Strengthening families. Changing the future.
Understanding our culture is crucial as you partner with us to accomplish our mission. At Resource Health, we express our culture in the intangible ways we demonstrate our values, beliefs, and practices.
You may ask, how we show our Christian values, share the gospel, speak for the unborn child, and see those we serve choose life for their child nearly 85% of the time. Perhaps it’s not with the methods you assume.
Our desire to see lives and souls saved is only eclipsed when compared to Jesus’ own desire. In the three decades I’ve served him in this ministry, I’ve learned that we are gentle truth-tellers, and the Holy Spirit is the one who “closes the deal.” As you look through the pages in this booklet, I pray you are encouraged by the Kingdom work accomplished at each Resource Health center.
Kathy Edwards Chief Executive Officer
We’re doing more than saving a child’s life: we’re inviting Jesus into the lives of all we serve, believing He will grant them repentance and lead them to the knowledge of the truth, in all things, for a lifetime.
When you partner with Resource Health, you’re making an investment—strengthening families, changing futures, and building communities that will share this culture that, for many, begins right here.
Resource Health exist to offer compassionate care to men and women experiencing an unplanned pregnancy. Our focus is to holistically empower the family unit through advocacy, education, mentoring and discipleship. Our goal is to positively impact families now and for generations to come.
We strive to make Resource Health the first choice for those who are at risk for abortion in our service communities. We work to create a culture of life through education, advocacy, evangelism, and discipleship.
“Resource Health staff are positive, uplifting, very helpful, and caring. I don’t know what I would have done without them.”
— Aiyana S.
In January 2023, Resource Health entered a new season of ministry as we launched an innovative new virtual center. This allows us to engage with potential abortion-minded clients who may otherwise never step foot through the doors of one of our buildings. This initiative is made possible by the generous donations of partners who believe in our mission and desire to see more men and women facing unexpected pregnancies choose life.
Offered regardless of sex, pregnancy status, sexual orientation, ethnicity, or religion.
Provided to all female clients experiencing an unexpected pregnancy.
This critical introduction gives moms and dads a window to the womb and allows baby’s heartbeat to be seen.
Male and female client advocates lay the groundwork for further support, services, and resources.
Group classes and individual case management for male and female clients.
We help guide new dads from, “I’m not ready!” to, “We can do this.”
Connecting clients with the local church where mentors meet one-on-one with clients or host classes at a partner church.
We’d always considered saving babies as a nationalor state-level fight. When we discovered Resource Health, the Lord opened our eyes to how it’s also about loving, serving, providing for, and helping men and women to know Jesus. Everything we’ve given would be worth it for just one life, so it thrills us to see so many babies and their families thriving because of Resource Health.
— Jason & Joni Roberts and family
Sharing the love and truth of Jesus with everyone everywhere is why we are so passionate about the ministry of Resource Health. They are a home mission that can reach people who may never darken the doors of a church and at a vulnerable time when they are searching for answers. “How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, ‘Your God reigns!’”
—
Elijah & Anthea Ralovo
Resource Health is innovative, serves with compassion, and strives to continue to meet the needs of women, babies, and fathers in an everchanging landscape. Culture and technology have changed everything. They are good stewards of both the work they are called to do and the client and donor relationships in their care. It is a privilege to partner with an effective ministry making real impact… for generations.
— Kristin & Mark Hammett and family
We believe each person is made by God in his image, loved by God, and has value—the mom, the dad, and the unborn child. We’ve seen Resource Health love moms and dads where they are and provide education, resources, and support for those facing an unplanned pregnancy, all while sharing the hope found in Jesus Christ.
— Mike & Tricia Hanska
“My dad wasn’t around when I was a kid. I didn’t want that for my kids. Dads Matter helped me be there for them.”
— Nate M.

Resource Health Mentors are vital to the completion of our mission.
When a mentor connects heart-to-heart with a Resource Health client, the mentor becomes the strategic connection to the local church.
A relationship with the local church creates the best atmosphere for positive impact and generational change.
Resource Health invites churches to commit to providing their location to host Mentoring classes twice a year. The church would choose the dates depending on facility and volunteer availability. Most classes will last an hour to an hour and a half and will begin at 11AM, 1PM, or 6PM.
Our Mentoring Program connects clients and their families to the church. Having a member of the church co-lead the class alongside the Mentoring Coordinator assists our clients in developing a relationship with the church member, making the transition to long-term discipleship more likely. The Mentoring Coordinator will help train the co-leader on the curriculum before classes begin.
Childcare volunteers create an environment for the client to focus on what is being taught. We will need one to two childcare volunteers depending on the needs for each class. Many clients have multiple children and the opportunity to serve them with childcare is another incentive for them to come to class.
Due to many of our clients being nursing moms, we ask each mentoring church to provide snacks and drinks. The clients really enjoy this time to come for fellowship. Additionally, some of our class times will go through the lunch hours.
