Bringing back guest favourite themed weeks

Each year we hear about the many special memories our guests make at Revitalise. A big part of that are the fun-filled weeks that our activities teams put on throughout the year. To create our 2024 programme, we have taken inspiration from our most popular holiday themes from the past and combined it with guest input on what you would like to see in the future. Read on to discover a flavour of what's in store.

Best of TV & Film

Harry Potter, Peaky Blinders, Emmerdale — this week features entertainment, activities and excursions from your favourite TV shows and movies. Expect studio tours, movie marathons, genre-busting quizzes, cinema trips and karaoke to all the best cinema soundtracks.

Does music make your heart sing? If so, Music Legends is for you! We pay tribute to some of the best-loved names in music history — past and present! From tribute bands to karaoke, quiz nights to music-themed excursions, pop icons to rock gods, you’re certain to find your perfect holiday soundtrack.

Viva Las Vegas

Who says you have to cross the pond to catch the Vegas vibe? We’ll be bringing all the glitz, glamour and casino tables to our holiday centres for you to enjoy. Oh, and of course we’ll feature trips to the best shows nearby.

Calling all those who love the lights, drama, and production of the theatre! This is your week to shine, with a free ticket included to a West End show, trips to Shakespeare’s Globe and visits from local acting or improv groups. Best start learning your lines now because this will surely be a sell-out.

What do your prices include?

We pride ourselves on quality hospitality in truly accessible surroundings. Expect the following:

� Pre-assessment to create a care plan tailored to your individual needs

� Full-board hospitality, with three meals included each day

� Use of all facilities and amenities

� Tea and coffee throughout the day

� Volunteers to assist

� Vibrant excursions and daytime activities

� Brilliant live evening entertainment

� Friendly care and nursing teams on site 24 hours

� Specialist equipment available on request*, including hoists, profiling beds, airflow mattresses and bariatric beds

Our Care Support Packages

With over 60 years of experience we can cater for almost every type of disability. We offer 24-hour care with nursing provision as needed — so you can simply relax and enjoy a worry free break.

Care Support Package 1

Prompts from our care team including washing and dressing, taking medication and other day-to-day activities.

£37 a day

Care Support Package 2

Package 1, plus personal care support such as washing, dressing and assistance with medication.

£90 a day

Additional care support

Each year we have guests who have complex needs requiring 1:1 care, for which an additional £20/hour is charged.

Once you have discussed your care support needs with our team, we will be able to tell you which Care Support Package you will need, and the cost of that will be added to your base price to give the total.

Excursions are included in the cost of your break, except in the case of visiting an attraction which has an entry fee, for which the guest will be required to pay (unless otherwise stated).

We understand that everybody’s care needs are different, so when you make a booking, we ask a series of questions to get an overview of your medical conditions and find out which Care Support Package suits you best. Before your break, our nurses will phone to go through pre-assessment questions to identify your exact needs and address any concerns.

Funding your break

We’re all feeling the pinch from the rising cost of living, but don’t let that get in the way of a muchneeded break. As a national charity, we fundraise to subsidise the cost of all our breaks.

Below we’ve outlined some additional options that may be available to help you fund the cost of your Revitalise holiday:

Local authorities

If you’re in need of a break, your local authority may be able to support you to access respite.

To find out what your local authority offers, visit direct.gov.uk to search their contact details, then call them or look at their website. In addition, your local authority may be able to direct you to other services in your area which may be able to assist you.

Pay in instalments

To make paying for your break more accessible, we offer payment in instalments in advance of your break. By doing this, you can split up the full cost over several months.

By booking in the Early Bird period before 31 October, not only will you only need to pay just £49 upfront, but you’ll have even longer to spread out the cost of your break!

Hardship funding from Revitalise

The Revitalise Support Fund (RS Fund) was created for those who may require financial support towards an accessible break. If you can relate to any of these circumstances, or if you are finding it difficult to afford a break with Revitalise, we may be able to help:

� I can’t afford a respite break with Revitalise

� My disability benefits/funding have been cut

� My situation has recently changed at home and I can no longer afford to get away

� My carer has had to give up work

� My carer is in need of a break, but we can’t afford it

Joan Brander MEMORIAL FUND

You can apply to the Joan Brander Memorial Fund for a grant towards your break if you have been unable to take a break in the last 12 months, do not qualify for full statutory funding and do not have savings exceeding £23,000.

Other forms of funding

Other charities or organisations may be able to offer support with funding. These could include charities related to your specific condition, military history or others. Speak to our friendly booking advisors, who will be happy to signpost you to more information.
