ABOUT The state-of-the-art 30-person facility offers nursing and daily care for birthrelated complications, premature births, congenital defects, brain injuries, and traumas. Tar River is located in Greenville, NC.

WHAT WE DO Tar River provides compassionate care for children with the most challenging medical conditions, including infants and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities and complex medical needs. This includes 24-hour on-site nursing services from RHA's skilled nursing staff. In addition, children receive educational services by licensed teachers.

Shaken Baby Syndrome (SBS) Trauma-related conditions which impair cognitive development and cause health problems such as blindness, seizures, etc.
