WindSy nc The University of Nevada, Reno’s Performing Arts Series continues with a performance by the chamber music group WindSync, whose name is a nod to '90s pop group 'N Sync. The Houston-based woodwind quintet plays exclusively from memory, including elements of staging and choreography, and focuses on building connections with audiences through dynamic concert programming and charismatic stage presence. Their pop-rock sensibilities and performances respectfully breathe new life into revered old-world traditions. The show begins at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 6, at Nightingale Concert Hall inside the Church Fine Arts Complex, 1335 N. Virginia St., at the University of Nevada, Reno. Tickets are $24 for adults, $20 for seniors, UNR faculty and staff, $12 youths and students and $5 for UNR students with ID. Call 784-4278 or visit www.unr.edu/pas. OPINION
