Become a hobby horse record breaker!
The infamous hobby horses are now such a well-loved and integral part of the show that on the Sunday, Hurst will be attempting to break the Guinness World Record for ‘Largest Stick Horse Parade’. This will involve a 1km ‘hack’ around the village, setting off at 2pm.

Committee member Vikki Randles explains: ‘The record stands at 250 participants: we reckon that with the support of our fabulous Hurst Show visitors, we can beat that to become a record-breaking village show!’
So, dear readers, Hurst needs you to get involved! Simply register your interest, either when buying tickets online, or via the show website for those buying tickets on the day. Then head down to Martineau Green from 1.15pm with your trusty hobby horse steed.
Please encourage friends, family and neighbours to join in and help Hurst break the record in style - fancy dress actively encouraged!
