Golf Maintenance Update

So far this winter has been much warmer than a typical winter season. The mild temperatures have driven the success of our overseeding.

We have been working hard to ensure the playability of the courses are as good as they look. The increase in growth requires additional attention to maintain a smooth playing surface. This includes double cutting the greens and rolling them.

In addition, we will be dusting the tees and fairways with light rates of seed to maintain the turf texture and fill in any voids. This will ensure we have a strong overseed layer throughout the busy season.

We have also remained diligent with continuing fertilizer and herbicide applications. This is all in preparation for the upcoming growing season. By establishing a strong base of nutrients in the soil now, we can greatly improve the success of our transition period in late spring.
