beers, is bursting with natural blueberry flavor and color.
