Need Help With Your Alameda County ERAP Application? Contact EBRHA! Currently Offering Rent Relief Application Assistance to Qualifying Rental Property Owners/Managers, & Renters in Alameda County Big news! EBRHA has received a $75K grant from the Alameda County Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP) to help distribute the county’s allocation of $126M in emergency rental assistance funds (rounds 1 and 2) – this does not include federal allocations for Fremont and Oakland or the state’s more recent $5.2B in additional aid for rent repayment assistance. To date, the county has approved about $15M in rent repayment assistance since the program’s inception in mid-March 2021. Before the county’s grant award, EBRHA helped over 160 rental property owners and their renters apply for rent repayment assistance.
EBRHA is now providing expanded drop-in, virtual and phone assistance for applicants. The first and second rounds of federal assistance must be fully distributed by September 2022 and September 2025, respectively. As Outreach Ambassadors and Application Assistance Coordinators for Alameda County, EBRHA will provide new outreach campaigns and restart its ERAP application assistance to association members, rental housing providers (non-members) and their renters in Alameda County.
