FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY´S

Five Nights at Freddy’s is an indie point-and-click survival horror video game and the first installment of the series developed by Scott Cawthon. t was first released on IndieDB as a demo on July 24, 2014 before the full game was released on August 8, 2014 and released on Steam on August 18, 2014.

The goal for the player is to survive five nights at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza while avoiding getting caught and stuffed into a mascot costume, thus getting killed by the animatronic characters; this is done by tracking their movements via the restaurant’s security cameras.

The player controls Mike Schmidt, the night guard at the fictional Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza restaurant. The objective of the game is to survive a whole shift, which lasts from midnight to 6 AM, while avoiding the four animatronics who roam the restaurant after hours.

The player controls Jeremy Fitzgerald, the night guard at the newly revamped Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. Jeremy must survive the shift without being attacked by the Animatronics wandering through the building. The game introduces the Toy Animatronics as antagonists.

Set chronologically as the sequel to Five Nights at Freddy´s, decades after the events of the first game. The game has only one animatronic that can attack the player. The gameplay consists of using audio to lure off the animatronic and seal off the vent that is connected to his location, to avoid him from entering the office.

In this game, you must once again defend yourself against the animatronics, playing as a child who must safeguard himself until 6am by watching the door and warding off unwanted creatures that may venture into your closet or the bed behind you with only a flashlight and has to rely heavily on the environmental sounds to know if something is going to attack.

This is the fifth installment of the series, presenting a major change in its gameplay, allowing players to roam free and explore different areas of the pizzeria.It maintains the format of surviving through 5 nights but each night will have a different series of objectives for the player to complete.

The sixth installment of the series. Its main focus is running a pizzeria and making sure that its a safe environment. In this game, the player finds themselves in a dark office with a computer and two vents to the sides, where they must complete a series of tasks on the computer, while preventing animatronics from entering the office.

The game features all of the animatronics from previous games, as well as introducing new characters.

The gameplay consists of the player in their office with the primary goal of surviving until 6am, but there are various factors to take into consideration in order to survive the night.

Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted is a collection of classic and original minigames set in the Five Nights universe.

There is a total of 40 playable minigames in the base game.Upon fully completing the game, players are treated to an end game which expands upon the lore of the games.

FREDBEAR´S FAMILY DINER “I think the name of the place was...”Fredbear’s Family Diner” or something like that. It’s been closed for years though, I doubt we’ll be able to track anybody down.” - Phone Guy

Fredbear’s Family Diner was the first establishment opened by Henry Emily and his business partner, William Afton, sometime before 1983. According to Phone Guy in Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, the restaurant was presumably a local family restaurant before it closed under mysterious circumstances. By the time the events of the second game occur, in November 1987, the diner and its owner, Henry, have been gone for years. In Five Nights at Freddy’s 4, the Crying Child is often seen in the diner. It appears to have similar features to Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, such as a Show Stage and Backstage. In the final minigame, the Crying Child ends up being shoved into Fredbear’s mouth by his older brother, and his friends, only for Fredbear to clamp his jaw down on the Crying Child’s head.

This incident, dubbed “The Bite of ‘83”, is presumably one of the reasons that the diner closed Theories

Based on theories created by fans ,some believe that the paper plate dolls of Freddy and Bonnie that can be seen in the second game of the franchise, located in Party Room 4, represent Fredbear and Spring Bonnie, while the representation of the “Paperpal”, which is a paper plate doll based on the unconfirmed character, remains a mistery to fans.

Furthermore, some speculate that the “Take Cake to the Children” death minigame in Five Nights at Freddy´s 2 possibly takes place in the original Fredbear’s Diner.

Like Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, Fredbear’s Family Diner is reminiscent of, and could have been inspired by, Chuck E. Cheese’s, a real-life family entertainment center that also sells pizza, caters parties, and features an animatronic band of singing mascots. It could also be a nod to ShowBiz Pizza Place, a similar restaurant that also had an animatronic band (the Rock-afire Explosion) which contained a guitar-playing bear named Billy Bob.

Fredbear

Fredbear is one of two original springlock animatronics that are part of Fredbear’s Family Diner, serving as the mascot. He is the earliest iteration of Freddy Fazbear from the Five Nights at Freddy’s franchise, and the first known animatronic made by Henry Emily Fredbear’s appearance is similar to Golden Freddy from the first game but his top hat and bow-tie are purple rather than black.

Spring Bonnie

Spring Bonnie, occasionally spelled Springbonnie, was an entertainer in Fredbear’s Family Diner, and was one of the first animatronics created by Henry Emily.

Spring Bonnie is most notable for being one of the few mascots to have animatronic suit hybrids, known as Springlock suits - as well as the main persona William Afton used for luring children during his killing sprees.

THE BITE OF ´83 A similar incident, referred by fans as “The Bite of ‘83”, was shown in Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 during a cutscene after completing the Night 5. The whole events in the game took place in 1983. The main protagonist of the game, a child who is being thrown a party at Fredbear’s Family Diner, is being bullied by several older kids and his older brother who wanted to scare him. The gang gets the victim closer to Fredbear’s stage DATA FILE and makes Fredbear “give the child a kiss” by shoving him into Fredbear’s Type: Animatronic attack mouth. Whether by accident or not, the protagonist’s head gets stuck Location: Fredbear´s in Fredbear’s gnawing mouth. The Family diner machine’s mouth then crunches shut on the victim’s head. At the ending of Date: 1983 Night 6, The crying child would be seen in the dark room. In front of him are his plushies of the original animatronics with Fredbear being in the gray carpet. Fredbear would talk to Crying Child and says that “You’re broken. We are still your friends. Do you still believe that? I’m still here.” With all of the four plushies in the room fading, with only Fredbear there. Fredbear also fades away, with saying “I will put you back together”. Evan cries and also fades away too, with a noise of heart rate monitor flat-lining would be heard in the background, signifying that Evan has died after the incident.

FREDDY FAZBEAR´S PIZZA Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza is the name of several fictional restaurants appearing in the Five Nights at Freddy’s franchise. Freddy’s is a family restaurant established in 1983 shortly before the closure of Fredbear’s Family Diner, reminiscent of ShowBiz Pizza Place and Chuck E. Cheese’s, in that Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza provides entertainment via singing animatronic mascots.

The primary mascot and figurehead of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza is Freddy Fazbear himself, accompanied by his bandmates, consisting of Bonnie and Chica, all of whom are on the Show Stage, and a secondary character named Foxy, who remains decommissioned behind his curtain in Pirate Cove. During the night, Freddy and the other animatronics come alive at night and are haunted by five children kidnapped and murdered by the company’s co-founder, William Afton.

In the first game. which is estimated to take place in 1993, the restaurant is actually set to be shut down later in the year; complaints to the Health Department about blood and mucus leaking from the suits, as well as a horrid odor, are allegedly the cause. Furthermore, business had been bad, and the management could not find a buyer for the pizzeria since no one cared to be associated with a restaurant where multiple children were murdered, giving them no other choice but to close the place down. Due to the incidents, the restaurant had been unable to earn a substantial amount of revenue.. This resulted in the implementation of a power budget at night.

Apparently, Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza is actually a restaurant chain, meaning that there are likely other locations of the restaurant sporting similar animatronics.

This is evident in the third game’s phone calls from the Night 4, in which Phone Guy states “After learning of an unfortunate incident at a sister location...”, and the sixth night in which Phone Guy states “...the previously mentioned safe rooms are being sealed at most locations, including this one.” This is also supported in the news article at the end of the sixth night, saying “A new local attraction based on an ancient pizzeria chain burned down overnight.”

Freddy Fazbear is one of the four original animatronics of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza and the titular antagonist of the Five Nights at Freddy’s series. Freddy is an animatronic bear and the mascot of the original Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. He takes the role as lead singer of the band, standing in the center of the stage. He was the mascot when the first Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza was opened in 1983.

In 1987, he and the original animatronics had fallen into severe disrepair. After the pizzeria’s closing, they were refurbished.

Freddy Fazbear was once a child that became William Afton’s second victim. He was an animatronic bear featuring springlock mechanisms and the mascot of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. He was tragically killed by William Afton before being revived in what’s implied to be a fate worse than death.

Foxy the Pirate, also known as Foxy, is one of the four original animatronics of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza and a major antagonist in the Five Nights at Freddy’s series. Foxy is a discontinued animatronic pirate fox entertainer. He resides at his own separate stage in the pizzeria. Foxy and the other original animatronics are possessed by children murdered by a man named William Afton. Due to this, he and the others are now seeking revenge against their killer by attacking in blind rage.

In 1987, he and the original animatronics had all fallen into severe disrepair and Foxy was replaced by his newer counterpart for the “improved” Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, Mangle. After the pizzeria’s closing, he and the original animatronics were refurbished for the new pizzeria, as of the events of the first game.

Bonnie the Rabbit, also known as Bonnie, is one of the four original animatronics of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza and a major antagonist in the Five Nights at Freddy’s series. Bonnie is an animatronic rabbit and the guitarist in Freddy’s band, positioned at the left side of the stage. He was the guitarist when the first Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza was opened in 1983. In 1987, he and the original animatronics had all fallen into severe disrepair and Bonnie was replaced by his newer counterpart, Toy Bonnie.

Normally, Bonnie is intentionally designed to perform on stage with the animatronic band, singing and playing his electric guitar. Bonnie’s programming often causes him to move from side to side while moving his head and jaws. he is also programmed to make movements as if he were playing his guitar.

Bonnie is an indigo-colored animatronic rabbit with blue accents, magenta eyes and a squarish muzzle. The color from his muzzle, stomach, and insides of his ears is a lavender color. Chica the Chicken, also known as Chica, is one of the four original animatronics of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza and a major antagonist in the Five Nights at Freddy’s series. Chica is an animatronic chicken and the backup singer in Freddy’s band, positioned at the right side of the stage. She was the backup singer when the first Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza was opened in 1983.In 1987, she and the original animatronics had all fallen into severe disrepair and Chica was replaced by her newer counterpart, Toy chica.

Chica is never without at least some variation of Mr. Cupcake, implying that Withered Chica may have had a variation on Mr. Cupcake at some point, but may have been removed, for reasons that ought to be obvious. This also shows that Chica has a fondness for cupcakes in general.

THE BITE OF ´87 The Bite of ‘87 was an incident that occurred in 1987 at the second Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza location. It was briefly mentioned by Phone Guy in the first game.

The details of this attack and the identity of the animatronic responsible are currently unknown, but it allegedly caused the victim to lose the frontal lobe of their brain. The victim survived the attack. This cost the company´s reputation.

As a result of the incident, the DATA FILE animatronics were no longer allowed to wander around the building during Date: 1987 the day; the management decided to limit their free-roaming mode to Type: Animatronic attack nighttime, so as to “prevent their servos from locking up”, as stated by Phone Location: Freddy Fazbear´s Pizza Guy. Some fans have speculated that Foxy may have been the animatronic responsible for the Bite of ‘87. The second game, however, seemingly rules out Foxy as the attacker, as he and the other withered animatronics were most likely in Parts/Service when the bite took place. This can also be disproved by the fact that Foxy is still present in the first game - if he had caused the bite, then it would seem very odd for the owners of the company to keep him. While this event is not directly mentioned, the game takes place within the same year as the bite. Phone Guy mentions that the final event of this Freddy’s location is a birthday party, where it is believed the bite occured, with one of the Toys attacking Jeremy, which many speculate to be the Mangle.

FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY´S MOVIE

A film adaptation of the Five Nights at Freddy’s games that released on October 27th, 2023, following a poor man named Mike Schmidt who takes a security job at the abandoned Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza Place, bringing his younger sister along with him as well as meeting Vanessa Shelly, a police officer who knows a lot about the backstory of the building.

The film follows Mike (Josh Hutcherson) a troubled young man caring for his 10-year-old sister Abby (Piper Rubio), and tormented by the unsolved disappearance of his younger brother more than a decade before, which he blames himself for and is desperate to solve.

Recently fired and desperate for work so that he can keep custody of Abby, Mike agrees to take a position as a night security guard at an abandoned theme restaurant: Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria.

But Mike soon discovers that nothing at Freddy’s is what it seems. There he has unexplainable encounters.
