Motorized Load Drop the new film in, shut the camera back and the film is automatically set ready for the first picture. Motorized Film Advance Automatically winds the film on ready for the next picture. Motorized Rewind When the film is finished a switch rewinds the film. With a~omatic rewind the camera senses the film end and ' operates the rewind motor. Zoom Lens Yo~ c~n compose your picture by ad1usting the lens. Your subject will appear nearer or farther away as you "zoom". Autofocus The·subject in the centre of the view finder is automatically focused by the camera. Auto Exposure ~e came~a. adjusts automatically for the hght conditions - perfect pictures! Sensor Flash The camera detects when there is insufficient light and automatically operates the flash. Fill-In Flash The flash fills in foreground shadows in bright conditions. Film Speeds Film speeds indicate the film's sensitivity to light- "Fast" films with a high ISO number (eg ISO 1000) will take pictur.es in poor light. "Slow" films (eg ISO 100) require good light - norme! daylight. Compact cameras should be adjusted to the speed of the film used. Straight . forward models usually have a simple switch. DX coding Some compact cameras have a facility "'.'hich "r_eads" for you the speed ofthe film you insert. The camera automatically adjusts, avoiding human error.
