Between the coming and going, waves and tides of optimism and disillusionment with politics and economy, the private business once again shows its power and claw. It is true that many companies ceased to operate, but on the other hand, others reorganized and grew up at a time of great resection.

This phenomenon could also be seen in the main fairs in the country. Good or bad, the great showcase known as fair, remains the best tool for generating business.

So let's accelerate and turn 2017 into a great incubator of good business and opportunity. And believe in political and economic reforms, a major challenge of the incumbent government.

Jornalista de formação, o alemão Kai Hattendorf trabalhou em grandes agências internacionais de notícias, arriscou-se em uma startup de tecnologia, mas se encontrou mesmo na indústria de feiras e eventos. Sempre presente nas exposições, mesmo quando atuava ainda nas reportagens, Kai recebeu um convite para se juntar à Messe Frankfurt, uma das principais promotoras de eventos do mundo. Nesta época, ele trabalhava no Deutsche Telekom Group, onde realizava uma série de trabalhos em torno de comunicações estratégicas. Convite aceito, Kai passou oito anos na Messe Frankfurt, onde exerceu várias posições de liderança em comunicações, marketing e negócios digitais. Só deixou a promotora em 2015, para assumir o cargo de diretor geral da UFI, The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry. A associação, que reúne os principais organizadores de feiras de negócios do mundo, representa cerca de 50.000 funcionários da indústria global de exposições e é formada por mais de 700 associados, de 84 países.

Originally a journalist, German Kai Hattendorf worked in major international news agencies, ventured into a technology startup, but truly found himself in the industry of trade shows and events. Always present at the exhibitions, even while still reporting, Kai received an invitation to join Messe Frankfurt, one of the world's leading event promoters. At the time, Kai worked for the Deutsche Telekom Group, where he worked on strategic communications. Invitation accepted, Hattendorf spent eight years at Messe Frankfurt, where he held several leading positions in communications, marketing and digital business. He only left the promoter to assume, in 2015, the position of General Director of UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry.

The association, which brings together the world's leading trade show organizers, represents approximately 50,000 employees in the global exhibition industry and is made up of more than 700 associates from 84 countries.

Quais são as principais atividades realizadas pela UFI? Seguimos três vertentes principais de atividades: promover a indústria de exposições; informar os membros da nossa indústria sobre desenvolvimentos e tendências por meio de pesquisas e projetos educacionais; e, por fim, organizar e realizar eventos em todo o mundo para reunir líderes e especialistas da nossa indústria.

Recentemente, a UFI realizou a 83ª edição do seu congresso global em Xangai, na China. Qual é o saldo que você faz do evento, as referências e resoluções que foram debatidas?

What are the main activities carried out by the UFI? We follow three main areas of activity: Promote the exhibition industry. Inform our industry members about developments and trends through research and educational projects. And, finally, we organize and hold events around the world to bring together leaders and experts from our industry.

Recently, the UFI held the 83rd edition of its global Congress in Shanghai. What balance do you take from the event, the references and resolutions that were discussed?

The UFI Global Congress is held in a different region of the world each year because of the 10 years being held in China. It

do mundo a cada ano. Em virtude disto, fazia 10 anos que tínhamos realizado uma edição na China. Foi o maior evento que já realizamos, com a presença da maioria dos membros, maior número de palestras e palestrantes, etc. Um dos principais pontos levantados é que, apesar de uma desaceleração no crescimento econômico global, as exposições estão indo bem.

O nosso setor espera, em média, um crescimento contínuo do volume de negócios para o próximo ano. Os dados apresentados em Xangai sugerem que, em 2017, o crescimento da indústria de exposições pode realmente exceder o crescimento econômico global. Ao mesmo tempo, nos últimos meses, vimos uma votação do Reino Unido sobre o “Brexit”, um fracassado golpe na Turquia, tensões crescentes entre a Rússia e o Ocidente, um acordo de paz colombiano rejeitado pelo povo e uma eleição presidencial nos EUA que dividiu o país. Tudo isso equivale a um nível crescente de incertezas em torno da política e dos negócios. Os acordos comerciais devem ser eliminados? Viajar para mercados vitais permanecerá fácil e seguro? Como os mercados se adaptarão aos níveis cambiais em constante mudança? Existem inúmeras questões sendo abordadas em salas de reuniões empresariais em todo o mundo. É impossível prever como isso irá impactar em nossa indústria.

Como estão as atividades do Capítulo Latino-Americano?

O Capítulo Latino-Americano representa nossos membros e coordena nossas atividades na região. Apesar de ser o menor Capítulo Regional da UFI, continuamos a ver um crescimento constante nos sócios e estamos muito ativos. Este ano, eu mesmo realizei duas viagens à América Latina. Em março, para o Chile, para participar do Congresso AFIDA e, em seguida, para Buenos Aires, para reuniões com o governo e as partes interessadas da indústria de exposições. Em agosto, viajei para o México para participar do Congresso AMPROFEC, juntamente com o presidente da UFI, Sergey Alexeev. Isso mostra nosso compromisso com a região e que estamos sérios em fortalecer nossos relacionamentos e nossa influência. Queria muito ter participado do ESFE (evento realizado pelo Grupo Radar) em fevereiro, mas infelizmente ele coincidia com o nosso segundo maior encontro da UFI, o Seminário Aberto na Ásia.

Falando sobre o Brasil, como a UFI vê a atividade de feiras e eventos no nosso país?

O Brasil tem, naturalmente, sofrido com turbulência política e econômica nos últimos anos, e todos na indústria de exposições sabem os efeitos que isso ocasiona em nosso setor. No entanto, temos números e dados que sugerem que as coisas podem melhorar. Realizamos uma pesquisa semestral sobre o desenvolvimento do nosso mercado, o "Global Exhibition Barometer”, e nos últimos dois anos temos coletado dados específicos para o Brasil.

E o que apontou?

was the biggest event we have ever had, with the presence of a majority of members, a greater number of lectures and speakers, etc. One of the main points raised was that, despite a slowdown in global economic growth, the exhibits are doing well.

Our industry expects, on average, continued growth in turnover for the coming year. The data presented in Shanghai suggests that by 2017 the growth of the exhibition industry may actually exceed global economic growth. At the same time, in recent months we have seen a UK vote on "Brexit," a failed coup in Turkey, growing tensions between Russia and the West, a Colombian peace agreement rejected by the people and a US presidential election that divided the country. All this amounts to a growing level of uncertainty about politics and business.

Should trade agreements be eliminated? Will traveling to vital markets remain easy (and safe)? How will markets adapt to ever-changing exchange rates? There are numerous issues being addressed in business meeting rooms throughout the world. It is impossible to predict how this will impact our industry.

How are the activities of the Latin American Chapter?

The Latin American Chapter represents our members and coordinates our activities in the region. Despite being the smallest Regional Chapter of the UFI, we continue to see steady growth in our members, and we are very active. This year, I myself made two trips to Latin America. In March for Chile, to attend the AFIDA Congress, and then to Buenos Aires for meetings with government and stakeholders from the exhibition industry. In August I traveled to Mexico to participate in the AMPROFEC Congress, together with the president of the UFI, Sergey Alexeev.

This shows our commitment to the region and that we are serious about strengthening our relationships and our influence. I would very much like to have attended ESFE in February (event held by the Grupo Radar), but unfortunately it coincided with our second major UFI meeting, the Open Seminar in Asia.

Speaking about Brazil, how does the UFI see the activity of trade shows and events in our country?

Brazil has, of course, suffered from political and economic turmoil in recent years, and everyone in the exhibition industry knows the effects this has on our industry. However, we have numbers and data that suggest things can get better. We conducted a semiannual research on the development of our market - the "Global Exhibition Barometer" and, in the last two years, we have collected specific data for Brazil.

Além disso, pesquisas realizadas a partir do Relatório Globex da AMR, apresentado na reunião do Capítulo Latino-Americano no nosso congresso em Xangai, mostram que o mercado de feiras brasileiras deverá crescer aproximadamente 4% ao ano até 2020, impulsionado por vários fatores, incluindo a participação internacional (graças ao câmbio), a recuperação de algumas indústrias subjacentes e o desenvolvimento de uma cultura de feiras fora de São Paulo. Se você levar em conta também as melhorias na infraestrutura da cidade de São Paulo e os benefícios que a presença de organizadores internacionais podem trazer, aliados ao tamanho e força da economia (uma vez que a situação política seja resolvida), as perspectivas para o Brasil são as melhores possíveis.

Até meados de 2016, o Brasil teve Ligia Amorim como vice-presidente da América da UFI. Com sua saída do mundo das feiras e desta posição, como é o trabalho feito pela UFI no Brasil?

Estamos muito gratos a Ligia pelo seu inestimável apoio como vice-presidente do nosso Capítulo Latino-Americano e lhe desejamos tudo de melhor no futuro. No entanto, ainda estamos muito bem apoiados no Brasil. Trabalhamos em estreita colaboração com a UBRAFE, assim como fazemos com todas as 55 associações nacionais e regionais parceiras, para apoiá-las onde pudermos. Além disso, desde o ano passado, o Grupo Radar tornou-se um dos nossos parceiros de mídia oficiais que ajudam a levar a mensagem UFI dentro do Brasil. Por último, estamos muito gratos aos nossos membros por seu apoio às nossas iniciativas, incluindo a participação na pesquisa do "Global Exhibition Barometer".

And what do they indicate?

The results of our latest report, published in July, show that 70% of respondents expected the turnover to increase in the first half of 2017. In addition, surveys conducted from AMR's Globex Report, presented at the Latin American Chapter meeting at our congress in Shanghai, show that the market for Brazilian trade shows is expected to grow approximately 4% per year by 2020, driven by several factors, including international participation (thanks to foreign exchange), the recovery of some of the underlying industries and the development of a trade show culture outside of São Paulo. If you also consider the improvements in the infrastructure of the city of São Paulo and the benefits that the presence of international organizers can bring, together with the size and strength of the economy (once the political situation is resolved), the outlook for Brazil is the best possible.

Until the middle of 2016, Brazil had Ligia Amorim as Vice President of America of the UFI. With her departure from the world of trade shows and this position, what is the work done by the UFI in Brazil like?

We are very grateful to Ligia for her invaluable support as Vice-President of our Latin American Chapter, and wish her all the best in the future. However, we are still very well supported in Brazil. We work closely with UBRAFE, as we do with all 55 national and regional associations that we work on to support them where we can. In addition, since last year, the Grupo Radar has become one of our official Media Partners that helps disseminate the UFI message within Brazil. Finally, we are grateful to our members for their support of our initiatives, including participation in the "Global Exhibition Barometer" survey.

Teremos algum outro representante brasileiro na vice-presidência do Capítulo?

Realizamos eleições de três em três anos para todos os nossos órgãos de tomada de decisão, incluindo os nossos Capítulos Regionais. A eleição será em junho de 2017. Assim, no início do próximo ano, estaremos em contato com nossos membros no Brasil para pedir que eles nomeiem seus candidatos para a posição. O Brasil é o maior país entre os membros da América Latina e, por isso, espero que exista um representante brasileiro ocupando uma posição. A cadeira de Capítulo também tem um assento no comitê executivo da UFI, que é uma posição com influência considerável.

Qual é a perspectiva para o setor de feiras na Europa com o "Brexit"? O que muda?

A próxima edição do nosso "barômetro", que mencionei há pouco, está em curso, mas quando realizamos a consulta pela última vez, no verão europeu (antes do referendo da União Europeia), a expectativa no Reino Unido era positiva, semelhante à da América do Norte. As perspectivas também eram boas em vários outros mercados europeus. Na Alemanha, porém, menos da metade dos participantes do estudo anteciparam um crescimento para o primeiro semestre de 2017, em comparação com 2016. Na Turquia, um número significativamente menor de empresas relataram lucros crescentes em comparação aos levantamentos anteriores do “barômetro”. A situação na Rússia permaneceu estável. RR

Will we have any other Brazilian representatives in the vice presidency of the Chapter?

We hold elections every three years for all our decision-making bodies, including our Regional Chapters. The election will be in June 2017. So, early next year, we will be in touch with our members in Brazil to ask them to nominate their candidates for the position. Brazil is the largest country among the members of Latin America and, therefore, I hope there is a Brazilian representative occupying a position. The chapter chair also has a seat on the executive committee of the UFI, which is a position with considerable influence.

What is the prospect for the trade fair industry in Europe with "Brexit"? What changes?

The next issue of our "Barometer," which I mentioned above, is under way, but when we last consulted, in the European Summer - and before the referendum of the European Union - the expectation in the UK was positive, similar to that of North America. Prospects were also good in several other European markets. In Germany, however, less than half of the study participants anticipated growth for the first half of 2017 compared to 2016. In Turkey, significantly fewer companies reported increasing profits compared to previous barometer surveys.

“Por causa do ferreiro, perdeu-se o prego; por causa do prego, perdeu-se a ferradura; por causa da ferradura, perdeu-se o cavalo; por causa do cavalo, perdeu-se o mensageiro; por causa do mensageiro, perdeu-se a carta; por causa da carta, perdeu-se a guerra”. Este antigo provérbio, creditado a diversos autores ao longo do tempo, contextualiza que pequenas variações entre duas situações iniciais podem conduzir, ao fim de um determinado intervalo de tempo, a desfechos muito diferentes. É o que cientificamente ficou determinado como a Teoria do Caos, conhecido também como Efeito Borboleta.

Pequenos detalhes, que muitas vezes passam despercebidos, podem também instaurar o caos nas pequenas, médias e grandes empresas. Todas as organizações possuem um serviço principal. Ou seja, uma indústria farmacêutica está preocupada em fazer remédios, o hospital, em fazer cirurgia, o banco, em fazer gestão financeira. Mas, paralelo a isto, existe uma série de serviços de suporte que amparam estas atividades. Antes de alguém entrar para fazer uma cirurgia, por exemplo, o centro cirúrgico tem de estar limpo e higienizado. No pós-operatório, o paciente vai para o quarto e precisa receber a refeição em uma hora certa e de maneira correta. Quem cuida disto não é a indústria farmacêutica ou o hospital. Quem cuida disso é o profissional de facilities.

“Todo o conjunto destas atividades, que dá suporte às outras atividades principais de outras organizações, é o que chamamos de facilities”, resume Thiago Santana, diretor de operações da ISS Facility Services.

São três grandes agentes principais neste segmento. O primeiro deles é o tomador de serviço, o segundo é o prestador de serviço e, o terceiro, a figura do gerenciador de facilities. “Onde eu trabalho é uma tomadora de serviços de facilities. Eu estou lá para gerenciar uma empresa que contratamos e que é responsável pela manutenção predial, limpeza, recepção e outros serviços”, exemplifica Cristiano Mantovani, gerente de facilities do laboratório Pfizer.

Mesmo com uma estimativa de movimentar cerca de R$ 100 bilhões por ano no Brasil, esta ainda é uma atividade conside-

This ancient proverb, credited to several authors over time, contextualizes that small variations between two initial situations can lead, to the end of a given time interval, to very different final situations. That is what was scientifically determined as the Chaos Theory, also known as the Butterfly Effect.

Small details, which often go unnoticed, can also instill chaos in small, medium and large companies. All organizations have a core service. That is, a pharmaceutical industry is concerned about making medicines, the hospital on doing surgery, the bank on doing financial management. But, in parallel there are a number of support services that are ancillary to these activities. Before someone goes in for surgery, for example, the operating room has to be cleaned and sanitized. In the postoperative period, the patient goes to the room and needs to receive the meal at the right time and in the right way. Who takes cares of it is not the pharmaceutical industry or the hospital. Who takes care of it is the facilities professional.

"The whole set of these activities, which support the other main activities of other organizations, is what we call facilities", summarizes Thiago Santana, Director of Operations of ISS Facility Services.

They are three major agents in this segment. The first one is the service taker, the second is the service provider, and the third is the figure of the facilities manager. "Where I work is a facilities services taker. I'm there to manage a company that we hired and which is responsible for building maintenance, cleaning, reception and other services ", exemplifies Cristiano Mantovani, facilities manager at Pfizer.

Even with an estimate of moving around R$ 100 billion per year in Brazil, this is still an activity considered new in Brazil. It is an opposite movement to other countries like Germany, Holland and United States that already possess a mature market and great

É um movimento contrário ao de outras nações, como Alemanha, Holanda e Estados Unidos, que já possuem um mercado maduro e grande desenvolvimento nesta área. “Esta área de infraestrutura sempre existiu, mas ela era tratada de uma maneira muito amadora. Construía-se um prédio e colocava-se alguém lá para tomar conta, sem muita especialização. E acreditava-se este ser o modelo adequado”, afirma Amilcar João Filho, gerente de engenharia e infraestrutura do SESC. As coisas passaram a mudar um pouco de figura no Brasil quando os prédios começaram a ficar mais modernos e houve os aumentos da exigência de serviços mais qualificados e da necessidade das empresas direcionarem mais esforços ao seu core business. “O serviço de facilities é essencial para que aconteça tudo na sua regularidade. Temos que ser invisíveis para que tudo aconteça todos os dias. A partir da hora que não somos mais invisíveis, é porque alguma coisa aconteceu”, explica Gislaine Ferronatto, gerente de facilities da Renault.

Este “poder invisível”, que de um lado significa que as coisas estão transcorrendo como o previsto, por outro, gera, em alguns casos, uma valoração incorreta dos agentes que atuam nesta área frente ao corpo diretivo da empresa. Por mais que atuem diariamente para que nada saia dos trilhos, é justamente nos momentos de crise que se é dado o maior valor, tirando-os de detrás da cortina para a ribalta.

“Hoje já temos papel chave no Plano de Continuidade de Negócios (Business Continuity Plan) das empresas. Os problemas vão desde uma coisa mais simples do dia a dia a até mais complexas, como uma

development in this field. "This field of infrastructure has always existed, but it was treated in a very amateurish way. A building was being built and there was someone to take care of it, without much specialization. And this was believed to be the right model", says Amilcar João Filho, Engineering and Infrastructure Manager at SESC. Things have begun to change a little bit in Brazil when buildings are becoming more modern, increasing the demand for more qualified services and the need for companies to focus more and more efforts on their core business. "The facilities service is essential so that everything happens in its regularity. We have to be invisible so that everything happens every day. From the moment we are no longer invisible, it is because something happened," explains Gislaine Ferronatto, Renault's facilities manager.

This "invisible power", which on the one hand means that things are going as planned, on the other hand generates in some cases an incorrect valuation of the agents who work in this field in front of the other management body of the company. Even working daily so that everything goes well, it is precisely in moments of crisis that the greatest value is given, pulling them from behind the curtain to the limelight. "Today we already have a key role in the Business Continuity Plan of companies. The problems range from the simplest thing of day-to-day to even more complex ones, such as a factory power outage, where you lose an entire production", says Luciano Brunherotto, President of (ABRAFAC). "In crisis is crisis is where the facilities can act. Depending on the size of the company, a stationary day generates

queda de energia na fábrica em que se perde uma produção inteira”, afirma Luciano Brunherotto, presidente da ABRAFAC. “Na crise é onde o facilities consegue agir. Dependendo do tamanho da empresa, um dia parado gera milhões de prejuízo", completa Mantovani.

Importante também para a sustentabilidade financeira, os gestores de facilities podem reduzir em até 20% o custo de operação das empresas, colocando sob sua tutela departamentos como operações e finanças e aplicando ferramentas de gestão que garantam otimização dos processos, maximização dos recursos e elevação do padrão de qualidade dos serviços. “A gestão do imóvel, a conta de água, de luz, limpeza.

Se olharmos todas estas pequenas coisinhas, pode ter certeza que será a segunda ou terceira maior despesa da empresa, só que ela está espalhada”, aponta Brunherotto. Ter estas atividades centralizadas permite uma visão abrangente, ao contrário de quando estão pulverizadas em vários departamentos, o que impede a percepção do valor e do nível dos serviços prestados e da demanda da empresa.

Profissional de facilities “Acho que estamos quebrando paradigmas. A área de facilities não era tão bem vista, com pessoas falando que não gostariam de trabalhar nesta área. Isto se quebrou e hoje temos pessoas que querem trabalhar neste setor. Mas o aprendizado segue na prática”. A afirmação é de Gislaine e reflete um paradoxo que o setor vive atualmente. Por mais que venha evoluindo e ganhando novos interessados em seguir uma carreira na área, ainda não existe no Brasil uma graduação para formar este profissional. Estados Unidos e Holanda, por exemplo, formam anualmente centenas de profissionais especializados no setor.

“Hoje temos no mercado um MBA ministrado pela USP, voltado para a área de gestão de facilities. Ele foi cursado pela maioria dos diretores e grandes gerentes de empresas. Temos também pequenos cursos de formação (40 horas) e mini-cursos (8 horas/16 horas) que estão voltados para pessoas em desenvolvimento”, diz Alexandre Lara, diretor da A&F Partners Consulting.

Lara, que assim como Thiago, Gislaine, Amilcar e Cristiano compõe a atual diretoria da ABRAFAC, explica que a associação já possui um projeto em andamento e em estágio avançado com uma instituição de ensino para que se monte um curso de extensão acadêmica para quem está realizando o curso de engenharia. A ideia é que o estudante se estenda mais alguns meses na graduação, abordando as principais áreas dentro

Also important for financial sustainability, facilities managers can reduce the operating cost of companies up to 20%, placing departments such as operations and finances under management, and applying management tools that guarantee optimization of processes, maximization of resources and standard of service quality. "The management of the property, the water bill, light, cleaning. If we look at all these little things, you can be sure that it will be the second or third biggest expense of the company, except that it is spread out", says Brunherotto. Having these activities centralized, allows a comprehensive view, unlike when they are sprayed across multiple departments, which impedes the perception of the value and level of services provided and the company's demand.

Facilities Professional "I think we are breaking paradigms. The facilities field was not so well regarded; with people talking they would not like to work in this field.

This has been broken and today we have people who want to work in this sector. However, learning goes on in practice". Gislaine's statement reflects a paradox the industry is currently experiencing. Even evolving and gaining new interested to pursue a career in this field, there is still no graduation in Brazil to train this professional. The United States and Holland, for example, train hundreds of professionals graduate annually in this sector.

"Today we have on the market an MBA offered by USP, focused on the field of facilities management. It was attended by most directors and large corporate managers. We also have small training courses (40 hours) and mini-courses (8 hours / 16 hours) that are aimed at people who are developing", says Alexandre Lara, Director of A&F Partners Consulting.

Lara, who as well as Thiago, Gislaine, Amilcar and Cristiano, make up the current board of ABRAFAC, explains that the association already has a project in progress and in an advanced stage with an educational institution to set up a course of academic extension for those who is taking the engineering course. The idea is to extend a few more months in the undergraduate course addressing the main fields within the facilities management. Engineers are today the main "occupants" of the positions of facilities managers in the companies, who also have architects, lawyers, accountants and so on. "The facilities professional is a person who likes to serve, to take care of people. For instance, it has much more to do with the profile. In this sense, the creation of this position is much more linked to how much the organization saw that this support function is essential

to deliver what is necessary. The companies that realized this sooner, were those who sought a greater professionalization of the function and the professional ", states Thiago Santana.

Concerning the future of the sector, ABRAFAC's idea is to continue investing in the training project, starting with an educational institution and expanding in the way that is possible, always thinking also about the quality of the course (of its teaching staff), so that they do not become marketing of hours of training. So far, the training will follow its current patterns, but with an evolution, as Alexandre Lara points out: "At first, you used to bring people from the market that had no experience working in this field. Today it is the same, but companies that already have internal facilities structures, look for suitable profiles and then they are inserted in the context with some tutor to be trained, having the learning in the daily life”.

Facilities and the events According to a survey carried out by ABRAFAC, more than 70% of service taker managers are also travel and event managers, responsible for corporate travel.

Organizing an event involves a lot of planning and attention to details in each of its steps.

The facilities field has a fundamental role again, so that the event meets expectations, providing support and technical support in the marketing and promotion events, or even acting in the organization when it is internal, aimed at employees. From the ECAD to the fire permit, accessibility issues, everything has the touch of the facilities managers.

"People, initially, when they go somewhere they seek the first needs. If you are going to bring people to a certain event you have to satisfy these conditions minimally like lighting, security, hygiene, food, water and etc. This is our main role", explains Amilcar. Predicting possible eventualities is also under the umbrella of the facilities manager, who takes care of elaborating a

As empresas que perceberam isso mais cedo, foram as que buscaram uma profissionalização maior da função e do profissional”, afirma Thiago Santana.

Preocupando-se com o futuro do setor, a ideia da ABRAFAC é seguir investindo no projeto de capacitação, começando com uma instituição de ensino e ampliando na medida do possível, porém sempre pensando na qualidade do curso e de sua equipe docente para que não se tornem uma comercialização de horas de treinamento. Por enquanto, a formação seguirá seus moldes atuais, mas com uma evolução, conforme aponta Alexandre Lara: “No início, você trazia pessoas do mercado que não tinham experiência nenhuma em trabalhar nesta área.

Hoje, ainda é assim, mas as empresas que já têm estruturas de facilities internas buscam por perfis adequados, e aí sim são inseridas no contexto, com algum tutor para ser treinada, tendo o aprendizado no dia a dia”.

Facilities e os eventos De acordo com levantamento realizado pela ABRAFAC, mais de 70% dos gestores tomadores de serviços são também gestores de viagens e eventos, e responsáveis pelas viagens corporativas.

Organizar um evento envolve muito planejamento e atenção a detalhes em todas as suas etapas. A área de facilities tem papel fundamental, novamente, para que o evento atenda às expectativas, dando suporte e apoio técnico no caso de eventos de marketing e promoção, ou então atuando na organização quando ele é interno, voltado aos colaboradores. Do ECAD ao alvará de bombeiros, questões de acessibilidade, tudo tem o toque dos gestores de facilities.

“As pessoas, inicialmente, quando vão a algum lugar, buscam as primeiras necessidades. Se você vai trazer pessoas para um determinado evento, você tem que satisfazer minimamente estas condições, como iluminação, segurança, higiene, alimentação, água, etc. Este é nosso papel principal”, explica Amilcar. Prever as possíveis eventualidades também está sob o guarda-chuva do gestor de facilities, que cuida de elaborar todo um plano de risco, conforme explica o gerente de engenharia e infraestrutura do SESC: “Se a energia acabar, vamos colocar gerador? Se o elevador parar, como transportamos as pessoas? Em princípio de incêndio e tumulto, como vamos evacuar a área?

Tudo isso tem que ser discutido com a nossa área, que precisa alertar os promotores dos eventos sobre estas questões”.

O cenário econômico nacional é promissor para o mercado de facilities que tende a se consolidar cada vez mais como uma solução eficaz para as empresas. Ainda existe muito espaço para crescimento e, principalmente, para profissionais que desejam atuar nesta área.

“Hoje podemos separar dentro da empresa o que é essencial, sua atividade-fim, e o que é fundamental, o que dá suporte a isso. Não dá para imaginar que uma empresa possa prestar o seu serviço na sua essência sem ter uma base, um suporte, uma infraestrutura adequaRR da”, finaliza Amilcar.

The national economic scenario is promising for the facilities market, which tends to consolidate more and more as an effective solution for companies. There is still a lot of room for growth and, especially, for professionals who wish to work in this field. "Today we can separate within the company what is essential, what its activity is, and what is fundamental, what supports it. A produção de calçados em 2015 ficou em 944 milhões de pares, 5,7% menor do que em 2014. A queda na demanda interna por calçados, de 5,3% entre 2013 e 2015, também é um indicativo das dificuldades encontradas pelo setor calçadista. Em 2015, o consumo ficou em 853,3 milhões de pares, ante 905,4 milhões, em 2014, e 952,4 milhões, em 2013. O uso da capacidade instalada da indústria de calçados, por sua vez, ficou em 72,9%, abaixo da verificada em 2014 (78,5%) e em 2013 (83,8%).

Quando as coisas não parecem muito bem, as feiras de negócios podem ser uma ótima ferramenta para incrementar as vendas e encontrar soluções inovadoras para deixar para trás a crise.

De olho em maneiras que é possível colaborar com o setor e seus expositores, a Couromoda, evento líder em lançamentos e vendas de calçados e acessórios na América Latina, traz uma novidade para 2017. Uma delas é o projeto Couromoda Fashion Factory. Trabalhando de maneira colaborativa com os expositores, convidando-os para participar, com seus produtos, das peças publicitárias, a ideia do projeto é que eles também possam utilizar o material produzido em seus planos de mídia pagando apenas pelos direitos das fotos, em uma forma de integrar a comunicação. Com isto, surge uma nova mídia colaborativa e de incentivo, pois a marca terá a campanha pronta e economizará gastos com produção, locação de cenário, modelos, estilistas, maquiadores e fotógrafos. Ao todo, 20 marcas participam do projeto.

Há algum tempo a promotora do evento também realiza outros projetos para beneficiar as pequenas, médias e grandes empresas. O primeiro deles, o “Minha Primeira Couromoda”, envolve dois grandes objetivos em especial: de um lado, microempresas têm a oportunidade de participar pela primeira vez da Couromoda, fazendo negócios e ampliando relacionamentos; do outro, a feira passa a oferecer uma diversidade ainda maior de opções de compra para lojistas de todo o Brasil e do exterior.

When things do not look very good, business fairs can be a great tool to boost sales and find innovative solutions to leave the crisis behind.

Looking for ways to collaborate with the sector and its exhibitors, Couromoda, a leading event in Latin American launches and sales of footwear and accessories, brings a novelty to 2017. One of them is the Couromoda Fashion Factory project.

Working collaboratively with exhibitors, inviting them to participate with their advertising products, the idea of the project is that they can also use the material produced in their media plans, paying only for the rights of the photos, integrating the communication. With this, a new collaborative and incentive media emerges, because the brand will have the campaign ready and will save costs with production, scenario rentals, models, stylists, make-up artists and photographers. Overall, 20 brands participate in the project.

For some time now the promoter of the event has carried out other projects to benefit small, medium and large companies. São Paulo Prêt–à-Porter In parallel to Couromoda, another edition of the São Paulo Prêtà-Porter, a fair of the large-production confection sector in Brazil will be held. For 2017, the fair gains a new entrance, VIP parking for invited shopkeepers of the exhibitors and exhibition with new stylists. In addition to the exhibition and the São Paulo Prêt-à-Porter Fashion Forum (with lectures on trends in fashion, management, visual merchandising, leadership and design), the event presents an interactive space in partnership with Rica Benozzati, who invited important names from the market to make a careful selection of clothing, art and photography pieces to be exhibited. Há algum tempo a pauta principal em diversos segmentos da economia mundial vem sendo a sustentabilidade e os cuidados com o meio ambiente. O mundo da moda que está sempre atualizado e lançando tendências não poderia ficar de fora dessa e criou a chamada ecofashion, moda ecológica ou eco moda.

Dentro deste conceito, a sustentabilidade no mundo fashion vem sendo debatida desde a sua produção até o consumo, prezando pelo respeito tanto ao meio ambiente quanto à sociedade.

Não é de hoje que a indústria procura formas de produzir peças que não explorem os recursos naturais de forma predatória, na tentativa de juntar design, tecnologia e ecologia. Hoje, já é possível produzir algodão orgânico, fibra de bambu e tantos outros materiais para a produção de tecidos ecologicamente corretos.

Para ser classificado como orgânico, o algodão deve ser produzido sem a utilização de pesticidas ou inseticidas e, durante o processo de tingimento, os pigmentos devem ser naturais. Outra opção é a fibra de bambu, que é naturalmente antibactericida, biodegradável e macia. A planta é altamente renovável, já que possui crescimento rápido e sua produção é abundante mesmo sem uso de pesticidas ou fertilizantes. Até a partir de garrafas Pet é possível confeccionar uma bela peça de vestuário. O plástico utilizado na composição das garrafas é reciclado e transformado em fibras com tecido forte, mas macio.

Outra forma de trabalhar em prol da natureza é reaproveitando tecidos, couro ou materiais sintéticos descartados. Na parte de acessórios, as ecojoias e biojoias estão sendo produzidos com matérias-primas recicladas ou naturais. Até mesmo as bolsas ganharam a moda ecológica com as ecobags.

O segmento nunca para e é preciso estar sempre a par das novidades para levar ao consumidor final todas as tendências para a próxima temporada. E qual melhor maneira de ter este conhecimento do que participando de feiras e eventos voltados para o setor? Abrindo o calendário de eventos do segmento neste ano, a FENIN Fashion São Paulo (FFSP) reunirá de 15 a 18 de janeiro, no Anhembi, mais de 150 marcas da indústria de confecções para apresentar as novi-

It is well known that the industry looks for ways to produce pieces that do not exploit natural resources in a predatory way, but at the same time seeking to bring design, technology and ecology together. Today, it is possible to produce organic cotton, bamboo fiber and many other materials for the production of eco-friendly fabrics.

To be classified as organic, cotton must be produced without pesticides or insecticides, and during the dyeing process the pigments must be natural. Another option is bamboo fiber, which is naturally antibacterial, biodegradable and soft. The plant is highly renewable since its growth is fast and its production is abundant without pesticides or fertilizers. Even with PET bottles it is possible to make a beautiful piece of clothing. The plastic used in the bottles composition is recycled and processed into fibers with strong, and at the same time, soft fabric.

Another way to work for nature is to reuse fabrics, leather or discarded synthetic materials. As for the accessories, eco-jewels and bio-jewels are being produced with recycled or natural raw materials, even bags got the ecological fashion with eco-bags.

The segment never stops, and it is always necessary to be aware of the news to bring to the final consumer all trends for next season, and what is the best way to be aware of that than participating in trade fairs and events focused in the sector? Opening the event calendar of the sector this year, FENIN Fashion São Paulo (FFSP) will gather from January 15th to 18th, at Anhembi more than 150 brands in the apparel industry to present the autumn/ winter season news and features. Complementing São Paulo's event, the traditional

Complementando a FFSP, a já tradicional edição do evento realizado em Gramado, no Rio Grande do Sul (FFRS) tem início seis dias após o término da edição paulista e contará com cerca de 600 expositores e mais de 2.000 marcas. Ambos os eventos contam com diversas atrações, desfiles e a participação de celebridades.

Procurando sempre levar o melhor para os expositores, a organização das feiras faz um trabalho com hotéis há 20 anos comprando diárias e distribuindo para cerca de três mil lojistas. “Para cada feira nós compramos cerca de 9.500 diárias gratuitas e bancadas pelo nosso expositor.

Fazemos isto para garantir a participação da grande maioria dos lojistas. Além disso, movimentamos o turismo, principalmente em Gramado“, conta Julio Viana, promotor e diretor geral da Fenin Feiras.

Paralelo a FFRS, a New Stage irá realizar o Salão Lingerie Brasil Sul. O evento, voltado para a moda íntima, reúne as principais marcas do país para apresentar as coleções de outono/inverno 2017. Aliando conforto, tecnologia, qualidade e design exclusivo, a DelRio chega ao evento cheia de novidades. “Estaremos apresentando a coleção completa e cerca de 30 lançamentos. Estarão no evento todas as marcas que compõem o nosso portfólio: DelRio, Miss DelRio, RioMan, Kids Club e Playboy”, adianta Vanda Monte, coordenadora de Marketing da grife.

O que começou como uma Lan Party na Espanha, em 1997, tornou-se o maior evento mundial de inovação digital do mundo, a Campus Party. A primeira edição, em Málaga, encontrou um público tão entusiasmado que o evento cresceu e se internacionalizou, tendo Inglaterra, Alemanha, Colômbia, México, Equador e El Salvador como outros países-sede. Mas, sem dúvida, uma das maiores histórias de sucesso do evento está no Brasil, que realizará em 2017 a sua décima edição em São Paulo.

O número de “Campus Partys” tende a aumentar muito ainda no decorrer dos anos. No início de 2015, foi anunciado que o Instituto Campus Party, a Futura Networks da Espanha e a MCI Group (empresa suíça com operação em mais de 30 países) haviam fechado uma parceria para a ampliação do evento. A MCI se responsabilizaria por expandir o evento para outras regiões, de forma a levar a cultura digital para cidades e países ainda não explorados.

“Estamos conversando com prefeitos e governadores de diversas regiões que têm interesse em levar o evento para a sua cidade. Para viabilizar um evento como a Campus, precisamos do apoio institu-

But undoubtedly one of the biggest success stories of the event is in Brazil, which will hold its tenth edition in São Paulo, in 2017.

But the number of "Campus Parties" tends to increase a lot over the years. At the beginning of 2015, it was announced that the Campus Party Institute, the Futura Networks of Spain and the MCI Group (a Swiss company operating in more than 30 countries) had a partnership to expand the event. The MCI would be responsible for expanding the event to other regions in order to bring the digital culture to cities and countries not yet explored.

“We are talking with mayors and governors from different regions who are interested in taking the event to your city. In order to make an event like the Campus feasible, we need the institutional support of either the city or government so that the event actually occurs in

cional, seja da prefeitura ou do governo, para que de fato o evento ocorra nas dimensões e na qualidade que é esperado. Mas, até em função do nosso calendário político, as conversas ainda estão fase inicial”, explica Tonico Novaes, diretor geral da Campus Party Brasil.

Para 2017, além do evento em São Paulo, já estão confirmadas uma edição em Brasília (entre 14 e 18 de junho de 2017) e uma em Belo Horizonte (em setembro de 2017). “Estamos sendo procurados por outras cidades para a realização do evento, mas as conversas ainda estão em fase inicial e devemos ter novidades ao longo dos próximos meses”, completa Tonico.

Na capital paulista, o evento será realizado no Anhembi e a organização está preparando um evento especial para comemorar. A Campus Party Brasil (CPBR10) será repleta de novidades, tanto na área do camping – onde os campuseiros terão uma padaria - quanto no conteúdo e nas atrações da área Campus Experience, que é gratuita e aberta ao público.

Entre os palestrantes já confirmados estão Pete Bethune, eco-guerreiro mais conhecido do mundo, que dedica sua via a expor os criminosos ambientais e a proteger a vida selvagem e os ecossistemas, e o grafiteiro e muralista Eduardo Kobra.

“Fechamos também uma parceria com o Programa das Nações Unidas para o Desenvolvimento (PNUD) para a realização de um big hackathon, no qual as equipes participantes terão de criar soluções para o cumprimento de metas dos 17 Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável (ODS), que devem ser implementados por todos os países do mundo até 2030”, afirma Tonico.

Até o fechamento desta edição, ainda não havia sido batido o martelo sobre a empresa que fornecerá a internet para a Campus Party. O trabalho era realizado pela Telefônica, mas ela deixou o evento. A organização afirmou que está em negociações avançadas com algumas empresas.

“Mas por enquanto, não podemos ainda abrir essa informação”, ressalta o diretor geral.

Há algumas décadas atrás para comprar uma passagem aérea era necessário se deslocar até uma agência de viagens, pegar fila e pagar preços altos por qualquer que fosse a rota. Para assistir a um filme deitado na cama ou estendido no sofá era preciso ir até a uma locadora alugar um DVD ou VHS. Para pagar as contas no banco eram desperdiçadas boas horas na fila do caixa. Com o surgimento da internet tudo isso mudou e os nascidos há algumas gerações sabem bem disso.

Junto com a internet surgiu o e-commerce (abreviação em inglês de eletronic commerce, que significa comércio eletrônico em português). No Brasil, a história desse facilitador de compra e venda começou há 21 anos quando Jack London criou o que é considerado o primeiro e-commerce brasileiro, a Booknet.

No início as primeiras lojas virtuais comercializavam produtos que não gerariam grandes perdas aos clientes caso não fossem entregues, já que, a desconfiança sobre a entrega da mercadoria e a veracidade dos produtos eram enormes.

Segundo pesquisa realizada pela consultoria Bain & Company, no Brasil o e-commerce deve crescer 11% ao ano até 2019. Em 2015, o faturamento chegou a marca de US$ 11 bilhões, após quatro anos de evolução a expectativa é que esse valor tenha um aumento em US$ 16 bilhões.

Em 2016, o SEBRAE e E-Commerce Brasil divulgaram dados da 3ª Pesquisa Nacional do Varejo Online, em que o ranking dos principais setores de atuação no e-commerce conta com a liderança da moda e logo atrás aparece a categoria Casa e Decoração, que alcançou 13% de atuação no mercado online. E por falar no setor de casa e decoração, os profissionais do ramo têm local certo para se encontrar, promover a geração de negócios e ficar por dentro das tendências e novidades do ano na Brazilian International Gift Fair.

O evento promovido pela Laço completa 54 edições entre os dias 12 a 15 de fevereiro e movimenta diversos setores da economia. Brazil is considered one of the ten world’s largest international event organizers, according to The International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA). With an average annual growth of 14%, according to the Ministry of Tourism, the event market drives an average of R$ 209.2 billion, i.e., 4.32% from GDP. According to The Global Business Travel Association (GBTA), Brazil is the eighth largest corporate travel market in the world, with real growth possibilities. Highlighting that the M.I.C.E. Tourist (English Acronym for Meetings, Incentive, Conferences and Exhibitions) spends an average of $ 329.39 a day, four times more than the leisure tourist.

On February 21, this year, the WTC Convention Center will be the venue for the 12th edition of ESFE - Fair and Events Sector Meeting, where industry leaders meet to discuss the new paths of this industry. At the same time, the 6th edition of the Forum of the Fairs and Events Sector will take place, with the participation of big names in the market, bringing their point of view and experience on each of the topics addressed.

ESFE aiming to promote creative ideas, bring together leaders and addressing the growth of the Business Tourism sector, building on three important pillars: Relationship, Business Generation and Content. Considered the most important event of this segment in Brazil, the event will feature major sector leaders, including: Promoters, Exhibition Centers, Convention Centers, Airlines, Hotel Chains, Service Providers, Event Agencies, Marketing and Live Marketing, Hosted Buyers, Purchasing Managers, Facilities and Incentive Travels.

Com crescimento médio de 14% ao ano, conforme dados do Ministério do Turismo, o mercado de eventos movimenta uma média de R$ 209,2 bilhões, ou seja, 4,32% do PIB. Segundo a The Global Business Travel Associaton (GBTA), o Brasil é o oitavo maior mercado de viagens corporativas no mundo, com possibilidades reais de crescimento. Destacando que o turista de M.I.C.E. (sigla em inglês para Encontros, Incentivos, Conferências e Feiras) gasta uma média de US$ 329,39 por dia, quatro vezes mais que o turista de lazer.

Em 21 de fevereiro deste ano, o WTC Convention Center será palco da 12ª edição do ESFE – Encontro do Setor de Feiras e Eventos, local onde os líderes do setor se encontram para discutir os rumos do segmento. Em paralelo, acontecerá a 6ª edição do Fórum do Setor de Feiras e Eventos, que terá a participação de grandes nomes do mercado expondo seus pontos de vista e experiências sobre cada um dos temas abordados.

O ESFE pretende promover ideias criativas, reunir líderes e abordar o crescimento do setor de Turismo de Negócios, baseando-se em três importantes pilares: Relacionamento, Geração de Negócios e Conteúdo. Considerado o mais importante evento do Brasil neste segmento, contará com presença das principais lideranças dos setores, entre: promotores de feiras, pavilhões de exposições, centros de convenções, companhias aéreas, redes hoteleiras, prestadores de serviços, agências de eventos, marketing e live marketing, hosted buyers, gestores de compras, facilities e de viagens de incentivo.

te de conteúdo. “O setor de feiras passa por uma profunda transformação que visa melhorar tanto a participação dos expositores como a experiência de visitação. Mais que geração de negócios, as feiras atualmente são centros de atualização de conhecimento, com alguns pontos a serem revistos e outros construídos”, explica a escolha do tema o CEO do Grupo Radar & TV e idealizador do evento, Otavio Neto.

O primeiro painel tem início às 9h, com o tema “Momento de Disrupção”. O mercado está em intensa mudança e é chegada a hora de quebrar certos paradigmas para se pensar de uma maneira nova e diferente.

Já o segundo painel, no período da tarde, traz um panorama atual de todo o setor: “M.I.C.E. – Mercado em quatro letras”. Com início às 16h, ele conta com a participação de representantes de cada letra deste mercado para discutir seu atual momento e o futuro deste segmento no Brasil e na América Latina. Além do lounge de relacionamento, com a presença de cerca de 80 marcas, o ESFE conta com Rodadas de Negócios em dois períodos, realizadas em parceria com a Associação Brasileira de Facilities (ABRAFAC).

Anualmente, o ESFE homenageia os líderes e executivos que se destacaram dentro de todos estes segmentos que congregam o evento. Neste ano, não será diferente, com 30 homenagens. “Durante o ano inteiro temos contato e escutamos os quatro agentes deste setor: o local onde é feita a feira, seu promotor, o visitante e o expositor. Graças a isso sabemos exatamente quais são as necessidades e deficiências de todos. Com estas informações, criamos o ESFE, quando não existia ainda nenhum RR voltado a este setor”, finaliza Otavio.

Every year, the ESFE honors the leaders and executives who have stood out in all these segments covered by the event. This year will be no different - the event will count with 30 honorees.

"During the whole year, we have contacted and listened to the four agents of this sector: the venue that holds fair, its promoter, visitors and exhibitors. Thanks to this, we know exactly where are all needs and deficiencies. With this information, we created the ESFE, when there was no event focused on this sector", RR concludes Otavio.

O ano de 2016 não foi fácil para a economia brasileira. O setor de hotelaria não escapou ileso das turbulências políticas e econômicas que atingiram o país. Se por um lado a Meliá Hotels International registrou em sua operação global números promissores nos primeiros nove meses de 2016 (lucro líquido de 92,2 milhões de euros, 74% a mais que no mesmo período de 2015), no Brasil foi um pouco diferente.

“Ainda estamos sofrendo as consequências da economia que nos atrapalha bastante, mas estamos firmes. Acreditamos que as coisas vão mudar e dentro de alguns anos vamos poder falar que estamos em uma situação bem melhor do que estamos hoje”, afirma Rui Manuel Oliveira, vice-presidente da Meliá Hotels International Brasil.

2016 was not easy for the Brazilian economy. The hotel sector did not escape unharmed from the political and economic turmoil that hit the country. While on the one hand Meliá Hotels International registered promising numbers with its global operation in the first nine months of 2016 with a net profit of 92.2 million euros, 74% more than in the same period of 2015 -, in Brazil, things were a little different.

“We are still suffering from the consequences of the economy, which gets in the way a lot, but we are steady. We believe that things will change and, in a few years, we will be able to say that we are in a much better situation than we are today," says Rui Manuel Oliveira, vice president of Meliá Hotels International Brasil.

The confidence that the market will resume normality can be seen in the investments of the hotel chain in the country, which kept moving forward even at this complex time. In July, the network carried out the conversion of Tryp Campinas into Meliá (Meliá Campinas), an enterprise focused on business tourism. With 308 comfortable and modern apartments, the hotel offers a restaurant, swimming pool, fitness center, sauna, business center and 4 meeting and event rooms with capacities rang-

A confiança de que o mercado voltará à normalidade pode ser visto nos investimentos da rede hoteleira no país, que seguiram em frente mesmo neste momento complexo. Em julho, a rede realizou a conversão do Tryp Campinas em Meliá (Meliá Campinas), empreendimento voltado para o turismo de negócios. Com 308 apartamentos confortáveis e modernos, o hotel oferece restaurante, piscina, fitness center, sauna, business center e ainda quatro salas de reunião e eventos com capacidades entre 20 e 300 pessoas, em diversas configurações.

Em agosto, a empresa inaugurou o Tryp Pernambuco, localizado em Jaboatão dos Guararapes. São 192 apartamentos com vista para o mar, distribuídos em 24 andares, e um “foyer” espaçoso, que comporta diversos tipos de eventos, como coquetéis, vernissages, apresentações e coffee breaks.

O salão de eventos e convenções é modulável e tem capacidade para até 200 pessoas.

Mas a grande cereja do bolo, que fecha esta trinca de ases da empresa, é o Gran Meliá Nacional Rio, um ícone da hotelaria do Rio de Janeiro que foi aberto nos anos 70 e ficou 21 anos fechado. Inaugurado em dezembro, o hotel segue o conceito de um resort urbano, com amplas áreas sociais, restaurantes, bares, piscinas e conexão com a praia de São Conrado. “Estamos lançando um produto que, embora novo, traz consigo toda a sua história que o caracterizou”, explica Rui. São 413 habitações, sendo que 75 delas ficam no Red Level. Suíte presidencial, spa com marca internacional (o francês Clarins) e restaurante na cobertura são algumas das atrações do cinco estrelas de São Conrado. Nos próximos anos, também estará totalmente concluído seu centro de convenções, que terá capacidade para cinco mil pessoas e abrirá mais uma oportunidade para eventos na cidade maravilhosa.

“Acho que em 2017 já vamos começar a sentir resultados melhores. Na hotelaria existe um clima muito propício e estamos acreditando nisto. Estamos com alguns projetos novos e iremos conseguir superar RR esta crise”, finaliza Rui.

There are 192 apartments overlooking the sea, spread over 24 floors and a spacious foyer, which holds various types of events such as cocktails, vernissages, presentations and coffee breaks. The Events and Conventions hall is modular and can accommodate up to 200 people.

But the big cherry on top of the cake, which closes this set of aces for the company, is the Gran Meliá Nacional Rio, an icon of the hotel industry in Rio de Janeiro that was opened in the 70's and remained closed for 21 years. Inaugurated in December, the hotel follows the concept of an urban resort, with large social areas, restaurants, bars, swimming pools and connection to the beach of São Conrado. "We are launching a product that, although new, brings with it all its history, which characterized it," explains Rui. There are 413 houses, 75 of which are on the Red Level. Presidential suite, international branded spa (the French Clarins) and a rooftop restaurant are some of the five star attractions of São Conrado. In the coming years, its Convention Center will also be fully completed, which will accommodate five thousand people and open another opportunity for events in the wonderful city.

“I think that, in 2017, we will start to feel better results, there is a very favorable climate in the hotel industry and we believe in it. We have some new projects and we will be able to RR overcome this crisis", concludes Rui.

O São Paulo Expo recebeu alguns dos mais importantes eventos realizados no país neste ano, entre eles, o Salão Internacional do Automóvel de São Paulo. Todos eles atraíram milhares de pessoas, e o apoio da CET foi bem-vindo no sentido de tornar a experiência do visitante ainda melhor, já que, além de toda a infraestrutura oferecida pelo espaço, pudemos contar com agentes monitorando o trânsito no local.

A atuação da CET é importante para auxiliar nas vias de acesso, direcionando o público a fazer um trajeto mais tranquilo. Porém, é um serviço com custo elevado para os promotores (taxa pela quantidade de pessoas + locação de materiais de sinalização + agentes). Com isso, dependendo do evento, a preferência é realizá-lo em hotéis, onde a taxa é mínima. No entanto, os centros de eventos acabam sendo prejudicados.

The São Paulo Expo some of the most important events held in the country, among them, the International Motor Show of São Paulo. All attracted thousands of people, the support of the CET was welcome without meaning to make an experience of the visitor even better, since, in addition to an infrastructure offered by space, we could rely on agents to monitor non-local traffic.

Nos meus tempos de residência médica, na década de 90, era dogma em endocrinologia que a andropausa masculina não existia e que o nível dos hormônios masculinos ficava constante até o final da vida. De alguns anos para cá, com o aprimoramento das dosagens dos hormônios masculinos, percebeu-se que muitos homens ficam com níveis hormonais abaixo do normal e que a reposição da testosterona para estes era acompanhada de melhora dos sintomas.

Primeiramente, preciso avisar que, nos homens que apresentam níveis normais de testosterona, a reposição da mesma não provoca efeito nenhum e pode ser até deletéria. A principal causa de falta de testosterona é o excesso de peso e, nos demais casos, o próprio envelhecimento celular, alterações de testículos ou hipófise.

Os sintomas são claros, sendo o principal deles a falta de libido, mas podem ocorrer outros associados ou não, como depressão, insônia, osteoporose, aumento de gordura abdominal e mais. O tratamento ideal não utiliza a via oral porque é hepatotóxica. Normalmente, é utilizada a via transdérmica (gel) ou intramuscular (injeções).

A resposta ao tratamento é muito boa e ocorrem melhora de humor, autoconfiança, maior rigidez nas ereções, diminuição da circunferência abdominal e vários outros sintomas. A questão do câncer de próstata não é correlacionada com reposição hormonal adequada em pacientes com déficit de testosterona.

Enfim, procure seu médico e realize uma dosagem hormonal porque hoje em dia o tratamento é seguro, eficaz RR e tem bom resultados.

In my medical residency, in the 90’s it was dogma in endocrinology that male late-onset hypogonadism did not exist, and that the level of male hormones remained constant until the end of life. From a few years to now, with the improvement of the dosages of male hormones, it has been noticed that many men are having hormone levels below the average and that the replacement of testosterone for these ones was accompanied by improvement of symptoms.

Firstly, I need to tell you that in men who have normal levels of testosterone, the replacement of the same has no effect at all and may even be harmful. The main cause of lack of testosterone is overweight, and, in other cases, cell ageing or changes in the testicles or pituitary gland.

The symptoms are clear, and the main one is the lack of libido, but they may occur associated or not with: depression, insomnia, osteoporosis, increased abdominal fat and more. The ideal treatment does not use the oral administration, because it is hepatotoxic. Normally, transdermal (gel) or intramuscular (injections) administration is used.

The response to the treatment is very good and there is an improvement in mood, and self-confidence, increased stiffness in the erections, decreased in the abdominal circumference and several other symptoms. Prostate cancer is not correlated with adequate hormone replacement in patients with testosterone deficiency.

Anyway, search your doctor and do a hormonal dosage, because nowadays the treatment is safe RR and effective and it has good results.

As previsões que fiz para 2016, em sua ampla maioria, se confirmaram, inclusive o impeachment de Dilma e, notadamente, o crescimento da bolsa de valores.

Nestas análises astrológicas, o ano começa em 20 de março, com o equinócio de outono (no hemisfério sul). Assim, o mapa celeste que rege o ano vale até fins de março de 2017, quando, então, poderemos avaliar o novo período.

Portanto, ainda neste início de ano estamos sob a égide de um mapa difícil e com aspectos tensos no que tange ao desenvolvimento econômico. Chegamos a um ponto em que as rupturas se fazem presentes e os setores de negócios não decolaram ainda. Isto vai até março/17, quando a configuração muda novamente.

De março/17 em diante a economia poderá apresentar sinais concretos de melhorias, contudo ainda bem devagar. Confusões políticas e uma oposição forte ao governo trarão de volta sentimentos de incerteza e de medo nos investidores internacionais.

A economia mundial também não estará colaborando com o Brasil, de forma que o ingresso de capital estrangeiro ainda será modesto.

Mas, dentro do deserto existe o oásis, que poderá ser visto no setor agropecuário, de energia e petroquímico. As exportações agrícolas e de matérias-primas poderão também ser um alento para o equilíbrio das contas.

Outro setor que tende a melhorar – vagarosamente – é o da construção civil, notadamente dentro do programa Minha Casa, Minha Vida ou algo similar ainda a ser criado pelo governo.

Na Astrologia tradicional, será um ano de Saturno, o Senhor do Carma, aquele que traz a conta a ser paga! Portanto, não devemos esperar muito de 2017. O desemprego pode até diminuir, mas não o suficiente para comemorações.

Profissionais de diversos segmentos da comunicação estiveram reunidos no final de novembro para assistir à inspiração do AMPRO Live Festival, o primeiro festival de criatividade organizado pela AMPRO – Associação de Marketing Promocional. O encontro aconteceu em São Paulo, mas teve transmissão via streaming para todo o país.

A ideia foi reunir criativos de diversos segmentos, como artes, digital, design, TV, arquitetura, entre outros.

Com a abertura apresentada por Célio Ashcar Junior e por Wilson Ferreira Junior, o primeiro painel, “Criar, Fazer, Transmitir e Encantar”, foi organizado pela Rede Globo, com as participações de Sergio Valente, diretor de Comunicação da empresa, Carlos Henrique Nascimento, diretor de Desenvolvimento Comercial da área de negócios, e do apresentador da emissora, Serginho Groisman.

Citando as iniciativas da Globo, Valente defendeu que as marcas devem ser maiores que as empresas e que devem acompanhar o movimento das pessoas. Já Nascimento comentou sobre a importância da combinação de fatores, como diversos tipos de ações e plataformas, para atrair o público final.

Na sequência, apresentado por Milton Santana, VP Nacional da AMPRO, Átila Francucci, responsável pela coordenação da campanha de João Doria (PSDB) à Prefeitura de São Paulo, apresentou o sucesso do case “João, Trabalhador”, que ajudou o tucano a conseguir a primeira vitória em turno único da história da capital paulista. A ação durou 90 dias.

Em seguida, o VP de Comunicação da AMPRO, Maurício Magalhães, entrevistou Bob Wollheim, co-fundador da Much More, founding partner da youPIX e head of Digital do Grupo ABC, sobre o tema Digital First - Vida Real. Para ele, as redes sociais são a materialização da necessidade que a sociedade sempre teve de se relacionar: “Só mudou a velocidade”.

Professionals from different segments of communication gathered at the end of November to watch the inspiration of the AMPRO Live Festival, the first festival of creativity organized by AMPRO – Associação de Marketing Promocional (Promotional Marketing Association). The meeting took place in São Paulo, but it was streamed all over the country.

The idea was to bring together creative people from diverse segments, such as arts, digital, design, TV, architecture, among others.

The opening was presented by Célio Ashcar Junior and Wilson Ferreira Junior, the first panel, “Criar, Fazer, Transmitir e Encantar” (Create, Make, Transmit and Enchant), was organized by Rede Globo, with the participation of Sergio Valente, Communication director, Carlos Henrique Nascimento, Business Development Director of Globo Business Area and the host of the TV station, Serginho Groisman.

Citing Globo's initiatives, Valente sustained that brands should be bigger than companies and that they must accompany the movement of people. Nascimento commented on the importance of the combination of factors, such as various types of actions and platforms, to attract the final audience.

Following, presented by the National VP of AMPRO, Milton Santana, Áttila Francucci, responsible for the coordinating of João Doria Jr's campaign, presented the success of the case “João, Trabalhador” (João, Worker), with the first candidacy of a Mayor in the first turn in the history of São Paulo, with an action that lasted 90 days. Elton Henrique da Silva, Jeferson da Silva e Michel Onguer, criadores do Ciclo Social Arte, mostraram a criatividade na arte em muros, com propostas que valorizam e revitalizam as áreas urbanas e levam arte aos moradores das periferias.

Claudio Rocha, designer, tipógrafo, editor e representante brasileiro da Associação Tipográfica Internacional, levou inspiração da tipografia, mostrou a evolução das letras, matrizes e trabalhos que combinam texto e imagens de forma criativa para as marcas. Joni Galvão, fundador da The Plot Company, falou sobre a importância do storytelling.

O último Live Talks foi com Guto Índio da Costa, coordenador do núcleo de design da Índio da Costa A.U.D.T., sobre Design e Arquitetura. Costa comentou sobre a beleza por trás do design e sobre o uso criativo do design para transformar hábitos e costumes de um público.

Como será 2017? Quem terá medo deste novo ano? O que fazer?

Terá medo de 2017 aquele empresário ou empreendedor que não entender que as vantagens comparativas do Brasil ainda são muito atraentes para os investidores. O mundo está a cada dia mais complexo. Ninguém sabe como será o governo Trump nos Estados Unidos.

Ninguém consegue prever as consequências reais da saída da Grã-Bretanha da União Europeia, nem do crescimento dos partidos radicais de direita na Europa e no resto do mundo. Ninguém pode prever o que acontecerá com a Síria, com a Turquia, com o Oriente Médio, com a China, com a Rússia, com o Sudeste Asiático ou com a Venezuela.

O mundo nunca esteve tão conturbado, afirmam os mais abalizados analistas internacionais das grandes universidades de todo o mundo.

O Brasil tem um estoque genético riquíssimo, que estimula a adaptação e a tolerância. Temos a maior população de alemães fora da Alemanha; japoneses fora do Japão; italianos fora da Itália. Temos mais libaneses no Brasil do que no Líbano! Isso nos faz um país tolerante e quase imune a fundamentalismos. Não temos problemas étnicos ou religiosos sensíveis no Brasil. Temos um território de mais de oito milhões de quilômetros quadrados falando um único idioma e não temos problemas de fronteira. Estamos entre as cinco maiores democracias do mundo, com instituições consolidadas e independentes.

E mais do que isso, temos terra, sol, água e tecnologia para abastecer um planeta cada vez mais faminto.

Além disso, sabemos de forma clara as reformas que temos de fazer (previdência, trabalhista, política). Temos um povo que acordou do seu torpor de décadas, aprendeu a exigir seus direitos e não permitirá mais os engodos do passado, desde a corrupção desenfreada até o populismo inconsequente.

Assim, terá medo de 2017 aquele empresário que ficar esperando e não se preparar para a retomada do crescimento que começará neste novo ano. Terá medo o profissional que não se preparar e não se tornar mais competente e comprometido; o político corrupto; o executivo pouco ético e corruptor; e a empresa que espera que o governo a socorra. Enfim, aquele brasileiro que não acreditar que o mundo mudou, que o Brasil mudou e que agora é hora de começar a mudar. Terão medo os mesmos que sempre ficaram parados no acostamento torcendo para que a nebline não baixe e que o Brasil não dê certo.

The businessman or entrepreneur who does not understand that the comparative advantages of Brazil are still very attractive to investors will be afraid of 2017. The world is becoming more and more complex. Nobody knows what the Trump government will be like in the United States. No one can predict the real consequences of Britain's exit from the European Union, nor the growth of rightwing radical parties in Europe and the rest of the world. No one can predict what will happen to Syria, Turkey, the Middle East, China, Russia and Southeast Asia or Venezuela. The world has never been so troubled, say the most respected international analysts at major universities around the world.

Brazil has a very rich genetic stock that stimulates adaptation and tolerance, we have the largest population of Germans outside of Germany; of Japanese out of Japan; Italians outside Italy. We have more Lebanese in Brazil than in Lebanon! This makes us a tolerant country, almost immune to fundamentalisms. We do not have sensitive ethnic or religious problems in Brazil. We have a territory of more than eight million square kilometers speaking a single language and we do not have border problems. We are among the five largest democracies in the world, with established and independent institutions, and more than that, we have land, sun, water and technology to supply an increasingly hungry planet.

In addition, we clearly know the reforms we have to do - pension, labor, politics - and we have a people who have awakened from their decades old torpor and has learned to demand their rights and will no longer allow the deceptions of the past, from rampant corruption to inconsequential populism.

So, the entrepreneur who waits and does not prepare for the resumption of growth that will begin this New Year will be afraid of 2017. The professional who does not prepare himself by becoming more competent and committed will be afraid; the corrupt politician; the unethical and corrupting executive; the company that waits for the government to help, finally, that Brazilian who does not believe that the world has changed, that Brazil has changed and that now is the time to start changing. Anyway, the same ones who have always stood on the side of the road hoping that the fog will not go down and that Brazil will not work will be afraid.

Em 1922, os portugueses Gago Coutinho e Sacadura Cabral concluíram a primeira travessia aérea do Atlântico Sul. Partindo de Lisboa, os aviadores aterrissaram, no dia 17 de junho, no Rio de Janeiro. Exatos 44 anos depois do feito, também em 17 de junho, a cidade maravilhosa recebeu centenas de portugueses que chegavam de Portugal.

Era o início dos voos da TAP rumo ao Brasil, que completou, no ano passado, 50 anos. Mais da metade de sua vida a companhia aérea (que possui 70 anos), passou ligando o velho continente ao novo mundo. “O Brasil tem sido um importante mercado para a TAP nestes últimos anos, respondendo por uma parcela significativa nas vendas da companhia”, comemora Francisco Guarisa, diretor de Marketing da TAP no Brasil.

As frequências da companhia partindo do Brasil rumo a Portugal variam de acordo com o período e, atualmente, são: Rio de Janeiro (14 voos diretos semanais para Lisboa e 2 voos diretos semanais para Porto); São Paulo (15 voos diretos semanais para Lisboa e 2 voos diretos semanais para Porto); Belo Horizonte (5 voos diretos semanais); Porto Alegre (3 voos diretos semanais); Brasília (5 voos diretos semanais); Natal (4 voos diretos e semanais) e Recife, Fortaleza e Salvador com voos diretos e diários. A partir de Lisboa, a TAP oferece excelentes conexões para 52 destinos europeus, 14 rotas à África, EUA (Nova Iorque, Miami e Boston), Canadá (Toronto) e Venezuela (Caracas). “O hub da companhia é Lisboa, com uma localização privilegiada de acesso na Europa, na encruzilhada com África, América do Norte, Central e do Sul. O passageiro tem voos diretos sem ficar fazendo um ‘zigue zague’”, explica Francisco.

In the business class gastronomy, two chefs (one Brazilian and one Portuguese) are responsible for the preparation of the menu, based on a great appreciation of the products, tastes and Portuguese traditions. Portugal can also be tasted in some of the wines from the Douro, Dão, Bairrada and Alentejo regions. To relax in this service class, the A330's fleet features Recaro Lie-flat seats which are true beds, with anti-allergic pads and fabric lining specially designed for TAP softer to touch.

Números de 2015 • O Aeroporto Internacional de Dubai (DXB) fica 4 km a sudeste de Dubai. Os dois principais terminais são o 1 e o 3, que recebem os voos internacionais e são interligados. Para se ter uma ideia da magnitude do aeroporto, o percurso entre os terminais leva de 15 a 25 minutos pelo serviço de translado. Também é possível usar o metrô para fazer o trajeto. Além de dezenas de lojas e restaurantes, o aeroporto conta com o Dubai International Hotel (5 estrelas) nos terminais 1 (saguão C) e 3 (saguão A e B). O Aeroporto Internacional de Dubai foi o que recebeu o maior número de passageiros do mundo em 2015, quando registrou um tráfego de mais de 78 milhões de pessoas.

A área construída total do DXB é de 2.122.474m². Deste número cerca de 35.000 m² de área somente dedicada ao transporte de cargas. O aeroporto é também o que mais comporta aeronaves do modelo A380, com atualmente 37 gates do tipo F e um projeto para expandir para um total de 47 até 2018. RR

Quando vi em um site de leilões norte-americano este Porsche 911 anunciado, até pensei se tratar de um engano, pois nunca imaginei ver na descrição de um carro à venda a seguinte informação: VENDO PORSCHE 911 – MODELO NOVO COM MUITO USO E ALTÍSSIMA QUILOMETRAGEM Normalmente, encontramos ofertas de carros antigos com pouca quilometragem, mas o oposto eu nunca havia visto.

Como a oferta do Porsche ainda incluía uma série de fotos do carro em estado impecável, não resisti ligar para saber mais detalhes. O vendedor, de poucas palavras, se limitou a dizer que o carro havia sido vendido e, provavelmente, para se livrar de mim, forneceu o contato do comprador.

Com o comprador eu tive mais sorte, pois ele é um brasileiro há muitos anos radicado na Flórida. Isto me possibilitou conhecer os detalhes desta história e conhecer esta alternativa diferente de proprietários de carros de luxo.

O dono do Porsche 911, o LBV, tem que permanecer anônimo. E não pensem que LBV são as iniciais dele. Na realidade, a sigla LBV significa “Le Bon Vivant”, que melhor descreve este amante de automóveis, apreciador de bons vinhos, charutos, gastronomia requintada e, acima de tudo, ótimos negócios.

When I saw this 911 Porsche announced on a North American auction site, I actually thought it was a mistake because I never imagined seeing the following information in the description of a car for sale: 911 PORSCHE FOR SALE – NEW MODEL WITH LOTS OF USE AND VERY HIGH MILEAGE Usually we find offers for old cars with little mileage, but I had never seen the opposite.

As the Porsche offer also included a series of photos of the car in impeccable condition I could not resist calling for more details. In a nutshell, the seller, simply said that the car had been sold and provided the buyer's contact, probably to get rid of me.

I was luckier with the buyer because he is a Brazilian man who has been living in Florida for many years. This enabled me to know the details of this story and to learn about this different alternative of luxury car owners.

The owner of the 911 Porsche, the LBV, has to remain anonymous, and do not think that LBV are his initials. In fact, LBV stands for "Le Bon Vivant," which best describes this car lover, a connoisseur of good wines, cigars, exquisite cuisine and, above all, great deals.

There is a tendency for luxury car owners to make little use of their "treasures," turning them into "Garage Trophies," which is understood by considering the high value of the investment and perhaps even the lack of practicality and comfort that older sports cars offered.

But nowadays the reality is different. Current Super-Cars offer plenty of comfort like air conditioning, adjustable suspension, automatic shifter, sound, and what we can best describe as a "civilized performance" even in the busy day-to-day traffic of big cities. Perhaps the biggest complicated factor in everyday use is still in most models at low ground, but the quality of streets and roads, mainly in Europe and the United

garagem”, o que é compreensível, levando em conta o alto valor do investimento e talvez até a pouca praticidade e conforto que os carros esporte mais antigos ofereciam.

Porém, hoje em dia a realidade é outra. Os super-carros atuais oferecem bastante conforto, como ar-condicionado, suspensão ajustável, cambio automático, som, e o que podemos descrever como “desempenho civilizado” mesmo no trânsito intenso do dia a dia das grandes cidades. Talvez o maior complicador no uso diário ainda seja, na maioria dos modelos, a pouca altura do solo, mas a qualidade das ruas e estradas principalmente na Europa e Estados Unidos minimizou este inconveniente.

Não são raros os estudos que apontam mudanças nas sociedades de consumo, indicando que a tendência de acumular tesouros para admiração nas casas (ou nas garagens) está se transformando e cada vez mais as sensações de prazer superam a satisfação de possuir. Hoje em dia, a valorização de experiências especiais, viagens, gastronomia, vinhos, charutos, etc., é um claro testemunho desta mudança.

Atentas a estas tendências, as montadoras de veículos vêm investindo cada vez mais na experiência de dirigir e principalmente a Porsche obteve bastante êxito no desenvolvimento de super-carros para o uso diário.

Para divulgar esta qualidade de seus produtos, há mais de uma década agências de marketing e montadoras vêm desenvolvendo projetos que visam incentivar a utilização extrema de seus produtos, além de monitorar exemplares que no futuro possam ser utilizados na comunicação das empresas.

O Porsche 911 do LBV que mostramos nesta edição é uma amostra destes programas e, hoje, orgulhosamente já exibe 145.000 milhas, equivalentes a mais de 233.000 quilômetros rodados. Para este programa, consumidores VIP’s são escolhidos com base no seu histórico de motorista, posicionamento como formador de opinião, conhecimentos automobilísticos e afinidade com a marca.

Na minha conversa com o LBV, acabei descobrindo que premissas destes programas são uma fidelidade total com a manutenção nas concessionárias autorizadas, a observação dos serviços de manutenção preventiva e a utilização consciente do veículo.

Quando perguntei ao LBV se havia um limite de velocidade imposto, a resposta foi imediata: não! O Porsche foi feito para andar rápido!

Outro compromisso do programa diz respeito à venda do veículo que obrigatoriamente deve ser aprovada pelo operador do programa, tendo este, inclusive, a primeira opção de compra. Mas o melhor ficou para o fim: o carro é vendido, ou mesmo re-vendido, pela metade do preço!

No caso deste Porsche 911, o primeiro dono, que rodou os 230.000 quilômetros, passou o carro para frente pois estava recebendo, também pela metade do preço, um Porsche Panamera 2017.

Mas calma, infelizmente o LBV também me esclareceu que não adianta nada sair ligando para as fábricas se candidatando para comprar um carro pela metade do preço, pois, como todos os programas VIP’s, este você também não escolhe... é escolhido!

Studies that point to changes in consumer societies are not uncommon, indicating that the tendency to accumulate treasures for admiration in homes (or garages) is changing, and the sensations of pleasure increasingly outweigh the satisfaction of owning. Nowadays, the valuation of special experiences, trips, gastronomy, wines, cigars, etc., is a clear testimony to this change.

In keeping with these trends, vehicle manufacturers have been increasingly investing in the experience of driving and Porsche has been very successful in the development of Super-Cars for daily use.

To further promote this quality of its products, for over a decade, marketing agencies and automakers have been developing projects that aiming to encourage the extreme use of their products as well as to monitor copies that may be used in corporate communication in the future.

The LBV's 911 Porsche that we show in this issue is a sampling of these programs and now it proudly displays 145,000 miles, equivalent to more than 233,000 km run. For this program some VIP consumers are chosen based on their driver's history, positioning as opinion makers, automotive knowledge and affinity with the brand.

In my conversation with the LBV I discovered that the premise of these programs is total loyalty with maintenance at authorized dealers, observation of preventive maintenance services and conscious use of the vehicle.

When I asked the LBV if there was a speed limit imposed, the response was immediate: No! The Porsche was made to ride fast!

Another commitment of the program concerns the sale of the vehicle that must be approved by the operator of the program with the first option of purchase, but the best is left for last: The car is sold, or even re-sold for half the price!

In the case of this 911 Porsche, the first owner who ran the 230,000 kilometers sold the car because he was receiving, also for half the price, a Panamera Porsche 2017.

But relax, unfortunately, the LBV also clarified to me that there is no point in calling the factories and apply to buy a car for half the price, because like all VIP programs, you do not choose... You get chosen!

Devido à proximidade com os Estados Unidos, Los Cabos recebe grande influência do estilo de vida Norte Americano. Também é comum se deparar com astros de Hollywood por lá.

Los Cabos está localizado na ponta da península da Baja California, conhecido como “El fin de la tierra” (O fim da terra), por ser a última porção de terreno da Península da Baixa Califórnia, território compartilhado entre o México e os Estados Unidos.

The sea is the great attraction in Los Cabos. Para aqueles com espírito menos badalador e mais cultural, vale um passeio até San José del Cabo e conhecer a antiga missão jesuítica do século 18, com uma praça bem charmosa, onde está a Igreja de San José. Lojas de artesanatos e restaurantes típicos conferem a San José um ar mais calmo do que San Lucas e uma atmosfera mais contemplativa. Ambas as cidades constituem o destino.

Mexican and with a Tourism Degree, Diana Pomar arrived in Brazil in 2011 to take over the position of Board of the Council for Tourism Promotion in Mexico and Brazil. Today, she is responsible for showing the beauties of Mexico to the Brazilian public, and she will provide guidance to businessmen and leisure travelers, so they can enjoy the best sights in the city of São Paulo. Um passeio muito bom é pelo centro histórico, com o Mercadão, Pátio do Colégio e Catedral da Sé.
