Welcome to SVNIT, Surat! After years of consistent hard work , you’ve finally made it here. The next 4 or 5 years promise to be some of the most formative and momentous years of your life. You walked into this campus as naïve boys and girls but, you will walk out as intelligent men and women with resounding ambitions, invigorating enthusiasm, and experiences of a lifetime. In the end, you’ll either rush out, feeling like you’ve spent an eternity in this 250-acre campus, or you’ll be willing to trade your soul for just one more day here with the people you cherish.

Your seniors have been in your shoes before, not knowing what lies ahead on this journey called college life. You’ve heard stories about it from friends and watched movies and shows, wondering when your turn will come. Well, your turn has officially arrived. The world is your oyster and we want you to make the most of it. In a nutshell, this magazine is what we would have liked to receive from our seniors – a guide book for new students. While it does its best to be comprehensive, it’s certainly not exhaustive. It’s just meant to facilitate and aid you. Remember, you’re in college now. And it’s time to write your own story.
