April 22 is Earth Day. How will you

celebrate?
As the seasons change and we begin to spend more time outside, Earth Day is an invitation to reexamine our relationship with the natural environment and reconsider how we can contribute to the advancement of our global community. For instance, by working together with the Sustainable Forestry Initiative, Ultra Mobile guarantees that for every tree that is cut down to create a POP display, seven more are planted.
We believe that Earth Day is more than reducing, reusing and recycling just for one day.

What does sustainability mean to you, and how do you practice sustainability throughout your day?
Sustainability means prolonging the life of our Earth. To add another few years to the billions, I recycle often and carpool with my wife.

Carlos is very environmentally friendly. He always looks for ways to contribute to the planet, making sure the next generation is taken care of. In addition to being a personal trainer, some of the practices he does in his daily life are reusing his water bottles, jogging to the gym instead of driving and staying involved with his community to contribute to green initiatives. He is always looking for greener solutions.
Sustainability means doing something that is progressive in a positive way. I like walking instead of driving with my family to places like downtown.

To me, sustainability means “Don’t be WASTEFUL!” Here in our store, we know people tend to toss out trash that can actually be recycled. So, we offer to recycle used phone cases on our customer’s behalf, because it is more than likely to go to a landfill and not the proper recycling facilities. We send them to Apple recycling service. That’s what we do to contribute to a greener environment.
