School of the Year 2020

2021 I

am delighted we can celebrate a wonderful 2021 whilst raising money for charity. Mind fights to secure support and respect for everyone facing mental health challenges and I am proud that the RGS students have chosen this charity as one of the many we will support for the year ahead. I am also delighted we are continuing our strong relationship with Loveworks, a charity helping local people. This is community support in action from the foodbank, the ‘cuppa tea club’, the Loveworks garden, the Munch Club and more.

We are also supporting the RGS Nightingale Fund, a new part of our extensive means-tested bursary programme that, in these exceptional times, is enabling the life changing opportunities of an RGS education for children in families working in the NHS and other front-line services.

Over this year, Reigatians will explore talent, reach new heights, learn from mistakes and do great things. They will be team mates and good mates, looking after each other because it is the Reigatian way. Each month brings new opportunities to develop qualities of character on the great adventure that is the journey from childhood to young adulthood. I hope every day is a happy day to remember in 2021.
