Coastal Cottage
Coastal living, without the clichés. A crisp
palette of blue and white gives these pieces
classic nautical character, while hand-applied finishes and polished brass hardware add a
touch of elegant charm. Rooted in tradition
yet beautifully relaxed, this is coastal style with a refined point of view, one that’s less beach house and more beautiful house.

Modern Heirloom Inspired by the charm of classic
New England homes, these pieces
bring the character of the past into
modern life. Antique brass pulls, lightly distressed finishes, and hand-painted
details lend each silhouette a sense of
history and heritage. Designed to feel collected rather than new, they’re the
kind of pieces meant to be lived with and cherished for generations.

RAE LANE INTERIORS @raelaneinteriors Saint Simons Island, GA The Savannah Bed was a perfect choice; it has that timeless, collected quality I love, but with enough personality to keep the room feeling fresh. The bamboo detailing brings an interesting architectural element and a subtle nod to classic coastal design. Sherwin-Williams Tradewind was the perfect finishing touch, giving the entire space a fresh, sophisticated point of view. Savannah Bed, King SB006-K Photographer: Elena Hallen (project & headshot)

DUVÄL DESIGN @duvaldesignllc Fairfax, VA We chose three pieces from Somerset Bay, because each had a shape that felt capable of becoming part of the story we were creating. The desk had a graceful, almost lyrical silhouette that we loved, while the chair brought a sense of movement and playfulness through its exaggerated, looping form. “The armoire felt the most fantastical of the three; its shape and proportions seemed to give the piece a personality of its own, almost bringing an inanimate object to life.” Camden Display Case SB098

U-FAB INTERIORS @ufabinteriors Richmond, VA We chose the Carson Side Chairs for the graceful and whimsical backs, which worked beautifully in a curated space that combined antiques and rustic items with refined, contemporary pieces. The wider seats and curved backs make them very comfortable, and choosing a custom paint color is a bonus! Carson Side Chair SBN1268 Photographer: Craig Hutson (project)

LESLEE MITCHELL @lesleemitchell Nashville, TN I love how the Greenwich Bedside Chest elevates the entire room. Its sophisticated design provides a beautiful anchor for the more playful elements in the space, including my vintage airplane artwork, and gives the room that perfect balance of polished and fun.
