MEET THE TEAM
Mychal Watts is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and has worked to become a professional entertainment photographer after serving our great nation. He developed a keen talent for photography working at a professional photo lab in New York City Box One as a technician where he earned the distinction of a Master Black and White and Color Technician.

During a 9-year tenure he was introduced to entertainment photographer John Bellisimo, as well as Kevin Mazur. Eventually he became a technical advisor and over time he shot his first live show which was published with George Clinton and The Funkadelics in Central Park.
This exposure eventually landed him gigs covering the Sundance Film Festival, Grammys, Oscars, A list actors and red carpets, as well as assignments for Getty/Wireimage for media placement. He also became the Director of Photography Services for the Coalition to Salute America’s Heroes, which is a charity organization that provides financial and emotional family support for wounded troops returning home from injuries received during combat tours in the middle east.
Based in New York City, his current focus is creative portraiture, fashion editorials and headshots. He also remains an active contributor and stringer photographer at Getty/Wireimage.
