General Reminders Lower Sixth Form Online Assessments: Please continue to arrive promptly for each of your assessments; the timetable is provided below for your reference. From the School Nurse: The weather is forecast to be extremely hot this week. For those doing assessments, please remember to have plenty of water with you to remain hydrated and to take any hay fever medication if you are a sufferer. If you have access to a fan, do try to have it available. For everyone, if you are taking part in an activity outside remember your water, sun cream and hats; when in remote lessons have plenty of water to keep hydrated and have your windows open, if possible (SBP). House Assemblies: With Virtual Sports Week taking place next week – please see the email from Mr Cover and yesterday’s The RGS Today for further details – this is the last chance to earn valuable points for each House in their quest to secure the Cock House Cup. House assemblies take place today and all students should click on a link to their House assembly provided in an email from their Housemasters immediately after morning registration. Weekly Sports Challenge: In last week’s bike challenge, the individual winners were as follows: First Form: Luca Benge (101km) Second Form: George Wilson (125km) Third Form: Fin Sanders (51km) Fourth Form: Aidan Beaumont (175km) Fifth Form Matt Shaw (300km) Sixth Form: Harry McIntosh (234km) Staff: Dr Hudson (404km) Team winners (distance covered): 1st: Staff; 2nd: Fifth Form; 3rd: Second Form Team winners (number of participants): 1st: First Form; 2nd: Second Form; 3rd: Fourth Form The total distance covered across the week by all participants was 4,807km which is equivalent to the distance from Guildford to the middle of Africa!
