Portal Security 101
Keeping your business safe is fast, fun & easy!
Protecting your data is always our top priority, so we will be enhancing the security of our Retailer Portal with a new 2 Factor Authentication process. Only trusted devices can access this system, ensuring your information is Ultra-secure. Now you can do even more for your Customers – like quickly perform a SIM swap on your own! To enhance your security settings (and score high on your pop quiz), here’s a crash course on everything Retailer Portal security.
Lesson 1: Register a secure mobile phone number
You’ll need to register a secure mobile number to your Company Profile in the Retailer Portal. There will be an open enrollment period to do this from August 1st to October 31st. You’ll be asked to enter the 6-digit code sent to the registered number via SMS, so have your phone close by when registering. After October 31st, you’ll need to contact your Master Agent or your Ultra Account Manager if you want to add or make any changes to your number.
Lesson 2: Register your preferred devices
Once you’ve added a secure mobile number, you can register all of your devices (desktop computer, mobile phone, tablet, laptop, etc.) under your account. To register your devices, follow these steps:
• Log in to your Ultra Retailer Portal on the device to be added
• Click on “Add this Device” found under Manage Registered Devices
• Create a Device Name (used to distinguish each device registered)
• Enter the 6-digit code that will be sent to your secure mobile number via SMS
