Our GCSE and A Level students celebrate richly deserved results, built on hard work, dedication and pride, which provided the foundations for the most ambitious of aspirations.

Our Commemoration Service in Guildford Cathedral allows us to welcome new students and staff alike into our rich 500-year tradition.

Academic enrichment and stretch come in many forms from themed weeks at the RGS to success in national – and international! – competitions…

23 rugby teams of all age groups regularly compete with well over 300 students representing the RGS at weekends, home and away.
The extra-curricular life of the School continues to flourish with regular trips, locally and further afield, including the Spanish trip and the joint trip to Nepal with Tormead School.
Drama productions include the GCS E Devised Performances and the student-led production of No Peace on St Jude.
Old Guildfordians of all ages continue to engage, inspire and connect with the RGS, through talks, society meetings and just popping in to say Hello!
Old Guildfordians also make a welcome return to provide support and their expertise as we hosted RGS Model United Nations IV.
The full and varied co-curricular life of the RGS provide endless opportunities outside the classroom, in particular in Monday Period 8 or on one of our Field Days.
Students throw themselves into a diverse range of sports as they embrace Sport for All at the RGS.
