FITNESS STATIONS

Thanks to a generous grant from the Heart of the Community Foundation, Ridge Ferry Park has four fitness stations featuring bodyweight exercises, machines and more located on a roughly half-mile circuit which offers a great workout for people of all ages and abilities. ETOWAH DRIVING RANGE Located in Etowah Park and managed by Golf Fore Less, the range is open seven days a week. It opens at 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday through Friday and at 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Range balls can be purchased via the automated ball machine.

RIDGE FERRY DOG PARK

The Ridge Ferry Dog Park located on the shoals side of the park features three fenced-in play areas for dogs, including separate areas for both small and large dogs. It also offers a special water fountain at the entrance with a lower bowl area for dogs and a typical spigot for humans.

DISC GOLF COURSE

Located at Shag Williams Park in Shannon, the disc golf course features 18-holes winding around the park over 5,385 feet for the par 58 course. Scorecards and more course informa-

TREE HOUSE

The wheelchair accessible tree house features prominently in the main parking lot of Ridge Ferry Park. It offers a covered seating area and wide ramps with rails as well as great views of the park and the Oostanaula River.
