All thought-through and designed with all the love, affection, and respect in the world. Alejandro is the painter of this work of art, without him nothing we do would make sense. The commander of our elegant steps. Everything is about him, everything is for him. He inspires us, he motivates us, he fills our hearts with joy. He makes us go through every moment of our life in a kinder, more exciting way, more full of poetry and truth, more aware of the force of life and its ups and downs. Alejandro is a star that shines on earth, in the universe and in the sea. He has his own day in Los Angeles and Hollywood. He has his own street. He has his own bridge. He has his own star. You have our souls standing in timeless admiration of you. He is simply the greatest among the greatest. In this edition we had the privilege of being in Hollywood to witness another unique moment in the career of Alejandro Sanz, always deserving of all the recognitions for his brilliant and inspiring career, now it was time to be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Motivated by the eighteenth anniversary of the album "No es lo Mismo", we dedicate an exclusive special to the album that was so important in Alejandro's career for many reasons. Not to be missed! Nothing makes us happier than interviewing Alejandro's friends and colleagues, in this edition we had the honor of talking to Luis Fonsi who is currently with Sanz as coach of the new edition of La Voz Antena 3 and Greeicy who recently premiered "Lejos Conmigo" alongside our beloved maestro. This edition brings the return of #LaGira to the U.S. stages, all the wait was worth it. Now we can finally enjoy and feel the energy of being in concert again. In the days leading up to the worldwide release of #Bio, Alejandro was releasing emotional parts of what we didn't yet know was coming. Alejandro announced #Bio through his social networks right after a blackout where Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp were down for several hours... But the light shone again with Alejandro Sanz releasing his latest musical treasure. Definitely, there is no such thing as coincidence. It was like the world went dark and suddenly #Bio turned it all on. Always with a grateful heart, Sanz does not forget his roots. Those are Alejandro's words, his story, his song.

ALEJANDRO SANZ
1991, UNICEF The first historic and unforgettable show of Alejandro Sanz's successful career was at the Real Madrid Sports Pavilion, a Christmas benefit concert organized by Unicef. It was on December 14, 1991 when Alejandro came stomping on a big stage and felt for the first time the Alejandro Sanz phenomenon that had conquered Spain, felt the warmth of a dedicated audience singing his songs with all their hearts. The jewel of Spanish music was clearly Sanz, he dragged a multitude of faMs wherever he went, the show consummated the magical moment that the young artist from Madrid was living in his career.
1993, BÁSICO Alejandro, his guitar, a beacon of light. Music, poetry and art. Básico is Alejandro's first acoustic album, recorded in 1993 and released in 1994 in limited edition. The concert was recorded in an intimate atmosphere, with the idea of gathering the greatest hits of his first two albums "Viviendo Deprisa" and "Si tú me Miras". The recording was in collaboration with Los 40 Principales. It was a big step in Sanz's career, one of the most exciting and beautiful shows of his entire career.
1998, MÉXICO This is one of the most memorable, emotional and impressive concerts of their thirty-year career; where talent and resilience walked hand in hand more than ever It was an important show in "El Auditorio de Mexico", Alejandro was an international superstar and all eyes were on him. But something happened that night... Alejandro completely lost his voice and could not sing. More than ten thousand people were waiting for him. He went on stage and simply could not sing, he left his band playing the song and locked himself in the dressing room. A short time later, still without a voice, Alejandro returned to the stage and asked his faMs to sing with him. Halfway through the show the drugs began to take effect and Alejandro regained his voice, turning the show into a tremendous show. He sang at the top of his lungs and ended up being carried out on his shoulders by his musicians and applauded by an audience that was in awe of him.

2001, MTV UNPLUGGED "There are many minutes of silence in the world, that's why I preferred to sing," commented Alejandro after starting the "MTV Unplugged" acoustic concert with a bulería in honor of the victims of 9/11. The show, a first among Spanish singers, was scheduled to take place on September 14, but due to the terrorist act three days earlier, it was postponed to October 2, in Miami, at the Gusmán Center. Today he used to be "the first" in many things and open paths for other singers, twenty years ago Sanz was only thirty-two years old and less than ten years of career, but he was already representing Spanish and Spanish music in different environments and projects. Alejandro Sanz - MTV Unplugged was released as a DVD and CD. Both have thirteen songs but in different orders. 2001, VICENTE CALDERÓN More than fifty thousand people witnessed a magical night at the Vicente Calderón stadium in Madrid on June 28, 2001. The show is part of the El Alma al Aire Tour, which was released in DVD format. 2004, LAS VENTAS Imagining the atmosphere of Las Ventas on a September night in 2004 makes us shudder. If we could go back in time, it would be magical to be able to relive this show live. Part of the No es lo Mismo Tour, the show had an audience of more than eighteen thousand people in an atmosphere that breathed Alejandro Sanz. In one of the most emotional moments of the night, Alejandro opened his heart three years after the last show held in Madrid: "Finally, Madrid, three years and I return to the city where I was born, raised and fell in love for the first time. We are going to make songs, which are nothing; they can't stop a tank, but they can break the heart of the warrior who drives it". 2017, MÁS ES MÁS Obviously, the show that celebrated the twentieth anniversary of "Más" could not be missing in this selection of historical concerts. Back at the Vicente Calderón, Alejandro relived all the hits of "Más" among other more recent ones, along with big names in music that made the night even more special. On June 24, 2017, this show is part of our little box of Sanzero gifts, the day that was decreed by our beloved Alejandro Sanz as "FAM Sanzero Day". We collect memories and moments over the years and thanks to this idol who blesses our life we have the privilege to continue celebrating this day every year.
2019, WANDA June 16, 2019, an appointment, a unique and unrepeatable show. This is how Alejandro continues to write pages in the history of music.... Someone who is so masterfully exceptional and tireless draws crowds and fills the biggest stages in music. He was the first Spanish artist to perform a sold-out show, attended by more than fifty-five thousand people. The concert that gave rise to the DVD "LaGiraDeElDisco" is part of the #LaGira Tour and featured distinguished guests: Pablo Alborán, Camila Cabello, Dani Martín and Sara Baras. SIEMPRE: 1. How did it feel to record and sing with Alejandro Sanz? GREEICY: A dream fulfilled. This release with the master has been an injection of motivation and life for my musical project. It has been very inspiring to be able to share this process with him and live more closely the professional way and all the experience that is noted when it comes to developing a song. After releasing I have felt a hug of credibility towards the industry so I feel very grateful for this special opportunity.
SIEMPRE: 2. Any anecdotes to share with our leaders? GREEICY: The day of the video clip was very special. I remember every moment but I have two that always come to my mind. The first moment was very funny because in the last shots with Alejandro that were under the sun, 40 degrees, I had a white latex dress, long, turtleneck and long sleeves that of course did not allow air to enter and I started sweating in a way that jets of water came out of my legs and my arms and I was very embarrassed with him because there was a moment where we were holding hands and I always had them full of water. In that same scene I lived another very emotional moment: we were singing, looking at each other and for a moment I had a lump in my throat, I wanted to cry and for a moment I went back to my childhood, to when I was looking at myself in the mirror trying to be Shakira in the video "la tortura" with Alejandro... that time when I didn't know if everything I dreamed could be reality and suddenly I came back to reality and said: I am here... with him... living something I dreamed of and I felt very grateful. SIEMPRE: 3. We followed you on your social media and saw your excitement over the release of "Lejos Conmigo". What process of composing or releasing the song did you enjoy the most?
GREEICY: It's hard to choose because every moment has been special. When you are fulfilling a dream you are enjoying every moment. This song I dreamed it up and imagined it before it reached his ears and from that beginning before he knew the song I was happy to know that I was making a song for him to listen to and then to keep building the song with his hand and with all his experience it made my excitement grow so it's hard to pick a specific moment. SIEMPRE: 4. You made a name for yourself by participating in the show XFactor, and now you're an assistant coach with Alejandro on The Voice, how does it feel to have been on both sides?
GREEICY: Having both experiences allows you a special sensitivity to understand what it's like to stand there, giving everything for your dream. And, of course, it allows you to see the growth you've had along the way.
SIEMPRE: 5. Which of Alejandro's songs would you most like to sing with him, and why?
I think that "Corazón Partío" is a song that you can spend as many years as you want and it will still be there like all your music but I really like that one in particular."

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce introduced Sanz as one of the most influential musicians in the Hispanic world to the attentive gaze of more than a hundred fans gathered early in the morning on this piece of Los Angeles' most iconic sidewalk. Since 1960, the Hollywood Walk of Fame has recognized international celebrities for their work and contribution to the entertainment industry. Sanz's star is number 2,703, our new lucky and magic number.
More than twenty-five million albums sold worldwide, twenty-four Latin Grammys and four Grammys, and twelve studio albums, among other achievements, endorse Alejandro Sanz's career of more than three decades in the world of music. There were only a few hours left for the big moment. Just one night that would be the last night that star would shine in the sky, to do so on the ground, swollen and proud of the presence of Alejandro Sanz stomping on it.
October 1st. Friday. Always already the "Day Of Alejandro Sanz In Hollywood". Capitol Records. Venue for the celebration of the event. A festive atmosphere from early in the morning and hearts pounding.
"When I approached I was greeted by a girl with a microphone in her hand and pink hair, I thought she was so cute and irreverent. She was a reporter from Univision, she was going to broadcast live for the program Despierta America. She greeted me warmly and in front of the lights and cameras I realized that the big day had arrived and that I was there to live it.
The cameraman's camera did not work to transmit live, they had a scheduled time and everything went wrong. The reporter said that it was worthless to get up early and that they were leaving without achieving what they had planned. ADANER IS A NON-GOVERNMENTAL, NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION, DECLARED OF PUBLIC UTILITY IN 1998, COMMITTED TO THE TREATMENT OF EATING DISORDERS (ED) AND WHICH CARRIES OUT ITS WORK THROUGH TREATMENT SUPPORT AND AWARENESSRAISING ACTIVITIES.
Since its creation in 1991, ADANER has directed its struggle both to contribute to improving the health-related quality of life of people affected by anorexia nervosa and bulimia, and to raise awareness in society about this problem which, especially in these times of pandemic, has been totally neglected. Composed of patients and their families, its actions are based on offering affection to the former, the basis of their recovery, and establishing resources for therapies and treatments, through a network of interdisciplinary professionals, as these disorders require, because Eating Disorders (ED) have a multicausal origin. Certainly, today and fortunately, there is much more visibility of the problem, previously existing but invisible and, moreover, stigmatized the patient because it created social shame. We insist, fortunately, that people suffering from TAC's can be very much supported by this foundation that fights against the torment of the affected person, against the guilt he/she may feel and offers constant guidance in the process of the disease and its recovery. The causes of these diseases are not known, but the predisposing and triggering factors together with stressful or difficult situations for the individual can lead to an Eating Behavior Disorder (ED). But what are the predisposing factors to Anorexia and Bulimia? A punctual traumatic episode in life, or that continuously causes stress or emotional pain. Perception of lack of affection. Painful ruptures of important relationships such as father, mother, friends, partner. Sensitivity to dysfunctional family dynamics. Undervaluation of their feelings and thoughts by themselves and others. Biochemical and organic disorders. Personality characteristics such as: perfectionism, obsessiveness, compulsiveness, low self-esteem and hypersensitivity.
Firstly, because we already know that in each of our editions, we talk about solidarity, that which Alejandro teaches us to exercise and in which he is constantly involved, in favor of the most vulnerable, giving them a voice, dissemination, affection and awareness from the social platform La Fuerza del Corazón.
Therefore, both parents and teachers should be alert to any of these factors in adolescents and young adults, the population with the highest incidence of the disorder, and seek immediate help, because yes, it can be treated and cured. Anorexia Nervosa is a mental disorder characterized by an extreme perfectionism that manifests and focuses around food intake and body image, leading the patient to limits of obsessive restriction, with a deep fear of being underweight. Bulimia is a mental disorder characterized by a lack of impulse control that translates in the case of eating into episodes of voracity, or in other words, eating large amounts of food in a short space of time in the form of "binge eating", with or without subsequent purgative behaviors, but with a strong feeling of guilt. In the case of anorexia nervosa, the first step is physical and nutritional assessment. Psychotherapy consists of support for renutrition, and only then are the psychotherapeutic aspects addressed to become the axis of recovery. In the case of bulimia nervosa, the level of lack of control and impulsivity is assessed, but the psychological aspects can be addressed from the very beginning. Adaner Madrid does a commendable job in helping people suffering from ED, offering informative talks, support groups, workshops and therapeutic groups, actions that will make the affected person feel comfortable, confident and in a very favorable climate to regain self-esteem and vitality, key in their recovery. SIEMPRE: 1. What were your beginnings in the world of music?
SIEMPRE: 5. What's been your favorite concert in your career and why?
FONSI: In my family we solved everything by singing and dancing. I was very lucky that since I was a child I knew I wanted to be a musician. I started preparing myself at the age of 5, taking voice, piano and guitar lessons, until eventually graduating with a bachelor's degree in music from Florida State University.
Ufff, it's impossible to name just one. Maybe the first time I filled the Coliseo de Puerto Rico about 20 years ago. It was a very emotional night, lots of nerves, but for the first time I felt that my childhood dream was coming true."
SIEMPRE: 2. We're getting closer and closer to the return of concerts. What are your expectations for this new moment? FONSI: Well, I think about that reunion every day. FONSI: I have been releasing singles that will be part of my next album. Songs like "Vacío" with Rauw Alejandro, and "Bésame" with Myke Towers. I have also just released a song with my friend David Bisbal called "Dos Veces". Although I don't have an exact date yet, I think that album will be released at the end of this year. I am also recording La Voz España.
SIEMPRE: 6. How did you meet and get to know Alejandro? FONSI: Well, it was a long time ago, at the beginning of my career. I think it was a brief encounter at some Latin Grammys. Then we kept meeting more and more at events and meetings with friends. I remember that a few years later he invited me to his house in Miami and we took a ride on his boat. FONSI: The most I enjoy in life is singing live. To feel the energy of the musicians playing live and the audience vibrating with you. No Tengo Nada is a HUGE THEME and I enjoyed it very much, an honor for me! SIEMPRE: 9. What moment together would you highlight?
FONSI: Sharing the stage with artists you admire is incredible, but sharing wine, rice, laughter and getting to know the special human being behind the artist is something that makes Alejandro great and different from the rest.
SIEMPRE: 11. Are there any anecdotes you can share with our readers?
FONSI: About 15 years ago we shared a very nice charity event with several other friends in Los Angeles. It was organized by our friend Juanes and it was really special. Afterwards, Prince invited us to his house and gave us a private concert. Very strong! SIEMPRE: 12. Can we dream of an unprecedented collaboration between the two of you?

When we talk about the change in this album we can look from many angles that we will find new things everywhere, from the mix of sounds, to the incredible visual work of Jaume de Laiguana, Catalan photographer and designer. Jaume was the creator of the symbols for the album, such as the glass half full or half empty, which emphasizes individuality "at a time when a single thought is demanded" and the difference in the perception of life. Alejandro tattooed the image of a bull from Picasso's Guernica on his left arm "to remember the worst we have".
This is the beginning of our tour of "No es lo Mismo". Alejandro goes beyond his romantic ballads and seeks to address issues of political, cultural and social contingency. The song "Sandy a orilla do Mundo", was composed by Alejandro after the Prestige catastrophe as a tribute to the Galician beaches stained by the oil slick.

The No es lo Mismo tour started in February 2004 and went through Latin America, the United States and Spain, with more than seventy concerts. With a little more than two hours of music, Sanz put together a repertoire mixing some of his previous songs with his new ones. His band was made up of musicians from the United States, Cuba, Costa Rica and Spain. A tour that lived up to the album, with Alejandro having fun and being loose on stage. Alejandro began his U.S. tour with the news that he had won the Grammy Awards for "Best Latin Album of the Year". The third part of the tour would take place in Spain, starting in the Canary Islands, a series of twenty-four concerts, after an extensive marathon of shows in which more than five hundred thousand people had seen the Spanish star live.
"We did a major tour in the United States, much of it by bus. The journey is much more than going from one point to another, the journey is everything that happens in the middle of the road. On the "It's Not the Same" tour I really enjoyed the road. We went to cities where I had never played before, places like Washington, for example. We also did some sightseeing of course. We all carry a tourist inside, you just have to let it out." - Alejandro. At that time, "No es lo Mismo" had sold more than two million copies around the world.
