REQUIREMENTS FOR CALCULATORS

All Secondary students from Yr.7 to Yr.13 are required to bring their own calculators to Maths class. Please find some details below:

• Years 7 to 11 must have a scientific calculator. We recommend the Casio Scientific Calculator FX590 - 01 OR Casio ClassWiz fx-991 EX OR fx-580VN X . (Graphing calculators are NOT allowed for the Cambridge exams.)

• All DP students must have a Graphing calculator. We recom mend Texas Instruments TI-84PLUS which is available in our school shop.

• All A Level Maths and A Level Further Maths students are required to have a scientific calculator. We recommend the Casio Scientific Calculator FX590 - 01 OR Casio ClassWiz fx-991 EX OR fx-580VN X. (Graphing calculators are NOT allowed for the Cambridge exams.)

• The mathematics teachers will go through calculator requirements at the start of the year to ensure students buy the right calculator.
