Grove Society Local History Museum
Exhibits feature Evansville history, housed in the historic Baker Manufacturing Offi ce Building, 15 Antes Dr. On the museum grounds is the last tourist cabin from Lake Leota Park, restored to its 1936 appearance. Self-Guided Historic District Walking Tour
Evansville’s four historic districts include the second oldest nationally designated district in the state. Self-guided walking tours focus on homes and businesses primarily near the downtown area. Follow maps in the free Walker’s Guide tour book. Copies are available at Creekside Place, City Hall, Eager Free Public Library, and the local History Museum.
