How to get there?
Location
The house is located at km 7 on the way from Carmen de Apicalá to Cunday It is only 10 minutes from Carmen de Apicalá The main entrance is located just 150 meters from the main road which is completely paved and allows any car to enter without problem
The place where the house is located is called CONDOMINIO FRUWORLD. By this name you can also do the search in the Waze or Google Maps apps without problem. Here are also the links:

Check-In
Depending on your time and day of arrival, I will receive you, Ana, or you will enter using a lock box by the house’s main door where you will find the keys. A few hours before your arrival I will send you the code to open it and get the keys and the alarm control for the house
Please, do not wet the control, as this would damage it. I will also send you the Wi-Fi Network’s name and password, so that you connect to internet.
Is you are planning to check-in after 5:30pm, it is very important you let me know this in advance so I can informe the watchman at the front door
Remember to bring all the guest s Ids. The security people have the order to check this before you enter the condomonium
Parking
Surveillance personnel will tell you where to park the vehicle(s). This is always right next to the house you are renting and on the concrete trace -not on the grass- as, apart from preventing form damaging the green area, that could avoid you car to slip off or get stuck unnecessarily.
Amenities
The house is fully equipped (appliances, kitchen items, etc all in perfect condition) for you to use freely, taking care of them as if you were in your own home
As soon as you enter, make sure everything is as promised. If you find something that isn‘t working well, broken or our of place, please let me know immediately so I can have a record of it and if possible, fix it promptly. If you do not say anything, I will assume everything is in perfect order
Food Supplies
My recommendation about your food supplies, is that you hopefully buy all your groceries in advance and arrive with everything so that you do not have to return to Carmen de Apicalá, since there are no stores or markets around the house.
If you don't bring your food from Bogotá and would like to buy groceries, in Carmen de Apicalá you will find D1 and ARA, and also some small shops and bakeries In the Plaza de Mercado, you can easily find fruits and vegetables.
The water you find at home IS NOT DRINKABLE, so I recommend that you bring a couple of large water bottles or bags. Those could be easily found in Carmen de Apicalá.
In case you need a delivery, at the end of this guide I leave you a couple of phone numbers. Average service price: $30 000COP
Towels, sheets and toilet paper?
There will be 1 clean towel for each guest, only for using inside the house Remember that these are not for taking to the pool or in natural areas.
All beds have clean sheets Please, avoid using shoes while laying on bed and also sitting on it with sunscreen/suntan lotion on your body, as those stains are very difficult to remove and damage the sheets
You will also find blankets, in case you need them.
If you would like spare towels or a replacement with new ones, please let me know this in advance to coordinate it (that will represent an extra fee which will depend on the number of towels, as it is not part of the regular service we offer or you have paid for).
Each bathroom comes with 1 roll of toilet paper for your use.
Recycling
As faithful lovers of nature WE RECYCLE AND SEPARATE OUR GARBAGE, so I would appreciate you acting the same way For this purpose, in the clothes yard next to the kitchen you will find 3 bins for your use:
In addition to this, please do not leave garbage or rubbish outside, this will avoid attracting birds, ants, flies or other animals Leaving bags on the road is forbidden
When you accumulate enough garbage, the communal shut is a few meters from the house, so please take your bags an leave them there
This is very important to prevent insects of different kinds from approaching the area as we are in hot weather and it is easy for that to happen.
Dishwashing and toilets
Swimming Pools (comunal –private) and jacuzzis
If you have doubts regarding the use of the pool, in front of each one you will find the rules (either the communal one or if the house you rented has a private pool or jacuzzi).
In case you want to use clothing to protect yourself from the sun inside the pool, remember that only waterproof clothing is allowed there, otherwise, these will deteriorate the condition of the pool
Pools and Jacuzzis are cleaned every day by Edinson
For hygiene and care of the Jacuzzi -which has only cold water-, please do not add any type of soap, foam bar or oils inside
Remember that your children in this areas, or any other, are your responsibility.
Please turn off the jacuzzi/swimming pool s light while you sleep, not only for using energy when is really needed but also because at night, bugs feel very attracted by it, so on the next day, you will probably see a couple that have got stuck.
NOTE: As it appears in our ads, NON of our pools or jacuzzis have hot water.
Fire!
Because we are in an environmental reserve zone, avoiding forest fires that could easily damage nature or natural habitats will be the priority. That is why it is completely forbidden the use of gunpowder, fireworks, throw cigarette butts or glass into the forest, or carry out barbecues and campfires with firewood, charcoal or any another product that generates sparks (which is why the BBQ that is available for you is gas-fired and has a specific place to be used).
The destructive effects of a forest fire are disastrous for plant, animal and human life and incalculable material losses, both for the condominium and for the region, due to its high spread and uncontrollable extinction.
Walking tour to the natural reserve
For the guests and owners safety, and also by regulation of the condominium, which is where the nature reserve is located, the ecological tours must be done with the company of a guide. For this purpose, you just need to confirm with me, to check for availability. This must be done at least one day in advance. The cost of the walking tour is $55,000COP to $85,000COP for the entire group. The price will depend on the number of people and the money is delivered directly to the guide.*
For safety (and also for enjoyment), I recommend you to not wear flip-flops or sandals for this purpose. Trainers or tennis may be more suitable, comfortable and safe, considering that the terrain is rocky and some stones can be slippery or loose. It will always be important to walk with caution. It is recommended that Elderly people with some physical difficulties and children under 3 years do not go for safety reasons.
If you perhaps have a fanny pack, waist bag or light backpack, these will always be useful to carry your cell phone or a bottle of water if you would like to.

Music and parties
Given the very wide topographical conditions, sound transmission is fast and strong. For this reason, I appreciate you keeping a volume intensity that is enough for you to enjoy the music without disturbing the neighbors.
As you may have seen in the houses ad, very loud music isn t allowed in order to respect the Good Neighbor policy and keep the harmony of the place. In case this happens, surveillance has the order to ask you to lower the volume and warn you (please, be aware of that, as it could generate a fine for bad behavior).

BBQ? Of course!
If you feel like a having a BBQ, no problem! You just need to let me know, so I can tell you how to use it and where
Depending on the house you have rented, we have a gas-fired BBQ (for this you do not need to bring charcoal or firewood) or a charcoal barrel (there you will need to bring your charcoal).
In order to prevent it from deteriorating quickly, my only request is that you, please, do a quick clean after using it, avoiding leaving any food residue, as this is the hardest part when we do the deep cleaning.
Pets?
We love nature and animals, but we have had certain experiences that significantly impacted the condition of the houses and the area For this reason, we currently have some restrictions in place, and I hope you understand
If we have agreed on the admission of your pet, please remember that this incurs an additional nightly charge ($25.000COP per pet), and we have specific rules and agreements regarding their stay in the house.
Additionally, the condominium administration is prohibited from feeding pets belonging to others, in order to avoid issues with their owners and potential accidents. This can currently result in a fine. This establishment does NOT take responsibility for lost pets, so if you choose to take your pet to the reserve, please ensure you take care of it.
Camping?
Camping is not permitted in the area unless it is as part of a daytime activity.
Hammocks
You will find them hanging on a coat rack that is in plain sight or behind the main door You can take a nap and admire the beautiful landscape by hanging them in the structures that are outside the house.
Please, bring them in at night, in case it rains so they don t get wet and you will be able to use them without problem the next day.
Running or cycling? Motorcycle escort service
If you would like to go out for a run or ride and feel safe, it is possible to schedule a person to accompany you on his motorcycle and assist you if necessary.

Catamaran Mesh
We now have a catamaran mesh for you to enjoy our beautiful views and take home a souvenir if you want to take a super photo.
This is located right next to the communal pool You can use it as long as you respect the rules that we have created for its use, all with the aim of taking care of it Those who do not comply with them, may obtain a fine for it.

Animal park / Playground area
Around the area our guests can walk, we have a park to explore our steel jungle animals, along with a slide, swings, and some exercise structures. Enjoy them and tag us in your photos!

Enjoy our sun structure and its beautiful viewpoint. Take a photo alone, with your friends and family so that you have a nice memory of this place where Mother Earth receives you with love.

Washing your car
The country's transit code makes it clear that washing vehicles on public roads, rivers, canals, and city streams is prohibited.
Currently, those who fail to comply with this rule receive a sanction equivalent to 8 legal daily minimum wages in force.
Water is an absolutely valuable resource, so my invitation is that you make the best use of it wherever you are.
Please avoid wasting it, washing your car or your pet. The guards are always very aware that everyone complies with the rules
Emotional support pet*
Do you take your pet with you for a special reason?
In this case remember:
Always take care and watch over him/her.
Do not let her walk alone outside the house (remember that we are in a nature reserve and she/he could get lost).
No pet is allowed to sleep or rest on the beds, sofas or hammocks in the houses.
Do not use the towels or blankets that are provided to you to wrap it up, make space/bed to sleep or clean or dry it with them.
Do not enter it into the pool (as a rule, hygiene and because this quickly deteriorates the pool).
You must pick up your pets poop (dog s poop is not a fertilizer). In case of non-compliance, you can obtain a sanction established by the administration

2. Casas Campestres Los Miradores de Fruworld is not responsible for guests and visitors outside our facilities, theft or personal injury.
3. As additional services, information can be provided to access some services such as taxis, people transportation, walks, etc., but the guest must keep in mind that they are not services provided directly by the establishment and are part of a service additional for our visitors, therefore the accommodation is not responsible for any type of eventuality in it.
4. All belongings or valuables must be stored and cared for by our guests. Casas Campestres Los Miradores de Fruworld/ Ana Soler is not responsible for any loss or damage of belongings caused due to neglect or mishandling of them. These objects and belongings must be stored safetly
5. Casas Campestres Los Miradores de Fruworld does not provide restaurant service. If this type of service is requested from a third party, the guest will be directly responsible for its consumption.
6. The guest must immediately report any damage to the property to the hostess, to prevent any accidents. Casas Campestres Los Miradores de Fruworld is not responsible for the use of damaged items or facilities that have not been reported in order to be checked or repaired ASAP.
7. It is not permitted to temporarily or permanently accommodate/host strangers if, due to this situation, our guests suffer any material damage (theft) or personal damage, they are not our responsibility and if our facilities are damaged or there are losses to our property, the guest must cover said damages.

6. El huésped deberá de reportar de forma inmediata a la anfitriona de cualquier daño en la propiedad, esto para evitar que puedan sufrir cualquier accidente. Casas Campestres Los Miradores de Fruworld no se hace responsable por el uso de artículos o instalaciones dañadas que no hayan sido reportadas para su revisión o reparación.
7. No esta permitido alojar de forma temporal o permanente a personas extrañas si debido a esta situación nuestros huéspedes sufrieran algún daño material (robos) o personal no son nuestra responsabilidad y si se dañara nuestras instalaciones o hubiese pérdidas de nuestro inmueble el huésped deberá cubrir dichos daños.
8. Todos los huéspedes deben presentar documentación que acredite su identidad para el posterior registro del TRA (para Colombiano) y SIRE (Para extranjeros). La suplantación de documentos no está permitida puede tener efectos jurídicos e incurrir en una multa.
9. No nos hacemos responsables por las consecuencias de prácticas no debidas en la propiedad.

We completely understand if this worries you, especially if you are traveling with children.
Although we have some mosquitoes due to the country setting, the mountaintop location allows us to enjoy the possibility of having far fewer compared to other areas. From Bogotá Transport Terminal to Melgar:
• Transport companies: Expreso Bolivariano, Flota La Macarena, Cootransfusa, and Rápido Tolima.
• Price: Approximately 35,000 COP per person.
• Duration: 3 to 4 hours, depending on traffic and the time of departure
From Melgar to Carmen de Apicalá:
• Take another bus from the Melgar terminal to Carmen de Apicalá.
• Price: Approximately 7,500 COP per person

From Carmen de Apicalá to the house:
• You will find motorbike taxi services in the area that can take you directly to the property
