A Letter from our President RENEW International’s 40th Anniversary year has been a great opportunity for us to reflect on our roots and our journey until now, but, most importantly, to look ahead to where the road may lead us. RENEW has never rested on past accomplishments, but rather has always looked for new ways to help Catholics renew their faith and connect it to daily life.

One of the ways we are doing that is with the introduction of two mobile apps, Pray2Gether and Pray the Gospels.

Pray 2Gether helps families pray with their children. Weekly sessions bring parents and children together, with reflection questions and action steps for both. It is available for free in the Apple App Store and on Google Play.

Pray the Gospels guides a user through lectio divina, a prayer form based on contemplation of the Scriptures. It is a wonderful way to make a deeper connection with the Gospels. Use it alone, or with the RENEW Scripture Series to go beyond Bible study to gospel living. Like Pray 2Gether, it is free and available in the Apple App Store or on Google Play.

One of our newest printed resources, Balancing Faith & Work: The Dynamic Leader, recently won first in the general-interest category in the annual competition conducted by the Association of Catholic Publishers. About the Author

Edward J. Ciuba is a priest of the Archdiocese of Newark. He was a professor of biblical studies at Immaculate Conception Seminary and then served as rector of the seminary at Mahwah (Darlington), NJ, and then at Seton Hall University, South Orange, NJ. He is in residence at Church of the Presentation, Upper Saddle River, NJ, where he is member of the St. Francis Eco-spirituality Committee. He is a frequent speaker on Scripture, ecology, and spirituality.
