We’re the people who create brilliant holidays for disabled people and their companions, including those with mild to moderate dementia or Alzheimer’s. Everything you’d expect from a holiday, backed by 24-hour personal and nursing care, as needed, from our expert team of nurses and carers.
Each year we host special Treasured Moments weeks specifically for those living with Azheimer’s or dementia, where you and your loved one can enjoy a proper break. With over 60 years of experience in catering for guests with varying support needs, you can relax, safe in the knowledge that your best holiday is combined with the best possible care.
A proper break for you both
It’s a wonderful thing to love someone and to look after them. But it’s also an important and healthy thing to look after yourself.
We know that entrusting the care of a loved one to someone new can be difficult. That’s why our dedicate team are on hand to answer any questions you may have. There is plenty of support available, from our first conversation right through to the end of your break.
We also offer a welcome reception and dinner just for companions, so you can socialise with like-minded people who have had similar experiences.

When do I arrive?
Our Treasured Moments holidays are 7 nights and start on Monday at Sandpipers and Sunday at Jubilee Lodge.
Does my carer need to come, too?
Yes, during our Treasured Moments weeks, we do ask that you bring a companion with you. But our expert team will provide any care support you require, so you can both benefit from a proper break together.
Do I need insurance?
We strongly recommend that you take cancellation insurance. Cancellation fees apply if you are unable to come for any reason. A listing of specalist insurance companies can be found at www.moneyhelper.org.uk.

Nestled in the Essex countryside, Jubilee Lodge is the perfect base to explore quaint villages and towns as well as the famed attractions of the capital and south coast.
Inside the centre boasts a lively entertainment and bar area for those who enjoy socialising. Many of the indoor areas overlook a tranquil inner courtyard, where you can relax in serene surroundings.

Iconic sights from our lakeside hub
Perched proudly on Southport’s Marine Lake is Sandpipers, a perfect waterside location from which to explore the north west.
Southport is a quintessiontially English seaside resort, boasting beautifully preserved Victorian promenades and arcades, as well as one of the oldest piers in the UK. The centre also boasts a heated hydrotherapy pool, for a truly revitalising experience.

We understand that everybody’s care needs are different, so when you make a booking, we ask a series of questions to get an overview of your medical conditions and find out which Care Support Package suits you best. Before your break, our nurses will phone to go through pre-assessment questions to identify your exact needs and address any concerns.
Care Support Package 1
Prompts from our care team including washing and dressing, taking medication and other day-today activities.

Package 1, plus personal care support such as washing, dressing and assistance with medication.

Funding your break
We don’t want anything tot get in the way of a much-needed break. As a national charity, we fundraise to subsidise the cost of all our breaks.
Below, we’ve outlined some additional options that may be available to help you fund the cost of your Revitalise holiday:
Local authorities
If you’re in need of a break, your local authority may be able to help.
To find out what your local authority offers, visit direct.gov.uk to search their contact details, then call them or look at their website. In addition, your local authority may be able to direct you to other services in your area which may be able to assist you.
Pay in Installments
To make paying for your break more accessible, we offer payment in instalments in advance of your break. By doing this, you can split up the full cost over several months.
Hardship funding from Revitalise
Joan Brander MEMORIAL FUND
You can apply to the Joan Brander Memorial Fund for a grant towards your break if you have been unable to take a break in the last 12 months, do not qualify for full statutory funding and do not have savings exceeding £23,000.

Other forms of funding
Other charities or organisations may be able to offer support with funding. These could include charities related to your specific condition, military service or others. Speak to our friendly booking advisors, who will be happy to signpost you to more information.
