This is my final project of summer 2024 practice studio class. It requires the student to design for elderly clients with physical challenges and incorporate an unfamiliar culture.
I designed the forever home for my clients - a Mexican couple relocating to the US. It features the Mexican traditional Adobe style interior but with functionality and accessibility in mind. Interior architectural elements such as the repeated arched, curved walls echos with interior details such as the built-in fireplace, kitchen island and niches.
