LESS CONFUSION The biggest news is that we’ve adjusted the customer-facing marketing of our Ultra Flex Family and Ultra Flex plans by adding the $1 per line credit regulatory recovery fee into the marketed base price.

All sales and marketing collateral have been updated to show prices from $12.50/$50 rather than $11.50/$46. Note: the $11.50 plus $1 will still show separately in the Retailer Portal.

These changes are coming thanks to valuable input from Retailers like you! We heard that there was confusion among the all-new group of customers that Ultra Flex is bringing in. Because many are new to independent wireless, they are unfamiliar with the standard recovery fees that our Ultra Classic customers take as given. Now that we’ve rolled the fees into the marketed price, that confusion should clear up.

There is no change to the way Ultra Retailers are compensated for Ultra Flex sales today. Retailers earn 20% Airtime Margin on any recharge or add-on purchases for Ultra Flex. Not making 20% Airtime Margin?

Over the last several years, our Retailers and Master Agents identified Family Plans as one of, if not the, most requested features from customers. You spoke. We listened and created Ultra Flex Family—the first family plan built for prepaid! So be sure to let your customers and their families know it’s here!

Now your customers can buy unlimited talk & text for up to five lines on a single account at our lowest prices ever—as low as $12.50/mo when they add four lines or more. Each line adds 250MB of shareable 4G LTE data to the plan, and any family member can purchase more for their plan at any time.

It’s easy to create families, too! When two or more customers that wish to form a family plan come in, simply identify which is the plan’s parent and which will be the plan’s child. From that point, just activate their new numbers (or

port in their existing ones) and purchase the amount of line credits they need (four is their best value). Even better, put them on Auto Recharge and everyone locks in at $12.50/mo!

The plan’s parent can add more family members by sharing the unique invite code that they are automatically given via SMS at activation. New members can then bring that code to a Retailer to be added to the plan.

Plus, with Ultra Flex Family, a plan’s parent can pay for the entire family, or each member can pay for their own line, so no one risks losing service. And members can be added or removed on an ongoing basis. Talk about flexibility!

In addition to fighting off villainous competitors, we support our Retailers, Master Agents and our Ultra Field Sales Team behind the scenes. We also manage all Sales programs and activities. We can’t tell you exactly what that entails, or we’d have to deactivate you!

With any new product launch or plan update, we collaborate with other departments to answer questions before they are asked— almost like we can read minds…or can we?

We create training materials, FAQs and step-by-step guides to ensure our Retailers understand the changes and/or updates to make it easier to sell. Also, we help resolve issues, answer questions and put out fires*.

But seriously, we develop, execute and support all aspects of Sales including strategy, budgeting, incentives, training, communication, issue resolution and much more. Also, we manage various programs like onboarding new Retailers, demo lines, custom exterior signage and Ultra TV as well as create and implement new programs like Market Development and Outbound Call Programs to expand distribution to new areas.

YOU’VE JUST LAUNCHED ULTRA FLEX FAMILY AND ULTRA FLEX. WHAT WAS GOING THROUGH YOUR MINDS DURING THE LEAD UP? All the possibilities—thinking through every probable question or scenario a Retailer may encounter as well as the best way to explain and train our field sales team and Retailers so it is easily understood and retained. In the end, it was an amazing culmination of effort from everyone—and when our powers combine, we are Ultra!!

IF THE SALES OPS TEAM WAS A MOVIE, WHAT WOULD IT BE? Avengers meets Super Troopers. We work together as a team and support each other in anything we do in our work or personal lives, but we keep it fun, filled with jokes and laughs at the same time.
