There are a number of items you can dispose of at the Renmark Waste Transfer Station for free!

E-waste, or electronic waste, refers to discarded electrical and electronic equipment. This includes items like computers, mobile phones, televisions, and household appliances that are no longer wanted or usable. Due to the hazardous materials they may contain and valuable resources they possess, e-waste requires specific handling and disposal methods.

Last Tuesday of each month. Eligible containers are FREE of charge. Bookings are essential, please call 8580 3000 to secure a spot.
How are fees set?
Fees are set to ensure the Renmark Waste Transfer Station recovers the cost of providing the service.
Can I purchase items from the scrap metal heap?
The Waste Transfer Station is a drop-off facility only. Items deposited at the site can only be removed by approved contractors for recycling or secondary use.
Why is there a charge to dispose of green waste if it is being recycled?
Renmark Paringa Council operates under a user-pays model. Although green waste is recycled, there are significant costs associated with transporting and processing the material using specialised equipment.
