Revolution School is an innovative independent school that works closely with local community partners to co-create meaningful educational experiences in the classroom. Our dynamic, nimble education model of experiential learning and community partnerships provides students with the relevant skills to become independent investigators and shapers of the world around them.

Our Vision

High school should be a transformation.

We envision a different landscape for education in Philadelphia: one where students and teachers are inspired by each other, their world, and what matters. We teach students to collect data in order to validate and inform their ideas about the world. Our educators use cutting-edge education models to guide their teaching and assessment. Research fuels the learning and the community.

We’re building an infrastructure that allows a place-based, humanistic, learner-centered school to thrive and grow. The School rests on the shoulders of innovative educators and invested community members who understand the importance of situating student learning within today ’s interconnected world.

Our Values

JOYOUS: School should never be boring! When every part of a student’s day is connected to their world, it’s easy to stay driven, active, and engaged — and to have fun doing it. We want students to be excited by a Revolution School education.
