Finca La Vuelta’s second birthday! In March 2013 we opened the doors of ´Restaurante Finca La Vuelta’ for the very first time. After ten years of successfully running a restaurant in Guardamar, we were ready to move ahead and we became the owners this old Spanish farm. After a year of renovation and rebuilding we started here two years ago. We vividly remember how incredibly exciting this was. We were wondering if our guests would still find us in the middle of nowhere. Fortunately this proved to be the case and from that moment on we have been in a roller-coaster full of surprises and excitement. The response was incredible, we have had so many international guests insuch a super cozy environment! With Finca la Vuelta we hit the bulls eye! Time has passed bye so quickly. It is a quite a cliché but if we look at our daughters, who have grown up here in Spain and are now 16 and 13 years old, we realize that time flies when you are enjoying what you are doing. We look back on the amazing two years which now lies behind us, but even more so we look forward to the future that lies ahead of us. We have so many ideas and projects, which we hope to realize in the years to come. Most importantly, all of our plans are always centered around the wishes of our guest. Together with our wonderful staff, of whom many have worked with us for many years, we will do all we can to accommodate you and all our other guests and make sure that you have an unforgettable time at Restaurante Finca La Vuelta. You may have noticed that we recently renewed our wine list. In cooperation with our wine suppliers and a number of befriended bodegas we have made a selective choice of special wines. A fine collection of wines which often come from local wine makers who usegrapes that are characteristic for this area. We partner closely with a number of famous bodegas such as ‘Enrique Mendoza’ from Alicante and ‘Vinas Elena’ from Murcia (Pachego family). These are first-class bodegas which arewell worth a visit. They offer guided tours, during which you can enjoy all the wonderful goodies they produce. Do ask our sommelier for advice for a suitable wine which will complement the choice of the meal you have ordered. We will extensively inform you about the various options and guide you to make the most perfect selection. Remember ‘Life is too short to drink bad wine’.

The official start of the new summer season and the beginning of summer time! Many people arrive in Spain after the winter season is over. Every year around Easter we welcome back many well-known faces and meet new sun-seekers. Guests come here to enjoy all the pleasures the Costa Blanca has to offer and to receive a deposit for the upcoming summer. We have had beautiful weather during the Easter period the past years and the hot temperature enabled us to serve our delicious Easter Sunday lunch outside on our stylish and cozy terrace. Every Thursday Evening: Bella Luna night For many years ‘Bella Luna’ has been a huge success at Finca la Vuelta. They are called ‘the best live duo act on the Costa!’ Bella Luna provides an unprecedented ambience and their performances have gained immense popularity. Together with the staff of Finca la Vuelta they deliver the perfect combination of a delicious luxurious dinner (4-course € 26.50) and a marvelous live show. Bella Luna offers a varied repertoire with ranges from famous songs of the Gispy Kings, Elvis Presley, Abba to Enrique Iglesias. Their dance-music includes the rumba, the bachata and the salsa. Bella Luna is also known for theirinteraction with the audience. During your stay at the Costa Blanca you cannot afford to miss one of their performances on a Thursday evening at Finca la Vuelta. La Vuelta’s Gastronomic Week 2016 Tuesday June 7th until Sunday June 12th This gastronomic week has become a well-known feature of Restaurante La Vuelta over the years! The Vega Baja area,where we are residing, is renowned for its tasteful agricultural and sea products. An example of one of these typical regional products is the so-called ‘Ñora’. This sweet paprika/pepper species is grown extensively along the coast of Guardamar. At the end of the summer these are harvested after which they aredried in the hot sand of the beautiful dunes for which the Guardamar area is known for. By means of this drying process the Ñora get its typical salty-sweet taste and is applied as a flavor enhancer in sauces, soups and paellas. For the locals the Ñora has become indispensable in their kitchen! Another typical product where the region is known for is the famous ‘Langostinos de Guardamar’. These tiger shrimps are caught just off the coast of Guardamar and connoisseurs regard them as the very best of this region. The high content of oxygen in the water as a result of the river ‘Segura’ flowing into the sea at Guardamar give these shrimps an exceptional quality. At the auction of Guardamar very high prices are being paid for these unique shrimps,which amounts up to € 50,00 per kilo! June is known as the ultimate lobster month and every year we serve delicious fresh lobster during this special week to make the menu extra festive and exquisite.
