7/15:Reno Basque Festival The 50th annual festival celebrate Basques culture traditional dancing, food, music and more. Dancers with will perform folk dances and provide instruction to audience members so they can join in the fun. Astronaut.The exhibition immerses visitors in the science and engineering of spaceflight via state-of-the-art video game technology, simulators and actual NASA reconnaissance data. Using astronaut ID swipe cards, participants launch in space capsules like the USS Roddenberry and drive on the Moon or Mars. The exhibit includes the Mars rover “Opportunity” mockup from NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, space suit replicas and space memorabilia from American pop culture. NamedSue. At 42 feet long and 12 feet high at the hips, Sue is the largest, most complete and best-preserved T. rex ever discovered. 7/16:Rain City Ramblers This acoustic trio from Seattle, Washington draws deep well of American roots music to create their upon the original songwriting and arrangement. The band formed in 2016, when Forrest Marowitz (upright bass), Daniel Ullom (mandolin) and James Horbett (guitar) began swapping tunes in a community kitchen. They have been performing regularly together ever since and have shared the stage with notable acts such as Elephant Revival, Billy Strings, Head for the Hills and Rushaad Eggleston.
