“Creating in the contemporary world with an eye to what's to come. Combining the past and the future in an altered version of the present, through the fusion of technology and craftsmanship, this defines my vision and the concepttualization of my work.

I try to flow with ideas of symbiosis between the natural and artificial realities that we experience daily; between organic and parametric as a morphological language.

Taking the human body as inspiration and foundation for my works, allows me to create a www.alaskaccesorios.com logical connection between my profession, related to fashion, and the understanding of our evolutionary role within that industry. Because of this, I am attracted to the idea that whoever observes my work can directly interact with it, even more deeply, while wearing it.

I feel comfortable with the use of technology as a tool, both software and hardware, resulting in one of the guiding principles of my construction process, focused on the three-dimensional format due to my multidisciplinary training and curious nature. ”

Born in Argentina, Betiana Pavón began showing an interest in art at an early age, thus, determining her sole vocation towards design.

Throughout her professional training, she explored and ventured into various disciplines: architecture, interior design, photography, styling and art direction.

She currently lives in Barcelona, where she graduated in FabricademyProgram, at Fab Lab Barcelona - Institute of Advanced Architecture of Catalonia, which studies the incorporation of new materials, bio-materials and technologies into the textile industry.

Creator of the "Alaska Accessories" brand, her project is focused on revaluing and adapting the traditional millinery trade to a contemporary environment and wearers.
