Researching and writing the history of Allied Farmers Limited has been an extremely rewarding experience. Throughout the project I have received every possible consideration and my grateful thanks to all those who willingly gave their time to assist with what has truly been a challenging opportunity. I would like to express my sincere appreciation to Allied Farmers Limited chairman John Loughlin, Group chief executive officer Paul Macfie, acting chief financial officer Hayden Monk and group company secretary William Giesbers, personal assistant to the Group chief executive officer Jeanette Prowse, Ross Dunlop director and Mayor of South Taranaki District and incumbent directors for their foresight and determination in bringing this project to a conclusion.
